The staff are so kind, friendly and hard workers. I'm not sure why this place doesn't ever seem to be packed, but they absolutely should be. I recommend you bring some Off or some kind of bug spray if you're anything like me and bugs love buzzing around your ears. Inside the one of the barns was their stores and I picked up a bag of caramel puff corn and a delicious Apple Cider slushie. Everyone was very friendly. Overall we had a very good time here, and I hope to come back on an empty stomach so that I can try out some of their cider donuts.

Tofu Pot Pie - I love that this was an option - it's so hard to find a tofu pot pie anywhere, let alone in a cute little empanada style shape! One was pretty filling and could easily be a full lunch portion for some. The crust was buttery and flaky and perfectly golden, as was the crust on everything. Spanakopita Hand Pie - very tasty and flavorful. The darkness of the spinach threw me off at first, but this was really yummy and I could've eaten multiple. Street Corn Hand Pie - great flavors and unique combination Blackberry Tangerine Pie with crumble on top (I think this was the fruit combo?) - I'm not normally a huge fan of fruit pies as they just don't excite me as much, but this one had such a phenomenal sugary crumble on top that I ate it right up. The fruit wasn't too hard or too mushy and blended well together. Key Lime Pie - a very rich, creamy, decadent pie. This seems higher in cream content than some other key lime pies and filled me up quickly so I could only have a little bit in one sitting, but it's phenomenal. Many at the party went back for seconds of this one. Service - we called to place an order ahead of time. Day of, the Pie Bar called to say the tofu option was running low, but they could secure us some extras if we wanted since we only ordered one. We really only needed the one for the lone vegetarian, but this thoughtfulness was so appreciated! This place is a slam dunk and I always look forward to seeing what will be next on their rotating menu. I wish some of my favorites stayed around longer - I really loved their Mac n Cheese hand pie that I had once years ago - it was flaky and incredible, I dream of it!

The total came out to $13 which is average for ice cream and the scoops they give are pretty big which makes it worth it. They have a lot of picnic tables on their patio, with some in the shade and others in the sun. As I ate my ice cream, l admired the lake and big trees in the distance; it truly is a beautiful space. The blueberry pie was not overly sweet, but it did have little pieces of blueberry and soft pie crust. The peanut butter truffle was a peanut butter base with chocolate chips and peanut butter cups. I specifically requested that the cake say "26 Years Later." The bakery assured me they could complete the cake by the date I needed it. Unfortunately, the cake I received looked significantly different from the inspiration photo I provided. The lettering was not what I requested, the colors were different, and the overall decorating quality did not meet my expectations for a custom cake. The frosting was uneven and had visible marks throughout the cake. To the bakery's credit, they did honor the original $60 price I was quoted after there was some confusion at pickup. However, I was disappointed with the final product and felt it did not reflect the design I ordered. I've included photos of both the inspiration cake and the cake I received so others can make their own comparison. Based on my experience, I would not order a custom decorated cake from this bakery again.
