According to Yelp information this place is open on Saturday, until 12:00PM. I drove across town to have a jacket zipper replaced only to find it closed. I was finally able to find the shop open. A lady there repaired a zipper to a Harley Davidson jacket. She did a good job but used a cheap gold zipper. Since the jacket previous zipper was a heavy duty silver zipper Common sense would say replace it with a heavy duty silver zipper. Nope, replaced with a cheap gold zipper. read more

They would've had five stars however, communication is sometimes a challenge and their Voicemail doesn't always work properly. I was able to use some of my Spanish skills and I felt totally comfortable leaving my Ted Baker pants for alterations. $12 is a great deal to me for the work they completed and I was as satisfied as a bride in her 3rd wedding dress (third times the charm)! They are located in a little strip mall and the Mexican restaurant at the end is always filled with patrons (note to self: self, we need to stop by). The ladies and been very friendly and pleasant. I watched them at work while I was waiting and they definitely have the skills and abilities to make your wardrobe fit better than OJ Simpson's glove! My only sad moment was the "Cash Only" sign. I love patronizing local small businesses - and this quaint tailoring shop is no exception. I had a cushion from one of my outdoor chairs. The end seams on the cushion were ripping out due to sun exposure - but the fabric still looked nice. All I could see were $$'s if I took it to a traditional Upolstery recovering shop ... so after reading reviews on Yelp - I brought it here. $8 later ... I have a repaired cushion that looks perfect. How wonderful! This is "my place" now to take anything that needs repairs. Easy, perfect and I love the women that work tirelessly at this shop. read more

I took in three pair of jeans to be hemmed and I picked them up and they had one single stitch on the bottom. I had asked them to just match up the hemming at the bottom and if you've ever had a pair of jeans, you know it's double stitched. If you're an alteration business, I would think this would be alterations 101. So if you are getting jeans hemmed and you want the bottom to look like the jeans you purchased you better say something to them and make it very clear. read more

Took in 6 vest and all 6 were cut straight instead of with the angles vest are supposed to have the lady told me that the lady who took the measurements said "it was ok to cut them straight" I didn't say that. Then when I got home I found out that 4 of the vest are 1/2 inch longer on one side than the other. Completely butchered my clothes. I can't even donate them now they they are uneven AND AFTER ALL THAT they tried to increase their prices to almost double. read more

One of my friends referred me to MJ's. I brought my boyfriend's shirt here and they did such an awesome job! The shirt was one of those extra long "jersey" t-shirts, which looked like a dress on him (my boyfriend is 5'11). I needed the shirt length to be altered and wanted the scoop to be removed, so that it would look like a regular t-shirt. He thought the shirt looked great and I didn't see any flaws in the stitches upon inspection. They even repositioned the tag that was on the front of the shirt. I had a jacket that was way too long and needed it shortened. I went to about 4 other alteration shops and they all told me that due to the elastic band on the bottom and the jacket having a zipper, that they could not do it unless they could completely get rid of the zipper and band. I went to MJs alterations and they told me that the band and zipper was no issue at all and the cost they quoted me was about half what the others quoted. I went to go pick up my jacket the following week and the alterations were so well done and professional. My new favorite jacket is now at a perfect length at such an affordable cost. read more
