I was greeted right away. He listened to me then looked at the iPad, told me $35 if he could get the broke off piece out but was sure he could, said he'd text me when done. I went back to pick it up. Logan knowingly misled me about the terms of my plan and failed to tell me I needed to port in my number for the promotion to work. The reason that they get one star is not because they couldn't fix my phone. It's because all three guys working there seemed more interested in ordering lunch than assisting me. (And I was the only one in there!) Two of them tried to figure out what was wrong and kept on saying that the only way to get my contacts back would be to retrieve my previous phone. When I told them the error message that occurred regarding "TuneWiki" guy 1 asked what that was. Guy 2 went on to take my phone and show guy 1 what it was and telling him about it. (That couldn't happen after I leave?) These guys were horribly unprofessional and I will never be back to that Verizon store. I was able to retrieve my contacts later on. They were in my trash can on Backup Assistant. Even though guy 1 said that he checked there. Attention college students: This Verizon is convenient and right next to campus. But if you want people who actually know what they are talking about, I would go somewhere else. The first stop at the store I had to wait while they finished their conversation with their friends (they said aloud that they had to go work for a minute) today was the second time and I brought everything they told me on the first visit. The employee today was dreadful. I didn't realize they were not open yet, the lights were on, door unlocked. I waited patiently at the counter. She came out from the back room and was very upset that I was in the store. She told me they didn't open for 6 minutes and I needed to get out. I asked if it would be ok to just wait at the counter as I have a bad ankle and am trying to not walk more than necessary. She said no because I shouldn't have even come in. She did let me leave the router and shipping stuff on the counter. I stepped outside. I didn't have a phone or watch on me, so no way to tell time. After what seemed like more than enough time, I opened the door and asked if it was 10 yet. She rolled her eyes and looked back down at her phone. I waited longer. Again opened and asked and she said, yes it has been for a while. Apparently letting me know would have been way too much work. I returned to the counter and she informed me that they do not take the WiFi equipment back and I needed to go to UPS. I asked why I was told to bring it here on my last visit and she told me I had probably talked to her manager, but she doesn't take equipment back. I had a question on what all needed to be returned and she told me she also did not handle that. When I got back to my car it was 10:07. She made me stand outside past when the store opened only to tell me she wouldn't help me. She could have told me that before making me stand outside. I would NOT recommend going to this store. I doubt they ever actually assist customers.
