The reviews don't lie this place is awesome. By far the busiest food truck we saw. The menu is not limited to just Indian, they also have tacos, burritos, and salads. It is so nice because you know you're getting healthy vegan food. Everything we ordered came out hot, and delicious. This place is a quick walk from from the HooDoo hotel (it's there, trust me, just keep walking all the way to the end of the street). During our visit they were doing an Indian menu with donation for pay. The flavors were excellent (especially liked the "tuna" sandwich) and not bland like we've encountered a lot in Moab. We were passing through Moab and decided to find this food truck that we'd heard about on social media. We were definitely glad we did because everyone was super friendly and the plant-based food we ate was super delicious. We tried the broccoli curry, the jackfruit curry, lentil dal, and the samosas. My wife talked me into trying this spot. I was hesitant because I'm not a vegan and I'm suspicious sometimes. I really liked it and will go again. We got the curry sampler plate, a roti and a samosa and we shared it. I would recommend doing the same to anyone else trying this place for the first time. The jackfruit curry was probably my favorite, but I loved the strong flavors of everything. Fun and funky experience hidden down a back alley in Moab. MoabKitchen is seriously one of a kind. It was suggested to us by a friendly stranger on the trail, and believe it or not we ran into this friendly stranger on our way to check it out. I am quite sure I have found the best food in Moab. This hidden gem is located in a lot at the far west end of Center Street, about a block behind the Rio. Tired of all our usual spots being overrun with tourists, we decided to give this new place a try for Father's day lunch. My husband and I split several things on the menu, all which were as good or better than what you would find at a five star farm to table restaurant in a big city. This tastes very authentic. That being said, if you can't handle the spice, stay out of the Moab Kitchen! The plate option was big, has all the curries, and delicious. The mango lemonade is tart and definitely not for some children. My son (7) hated it, but my daughter (2) did not mind. My husband was partially happy with his meal (I forgot what they're called, but they're like a wrap), only because it's scorched his mouth, and made it difficult to enjoy much else. Eat here! Just trust me! The food absolutely amazing! Don't let the fact that that it's a food truck scar you off. It's located in a permanent position with both indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating is in what appears to be a repurposed garage, it's a very cool space. We tried the curries, samosas, roti, and the chia pudding. Everything was superb. Love love loved Moab Kitchen! Decor was an eclectic mix of Moroccan/South African, everyone there was so accommodating and the food was amazing!!! As a girl who has spent 2 months in Moroccan and has therefore had her share of samosas, this one blew the rest out of the water! (If you haven't had a samosa, I would get your hands on one ASAP). We stopped here for dinner on our visit to Moab after reading the Yelp reviews. This is tucked away on a quiet street, set in a cool community space. The food is amazing! We have visited Sri Lanka before and can say this is delicious Sri Lankan food!! The samosas are fantastic! Lots of flavor, textures, and spice in every bite. What a treasure!
