*First to review!* My dad always says, "Not many things in life are free." So you know these workers are nice when the owner offered me a free donut upon restocking his shelf! Inside there is a Dunkin' Donuts shop. It is overall very clean. I especially appreciate the recycling bin outside the doors, you don't see that too often! Thanks for the donut! read more

Solid gas station with decent prices. The price on the road is a bit deceptive, as it's cash only, so be prepared to cough up an extra couple bucks if you only have card. I live close to this spot and haven't had issues with any of the pumps. read more

Why did I not plan ahead when it came to fuel? Found myself nearing my destination and also nearing E. Just pulled off the highway and looked for the nearest gas station. That way I could just hop back onto the highway when I was done. Pulled off and noticed that I needed to make a U-turn to get here, which helped for hopping right back on the highway. Not sure what happened when I had the intention to stop here, but it seemed like everyone else had the same intention. When I pulled into the lot every single pump was taken. Not only that, there was a backup to get to the pumps. For a quick stop, I had to wait longer than anticipated. I had no intention to go inside, I just wanted to pump and go. Finally get to a pump and felt like I almost got blocked in because of the mass confusion going on in the lot. Did what I came here to do and made my way back out of the lot and right onto the highway. read more

Best Gas Station in this area, pumps work great and fast! I even refer my daughter and grandson to fill their tanks at this station. Good selection of snacks, drinks are was nice cold from the inside snack and beverage area read more

This is my go to"work" gas station merely due its location. The prices are always $.20+ than any station I visit in Carroll or BaltCo while commuting to work. It's covered to protect from rain/snow and located next to the best Dunkin's in the area. The Nearby store that houses the DD also has a postal component and convenience store. The parking lot is always busy, beware. I've been guilty of "making" a parking space because no legitimate space was available. read more

Shell - Gas Stations Near Me - Rockville, Maryland

This is a great gas station. The store is clean, good selection in the convenience mart, easy to get in and out of, and there is a DUNKIN DONUTS! The gas pumps are a still relatively new, they broadcast news while you pump and there are plenty of trash cans around to throw away the empty water bottles rolling around on your floorboards. Gas is usually decently priced and the lit signage makes pricing clear from the road. Solid gas station. read more

Post office inside ! I love this Shell for the reasons it has a post office, a donut shop , a plethora of snacks and necessities and its close, however, the gas pump area is a NIGHTMARE and once you wait in line to get gas you may or may not be pulled up to a pump with a note on it that says credit cards can only be accepted for gas inside. If I wanted to go inside I would choose to pay first not wait in the line for a pump. BTW post office is now closed on Saturdays. read more

OK, I know, it's really random to do a review of a Shell station. But this really isn't a review of the Shell, but a review of the USPS kiosk within the Shell convenient store. Yes, I know. REALLY BIZARRE RIGHT? Let me start from the beginning. Being the slacker that I am, I realized late Friday night that the presents my brother, husband and I bought for my cousins out in LA (originally for Xmas but we decided to call them Chinese New Year gifts) were still sitting in the living room. As Chinese New Year was 3 days away (and Xmas was a month ago), I knew I had to get my butt in gear. Waking up bright and early at 11am on Saturday, I start gift-wrapping all of the presents, and started stuffing them in a huge box. Fortunately, I'm a crazy, master gift-wrapper...not so fortunately, the Miss USA reality-TV show was on TBS, and I couldn't look away. Long story short, I wasn't done until 2. Eager to get the gifts out the door, I ask my husband to find out where was the closest USPS that was still open. A quick search returned that USPS offices closes at 1pm. With the exception of this one USPS "office" on Gaither Rd in King's Farm, which is open until 5pm. Great! I toss my huge box into my car and head over there. I nearly missed it - as this location wasn't an actual USPS office...it was a little kiosk within the Shell station. And not only that, it wasn't even run by any postal workers...it's run by the Shell station. At this point, I should have just turned around home and hoped that I remembered to mail the package out on Monday...but I was already there, and if I didn't get this package out soon, my brother may run me over with his new car. And so the shenanigans began. Me: "I would like to mail this package out to LA, please." Shell Guy: "How would you like it to be shipped?" Me: "I don't know, what are my options?" Shell Guy: "Well, you can ship it by Express, which will get there in 2 days, for $60. Or you can ship it by Priority for $30." Me: "I think Priority. How fast will it get there?" Shell Guy: "In 2 days." Me: "Oh, then what is the difference between Express and Priority?" Shell Guy: "Express is $60 and will get there in 2 days. Priority is $30." Me: "But Priority will get there in 2 days as well, right? So why is Express so much more?" Shell Guy: "Express costs more, because it will get there in 2 days." Me: "So, Express gets there in 2 days and costs $60. Priority will also get there in 2 days, but cost $30?" Shell Guy: "Right. Express will get there in 2 days." This conversation goes on for another 10 minutes like this. I still don't know what is the difference between Express and Priority, with the exception of $30. I may never know. There may not be any difference - it's just one of those things that are there to confuse me. Getting a little worried about the Express/Priority situation (and because I didn't feel like paying $30 to ship this package), I ask the guy if there were any other service - any CHEAPER services, and he recommended sending it by Parcel Post for $16...and so the "whose on first" schtick starts all over again: Me: "When will my package get there?" Shell Guy: "In 7 days" Me: "Oh good! Will that be 7 business days, or 7 calendar days?" Shell Guy: "Well, it will get there in 7 days from today." Me: "Ah. I see. So will that be 7 days including Sunday and Saturday, or 7 days excluding Sunday and Saturday?" Shell Guy: "Whatever is 7 days." Me: "Ah. Thank you for clarifying. But I'm trying to find out, is that 7 days including the weekend? So does this mean my cousins will receive the package next Saturday, or next Wednesday?" Shell Guy: "Whatever is in 7 days." Me: "Yes, I see that. But is it 7 days including the weekends? As the USPS isn't open on Sundays, and only have half days on Saturdays." Shell Guy: "It's 7 days from today." Me: "........." The upside is that this place is open until 5pm on Saturdays for slackers like me. There is also a Baskin Robbin's in the same store, as well as the usual convenience store items, so if I needed car air-fresheners or a cone of rocky-road as I'm mailing something out, I would be pretty set just by coming here. However, I am now saddled with two riddles that would even perplexed the Spinx: 1) what is the difference between Express and Priority, besides $30 and 2) is Parcel Post delivered in 7 business days, or 7 calendar days?!? The world may never know. read more

