The Laquinta location I usually go to and the lady there is very very nice but the owner Jonat is not very nice and he choose the people he is nice too I don't think that is right and if you own a business like that you should make an effort to do better than that read more

Be careful! They will scam you! I went to Jonathon's Cleaners back in April to get the hem let out on a pair of pants, in the leg. I paid $24 for that. I wore them twice and the hem came out on one of the legs. I brought them back in the beginning of June to get them fixed. When I went to pick them up, they wanted to charge $6 for them to fix a mistake they made. She said if I came back within a month there would've been no charge. It's not like I was coming back a year later, it was less than 2 months! They lost a regular customer over only $6. read more

Prices are ridiculous high. Prices are not posted should have been a sign, I had them give me a total cost of dry cleaning. Crazy high. I wanted next day or 2 day dry cleaning on 3 items. (Slacks, dress shirt, and long dress). $49. We down the street and got job done for $27. read more

I'm headed in to pick up my alterations, and I'm so excited to be able to finally wear my dresses I bought a couple of months ago. The reviews here are actually what brought me here, they were glowing reviews! Even if there was a bad review, the management responded with courtesy, and accounting of how the issue was handled, and invited the customer to check back in. I'm currently on a walker, and was concerned about being able to try each dress on so they could see first hand what needed to be altered. While kind of cramped, it all worked out very well! I don't remember the name of the lady that fitted me, but she was pleasant, kind, and very helpful with suggestions. Well, here we go! I really love them for dry cleaning and also for alterations, and my praise really does say something because anyone will tell you, one thing about me, I am picky. Things that are important that Jonathan's surpasses in performance: 1) Scent of the clothes--none which is how it should be. 2) Quality--no broken buttons, no wrinkles, whites are not yellowed, stains almost always removed, no double-bagging, clothes seem to come out looking newer than when I brought them in. So I had a situation. I felt I was over-charged for one designer dress. I spoke to a good friend of mine and she reminded me that it is worth more money to know that the special item, expensive to replace, is going to be given extra care. I dropped off a brand new dress that I had never worn before to get cleaned because it had cat pee on it. I remember specifically asking them if they could get it out. They said yes. When I picked it up, it's still smelled like cat pee. They also removed the tag off of it, that I told them not to remove, it was a $400 dress from house of cb. the boss came over and told me that, I would have to wash it to get out the smell, Even though the dress is dry clean only. Kicking myself for returning to this shyster after having problems in the past with being gouged for items that weren't even cleaned properly. This time, I was charged three times the price to dry clean the cost of what the scarves cost new! And of course, the woman at the desk never disclosed the prices when I dropped them off as I never would have agreed to that. Then, when my husband went to pick everything up, the woman at the desk ripped the credit card from his hands and ran it without his approval. When my husband nicely asked to adjust the price, the prick of an owner refused. I guess this self-impressed jerk is really hard up for money as he treats customers like crap and apparently, gouges everyone from all the bad reviews. Just read the way he responds to people. We have been using their services every week since we moved here almost 2 years ago, and have been consistently impressed with their workmanship, customer service, pricing and attention to detail. Maria always greets us with a smile, and always knew who we were, even when everyone was masked up. They turn the cleaning around quickly but without cutting corners on quality. I've used them to get the waist taken in on two pairs of pants / shorts and they came out perfect both times. Incredibly friendly service and clean place. I took a new light colored cashmere sweater to Jonathan's because I wanted it to be cleaned with care. When I dropped it off I asked if they measured garments because I didn't want it to be stretched. The attendant said that they had never had a problem. When I picked it up, it was covered in pills, my light lavender sweater was a muddy grayish purple, and the chest that had measured 24 was now 28 inches stretched out. This was a $300.00 sweater. I told the attendant right away. There was no owner or manager available. For 2 months I have repeatedly left phone messages or stopped by both the store in La Quinta and Palm Desert. I have never received a call back, or been able to speak to a manager about the damage done to my sweater. I would be happy to speak with them if they are available. In response to "Jonathan's response". He never called me. I took my sweater to another cleaner in AZ, and they removed the dingy color and restored the shape. As you can see he did not offer to see me, talk to me, or even look at the sweater. I do not recommend this cleaner. read more

QUESTION: Do you like replacing a zipper with a used one in the wrong color? Love rude service and being charged $17.50 to dry clean a blouse? If so, you'll love Jonathan's Cleaners! I brought a beautiful pair of pants in for a new zipper. Got back black pants with a blue zipper that had been ripped from something else (little holes in it). Plus, the zipper stuck. Brought it back thinking they'd just fix it (being charitable?), and I (mistakenly) also gave them a nice silk blouse to clean. Whoops! Got back the pants, zipper was fine (even opened!), but there's a pucker in the pocket next to the zipper. After taking it back to steam out the pucker (didn't work), Jonathan (owner) says, "I don't see the pucker" (methinks he did since he went back to fix it). Choice: I could leave it again (3rd time) and see if they could fix it (obviously can't trust them). Then they want $17.50 for cleaning my blouse (I don't know about you, but that seems excessive). No thank you, no "I'm sorry that happened," no "let us do something nice for you." Instead, when I suggested that they might want to do something on the blouse, Jonathan treats me like I'm a grifter (obviously a rich one if I can afford $17.50 for a blouse). Just snaps, "take it all and get it fixed someplace else and take the blouse and we'll call it even." It's not even. It's not nice. It's not good business. It's not trustworthy. I just saw your response- like I said "stop whining" and admit you were out of line and arrogant about it- man up! Why do you think you have so many bad reviews about your store and tailoring department? Because they are not good and the alterations are overpriced and not very good....read your reviews. I forgot to mention that during the hot weather months- June through September your La Quinta store was like an oven- I don;t know how you keep your employees because of the conditions they work in at the store- you are rarely there. Most likely it's because you can't take the heat. You need to spend some money for fans and air conditioning like the other cleaners in town- your store is like a sweat shop for the people that work there as well as the customers. read more

I recently took a suit, some dress shirts, amd a nike hoodie that had a bad coffie stain on the front to Jonathan's cleaners. The lady at the front desk was so nice and when I tild hwr thta the suit was for a daddy daughter dance ahe assured me that they would do thre best. I shiwed the the hiddie and she amiled and said no problem well take care of rhat too. So fast forward to pickup up day and WOW!!!! My cloths looked better tgan when I bought them. The owner checked me out and he was just as nice as the lady drom the 1st day, and the price was cheaper than what I expected. I left with my stuff and was so happy that they helped me look the my best.. If you want timely, good pricing, service with a smile then this is the place.
