The alterations we needed to be made we're on short notice because of a death in the family and Chantel was able to get it done the same day for us which was very much appreciated the price was exactly what she quoted and it was very simple and convenient for us read more

It has taken me far too long to write this review. Chantel absolutely saved my wedding. After a previous tailor essentially ruined my dress, Chantel came in and turned it all around. I know the job was hard but I appreciated all the care and time she took to walk me through the process and correct all the mistakes the previous tailor caused. My dress was originally 12 sizes too big for me, Chantel made it seem like the dress was made for me. I felt beautiful and that's so important on your wedding day. I can't thank her enough. She did such a fabulous job that my sister/maid of honor also used her to hem her dress! Please don't hesitate to use her services, she takes so much pride in her work and is amazing at what she does! read more

Chantel altered a dress for me for a wedding last minute and she saved the day and got it back to me really fast. I was uncomfortable with how high the two slits were but I liked the dress color & pattern and it went with my nieces theme colors, so I didn't want to give up on it. It was a really cheap dress and I wasn't even sure if it could be altered. She altered it flawlessly and couldn't even tell it was altered. It looked like it was made that way. I also asked if she could sew up the top so it didn't show as much cleavage and she was able to do that too. I like my dresses to be more on the modest side. Now I know if there's a dress I really like I can buy it with confidence that Chantel can make it to the modesty I like. I would definitely have her do more dresses for me. read more

Chantel was absolutely phenomenal. I was a groomsmen at a wedding and needed a suit jacket and pant altered. Extremely smooth drop off for and very fast return. The quality was unmatched and I received so many compliments at the wedding at how things fit me. The best part? It was extremely comfortable and breathable. I've gone to many alteration services that made alterations look decent but it was always a bit uncomfortable when sitting down or when doing certain movements. With Chantel's alterations, she kept all of those things in mind and made it fit perfectly as if she accounted for all movements. I am very impressed and am building up a basket full of things I want to alter with her! Lastly, the price was extremely affordable! I've paid more at many different places for a lot less work. Thank you Chantel! read more

She did 6 pairs of pants all hemmed perfectly. It took no time at all to measure and they were in my hands 3 days later. She's awesome

Chantel's Alterations was fabulous and very professional. We had a gown and a suit that needed altering at the very last minute before an event. (The gown was more difficult than expected but she knew how to hem it.) She was able to do both items in a very short time and it was perfect. Highly recommend her and you won't be disappointed. read more

Chantel is the best Alterations's specialist in the Coachella Valley. I am shorter in stature and many of my tops, pants, and dresses need to be shortened. I have also lost some weight recently and we have been able to make many of the clothes that were a bit big work. As a former clothes designer, she will also give you an honest opinion on whether certain styles work on your body type. I have used quite a few alterations shops in the valley and am very happy to have found Chantel's alterations! read more

I forgot to make this review but I found Chantel on yelp when a friend needed an alteration quickly for the Palm Springs Film Festival. Chantel not only for us in super fast but did the work same day! Amazing. Helpful. Super kind. Can't wait for her to do some more projects. read more

Chantel came through for us in a pinch! We had a wedding of our last remaining single son in Texas to attend in a few days. I bought a black suit and took it to her. Simultaneously, my son found a blue suit that we tried unsuccessfully to find locally. He sent two to me, not knowing which would fit best. It turns out the coat for one, and the pant for the other worked best. Chantel, altered the black and one blue suit for me in record speed. The suits fit beautifully and I played the part of a happy father of the groom. Chantel is an amazing, talented person. She is not only a delight to meet and see some of her personal art work, but you realize early on that she has the eye to see what needs to be fixed and the skills on how to do it. She's refreshingly candid without being judgmental, something this slightly out of shape old guy appreciated. Her prices are quite fair and she's earned our loyalty. I only wish there was a Yes! By the "would you recommend", instead of the simple yes. Thank you Chantel! read more

Great alterations, fast response and turn around. Home business, call her she's very skilled!

I found Chantel here on Yelp, and the 5 star ratings are legit. She met with me the day after I called and was pleasant and professional. I had a dress that needed the bra cups removed and replaced with bigger cups. She not only did that, but suggested several other improvements that resulted in the dress fitting me like a glove. She had a one day turn around time, and she was inexpensive. I will definitely be returning to her for all my alteration needs! read more

I needed to get my husband's jeans hemmed before a trip we were taking in a couple of days. Chantel fit us in the same day that I called and hemmed them while we waited. It just so happened that she had the time available and was very accommodating and nice. The cost was extremely reasonable and she's a true professional. She does high end alterations for celebrities and simple stuff like hems. Can't recommend Chantel enough! read more
