I've been filling up my back right tire for about 3 weeks now; it was leaking fairly slowly, so I didn't pay too much attention to it. Until... it started leaking a lot faster and I came out of my mother's house to find that my back right tire looked like... well... the opposite of Angelina Jolie's lips... (certainly not full). So I get to one of the closest gas stations to my mother's house and fill up my tire at the air pump. As I'm doing this, I see a mechanic tend to a Woman's car who had just pulled up out of nowhere. She just pulled up, parked in front of the garages and asked for help. He topped off some liquids, he checked the oil... and he gave her the all clear and sent her on her way. So... I waffled with the idea of going up to him for 10 seconds... and then I was like.. ( I'm gonna get stuck somewhere horrible and wish I would have gone up and talked to this guy) Enter Marco! The Picasso of parts, the Monet of mechanics, the John Belushi of car jockeys. He took one of his industrial jacks in front of the garage, jacked up my car and started inspecting my tire for nails. He felt around with his hands but couldn't find any nails. So he went and got a spray bottle of some soapy substance and started spraying it on the tire, smoothing it across the tire with one hand, and spinning the tire with his other. It was so methodical and smooth- it reminded me of the ghost pottery scene. *Cue Righteous Brother Unchained Melody* So then I got down there on the ground with him and hugged his back as we both spread the soap all over the dirty tire... methodically... slowly... fully, "Let the soap slide between your fingers" he whispered into my ear. Just kidding! But wouldn't that have been great. So, he starts seeing bubbles and finds my hole. Gets a plug, grabs his pliers, and his hole making thing tool and goes to town. I'm telling you, this whole process took Marco probably 5 minutes max. His broad and fine tuned brush strokes were so purposeful and beautiful. After that, he goes around checks the pressure on the rest of my tires, telling me they were too high, lets a little air out of them, and writes me up for 20 dollars. He fixed my 3 week problem in pretty much 6 minutes flat, and was so kind and friendly about the whole thing. I didn't have an appointment. He was definitely busy. He could have told me to: Vaya con dios. But he didn't. He wen't above and beyond and killed it. I will be going back to him, I gave him a 15 dollar tip, because not only was he amazing, he saved me getting a new tire. So really he saved me 100 dollars. THANK YOU Marco! read more

I went in there today because I had to buy an ipad charger, I didn't think they have it but to my surprise they did have many types of charges for various devices. The store is small but loaded with merchandise( emgernecy car needs) snacks water and other drinks. I was pleased because they were welcoming and nice unlike lots of other gas stations. They were welcoming and asked me nicely if I needed help. read more

Just to be clear the new market they put in is not open 24/7. They also don't have hours put up and lock the door whenever they want. Why open a market and not open it during the evening, you're a gas station. The only thing this station has is convenience of location. read more

It's perhaps odd to review a gas station, but why not? There's a Yelp entry already! This is an average size lot, with about a dozen or so pumps. Gas fills quickly. That does matter to me especially when I'm in a rush. I really dislike sluggish pumps! The prices aren't cheap; it is Rockville Pike after all. It's on a quieter part of the Pike, close to Wootton Parkway. The gas kiosks are on the older side and could use some refreshing. The panel where the receipt ejects was falling off, hanging on for dear life by one screw. There's an air filling station toward the back right side, and an attached convenience store. I had mixed feelings about this place. On the phone, I called Thursday and was told to call Monday for appt.(having a Groupon). Called Monday and he said to come at 3pm; why didn't he let me know Thursday?! Arrive a little early and got out within 45 minutes for an oil change. The front desk guy (Khan) was nice. The mechanic was a bit rude when he asked to see my Groupon to confirm it was Full Synthetic. Overall I like speed of service over attitude in this one. read more

Made an appointment for an oil change. Arrived on time and decided to have lunch while we waited. They said they'd call when ready in about an hour. We came back 90 minutes later and noticed my car had not moved. Went inside to inquire. They hadn't even started!! The person sort of apologized but not really. Said he was swamped. Yet when we went to find someone to ask, noticed 3 techs huddled in a corner no where near anyone's car. We took my key, just sitting out on a counter with everyone else's and left. Keys for cars being serviced not behind the desk and nooo one around to notice anyone. It's part of a Mobile gas station, so patrons for them come and go. Keys for cars just sitting there. Only as a desperate last resort to ever do business here. read more

