We picked up and assembled, the unit is rock solid but will have a tech look at it due to a clicking sound when in use but based on the customer service I have received thus far I am not in the least concerned it will be addressed and rectified. I am in sales myself and have a high level of expectation when it comes to customer service. I can't speak for Johnson as a whole but I believe a companies values are carried through their employees. If you are looking for home equipment I would not hesitate to see the folks on the East side.

When he did finally come over to talk with us he copped a snotty attitude and said "you waited long enough why didn't you try it out?" So that told me he noticed us but neglected us! He talked with us for about 5 minutes and then turned and started helping another couple! What the heck? He was a major turn off. We left and I told my husband we are NEVER going to go back into that store again! Terrible, terrible customer service! By the way we bought a $3000.00 treadmill with another store. His loss.

We spent well over $3000 on the treadmill, and we also bought the extra warranty through their shop. After spending $80 on delivery, it wasn't long until the motor nearly caught fire. Clearly the machine was defective in its design, so we sent it back to 2nd Wind at another cost of $80. We had only had the machine a few months, and it was still under factory warranty. 2nd Wind refused to give us either store credit or to return our money for the cost of this defective machine. Some district manager offered us $500. Six years later, we have no machine and we're out the money we spent on a defective machine. 2nd Wind did not stand by its own warranty nor did they guarantee their product. Buyer beware.

When I had a small issue, they bent over backwards to see that I was back up and running before our holiday weekend gathering. (just 2 days from request to delivery!) If you want to try out a new activity but don't want to pay full price for equipment, start checking inventory a few months before the season starts for the best chance at a good selection. Selection tends to be pretty good early on for the popular sports.

In 2025, my husband and I purchased a Bowflex treadmill from a brick-and-mortar sporting-goods store. We had heard of the Bowflex brand decades ago, but I was not aware until now that Bowflex was purchased by Johnson Health Tech in 2024. The price of the treadmill was reasonable, and it came with a warranty. For weeks we have been using the treadmill. We like its speeds, inclines, handlebars, cup holder, screen, etcetera. It is helping us to get in physical shape. We have not experienced any problems with the treadmill. If we do have any problems with the treadmill, then I will update this review. (I empathize with the reviewers who wrote 1-star reviews.)

Neo and Trinity used to keep in shape using this place, but then they killed them off (lame)…read more Matrix Fitness is pretty good, and when they have options to watch digital content like Netflix or even better, they're really good, but I think Precor bikes are slightly better even though the TV quality sucks, and Cybex is definitely the best of the bunch in my experience, but these days I use a lot more Precor than Cybex and Matrix combined, not sure why.