They charge an extra 25 dollars for a juul device. I watched a nice lady get completely ripped off. I informed her they were gouging her but she was rushing to work and had no other choice. Sad read more

Cheaper gas with a random location which I assume aids in keeping the prices lower than other Shell stations. I believe the prices are also cheaper if you pay with cash. Extremely well lit if you're looking to fill up extremely late in the evening They usually have their squeegees with windshield cleaning solution if it's not below freezing. Probably the cleanest Shell station you'll ever stop at. Restrooms are pretty clean. The convenience store is well stocked with your random goodies. They also have a Dunkin Donuts inside if you stop in before they do service-window only. read more

Gas here is 5-10 cents higher compared to other stations on Rte 355. Has a clean well run Dunkin Donuts and limited hours post office booth. Staff is rude hence the knock off of 2 stars. read more

This is an excellent location! Def the best shell in the area. It looks good, price is good, as a nice shop that's open 24 hours and has things most gas stations don't carry ;) read more

Convenient and not busy gas station. They are slow when it comes to reducing the prices and too quick to increase for a premium grade. There is nothing else about this station, so they get 3*** read more

First let me say that I LOVE this place...I mean, who wouldn't? You can gas up, mail a letter -- get that cup of Joe and a donut all in one fell swoop! My only complaint is checking out at the Shell counter. I'm one of the earlier birds that arrives not long after they open, and inevitably either the registers aren't open yet or they cannot make change for a $20. Um, come on folks...people still purchase with cash and the last time I checked, twenty dollar bills were still considered viable currency. On the Dunkin' side...gotta give props to Anna! She is a breath of fresh air, especially at five a.m.! read more

I have been in several time to buy a soda, energy drink or what have you. Every time, and I know as soon as anyone reads every time there is the though I'm embellishing but you'll have to trust me on this one. Every time I have seen an ad on the glass windows of the soda displays for a "Buy 2 for $x.xx" I've picked up two and gone to the registers. I don't have any problem with the register attendants. They ring me up and I'm out of there in a jiffy. However, and it's a big however, I'm very upset because again, like every other time that I have bought two of the promo drinks, I was charged incorrectly. Furthermore the receipt I was given is inaccurate and further makes my case. Today, I bought one Gatorade drink and two Monster lo Carb drinks because the window shows "Buy 2 (Monster Energy Drinks) for $3.50" - Sweet deal, right? Well, not only does the receipt show that I only purchased the Gatorade and one Monster drink but I was charged $4.98 for the one Monster drink. Holy Smokes, I don't know where to begin. I run several business that use the UPC barcode readers at the register. Where I conduct business, it is in violation of the law to use the scanners and have the price advertised (in this case in the window of the soda case) be different that what it rung up at the register. I'm sure there is some violation that the regular price of just one Monster Lo Carb is not $4.98 and yet the register shows I bough 1 Lo Carb at $4.98 and that I, in fact, purchased three drinks not one Monster and one Gatorade. It's not a money thing...I mean, lets be real. In these economic times, money is tight for everyone and everywhere. I'm not writing this e-mail looking for my $1.48 back. That's not the point. If that's what I wanted, I'd go back to the store tonight and demand a refund. The point is I had faith that this would be correct every time and it's not. My faith in their registers and gas pumps has been shattered. It enrages me that I'm being taken advantage of, who knows how many times. One could ask the question, why haven't I said something sooner. All I can say is I have reached this point in my frustration and annoyance with the issue to say something. I can't prove that it's every happened before. I can prove it happened today and I'm going to try again tomorrow and see what the results are then. Simple "What if" math - 10 people a day buy the 2 for deal * $1.48 *365 days a year = $5,400 Wow is right... read more