Quality service at a great price! These guys really take care of your car and your pocket book too. Every once in a while I take my car to another place for a quick oil change when I'm busy and car past due for one. That mechanic always comments on how well my car runs for the age that it is. Great place to go for any car trouble you can possibly be having and great customer service which is a plus for me. I love that they don't just fix what's wrong on the car they also evaluate your car and let you know how long you have on your breaks and check leaks etc. They are very considerate of your time and budget great tire deals for sure. I have gotten a set of tires, radiator, motor mounts, breaks and many other things for my car. And I had have no issues with any of my car repairs my car feels %. I go back to this place everytime for my oil change and will go back for any other car trouble I will have in the future . This place deserves 5 's for sure read more

Very bad customer services, the serviceman was unbelievably rude, will never go there again

I managed to collect a pretty sizable Safeway gas points. When I tried to enter my card number at the pump, it didn't work. I told the station attendant on duty and he checked my gas point balance and he told me to try again. I went out to the pump and tried again and it still didn't work. The attendant came out to assist me at the pump and he was having problem with it to. He finally told me to fill up my car and pay inside after I'm done filling up. After that he was able to apply the discount. His assistance was very much appreciated! read more

Bleh. Came in for an oil change before starting my road trip. Was told it would take 45 minutes, so when I returned I was told I'd have to wait another 25 minutes. Then no, 5 more minutes. This is ridiculous. I have been to this place twice and had not bad experiences. Today I bought a groupon and wanted to make a reservation for oil change. First called at 9:15 ish. The person who picked up my phone was pretty rude and asked me to call back in 13 minutes until someone (sounds like Yixin) got back because he (the person who picked up the phone) couldn't make reservation. I waited till 9:45a and called the second time. The same person picked up my phone call and said that Yixin was out again and asked me to call back in 10 min. I'm a PhD scientist working on developing life-changing medicines. I don't have plenty of time sitting next to phone and try calling again and again during business hour. Not sure when I can get the reservation yet. Let's see. As I said, I had good experiences in the past and hope your company can grow business. My suggestions (1) I understand the staff are busy with other work. Can your company train more than one person to make reservations or make on-line reservation possible? Or make it clear reservations can only be made between certain time? (2) customers should be treated in a more polite way, otherwise they won't come back and will tell their friends not to come. read more

I recently contacted NTA/Mobil of Rockville in connection with a Groupon purchased for an oil change. The (acting) manager, Raheel, was extremely accommodating in scheduling the appointment and processing the related intake upon arrival. In addition, Jose (the technician who actually performed the work) was very thorough, taking care to inspect all aspects of my car; given they did not find any issues, it underscored their honesty and integrity. I was able to get in and out within one hour and left very satisfied. Accordingly, I have now found a new convenient place to take my vehicle in the future!! read more

Came into this gas station with my check engine light on, really nervous to let anyone touch my car. The staff was very welcoming and nice. The guys in the shop were very helpful at researching, and dedicating their selves to fixing the problem. Also, very reasonable and they AREN'T RIP OFFS LIKE MOST MECHANICS. The guy Gustavo in the NTA rockville, is not a reliable person. He talks nice but that's it, every work is expensive here. He charged me $100 for an unfinished window work and said that if you get the part I will do it for free since I have charged you for unfinished work. But once I got the part, he charged me $100 again for fixing it. He double charged me for the same work and doesn't keep up to his words. read more

They replugged a tire that was leaking around an old plug. The job was done in 10 minutes or less and cost only $20. I didn't catch the mechanic's name but he did a superb job on the tire. Customer service was excellent; everyone was beyond courteous and helpful. read more

I had a great experience here, which was such a relief after consistently feeling like I was being overcharged at my dealer and a few other places I went.
