Cute place in main street Keene. Their cupcakes and rolls are delicious. Super welcoming environment. They sell ice cream too. I took my mom there for ice cream and she loved it. Plus this picture is a beautiful memory of my mom not too long before she passed

I ordered a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting for my daughter's Keene State Graduation. It's a 6" double barrel cake to serve 20 people. Everyone enjoyed the cake itself. It was light and fluffy, and the frosting wasn't too heavy. I'm on the fence if I'd order again. I asked if the cake needed to be refrigeratored and didn't get an answer. I didn't want to pick it up early because I figured it may need to go in the fridge, and we didn't have space, so I asked if we could pick it up the day of graduation. Although it had 3 dowels inside it, the cake was very unstable and almost didn't make it home. As it got warmer, the frosting softened, and the cake continued to tip, so we cut the box off around it enough to see it. The writing was supposed to say Congratulations to Amanda for my daughter, but it didn't, and the yellow (vs red) doesn't stand out. We ended up cutting the layers apart to try and save it and served it up that way. It was very beautiful, but it was just way too tall and unstable. It would have been nice to actually present it in the table, but we made the best of it. It took 20 mins to pick up the cake because they couldn't find a box to put it in. I'm not really sure what happened, but after all of the recommendations, I am really surprised with how it all unfolded.

We absolutely love Eat More Cake! My friend and I have had the pleasure of going to two cookie decorating classes that Amy puts on, and she has such great attention to detail when putting these together. She bakes the cookies, prints out the design on them, makes the icing for them, provides the tools and support to decorate the cookie as a beginner. She's a delightful individual and remembered my friend and I at our second class, which was surprising! We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again.

How NOT to make a Black Forest Cake.
    Brian H.

My wife decided to give me a Christmas present by ordering a German Black Forest cake, which you cannot really find here in NH. She went here and asked the owner if she could make one. She said yes she could. She picked up the cake today and it was totally NOT an German Black forest cake. It was said that it was her 'take' on German Black Forest cake. Yeah. NOT. It was a regular butter cream cake that was totally NOT a Black Forest Cake. If you can't make it, just say so. Don't make a totally Un-Black Forest Cake and charge high prices for something that isn't what the customer wants. Had a piece tonight hoping it would at least have some BF taste. Totally awful. We are throwing the rest away. Waste of money. It's a beautiful cake and would make someone happy if all they wanted was a cake. But if you've actually eaten Black Forest Cake then you know it is made with real whipped cream and not butter cream. The cake layers were hard, and the butter cream too rich and thickly slathered on. Real Black Forest Cake is soft and airy and light. This was thick, hard and too sweet. Epic Fail.

Quite large cinnamon rolls that have some heft. We like these. Nice, clean store with friendly staff.

It was immediately obvious that the chocolate chip & snickerdoodle cookies were not fresh. They tasted & felt at least 2 days old. Perhaps it was our mistake for not asking when these were baked before choosing them. The iced shortbread & linzer cookies were good. The raspberry jam between the linzer's shortbread cookies was generous, making it messy to eat - but yummy. The puffy iced lemon cookie itself had a nice soft texture, but the icing on it was aggressively Sprite tasting, & overpowered the cookie. Still we enjoyed the soft cookie part naked. I love a jammy thumbprint cookie, because the cookie is soft & the jam is baked into the center to reduce it to slightly chewy. The 2 we picked here had blobs of jam placed in the center after baking, & the cookie part was almost crunchy, so every bite left crumb & jam blobs dripping on your hands. We got none of the chewy jammy centers or soft cookie parts that make thumbprints so good. I'm giving 3 stars overall because service was very warm & friendly, and the shop is very inviting. Perhaps the best cookies to get here are the shortbreads as they are very cute & seem to hold up well. Or any of the cookies we tried, that appeal to you in the ways they did not appeal to us.

Purchased two dozen holiday cookies, which came to just under $90. I don't mind paying for quality,…read morebut unfortunately the cookies were not that tasty, dry, and a little stale. Disappointed.
