Beautiful to go bags
Tina J.

Ordered to go and everything was packaged so beautifully, just like last time. Glad to see it is the same. The interior decor of the restaurant is lovely. Service was friendly, but slow, as the order was not ready on time. We tried the Mongolian Beef, Wagyu fried rice, edamame and a couple other items. The Mongolian beef was delicious and tender, I definitely plan to order that again in the future. The Waygu beef was very chewy, that's something I would skip next time. If you want a soup and enjoy eggs, their egg drop soup is tasty. Plenty of parking spaces too, it's in a shopping center.

Birthday Dinner Three Cup Chicken (clay pot simmered chicken w/ sesame, ginger, garlic, chiles, & fresh Thai basil)

First class Asian fusion place. Toby's pick is usually something Asian, usually Korean, but tonight she thought I might like this spot because it was less traditional than some places in the are. Oh, lords, was she right. I loved the three cup chicken with all its garlic flavor and hearty chunks of chicken served piping hot in a clay pot. This is a dish I wish every Chinese or Asian fusion place served. I don't have many go-to dishes like this so I immediately latch on to one when I do find one out in the wild. Scotch's drunken noodles weren't bad either. The service was amazing. I love when servers check on you just enough with courtesy and, when you do make a request, they make sure to fulfill it with efficacy. I know everyone gets busy and I don't fault them for having multiple tables to check, but it makes me feel special when I feel like my wants are somewhat of a priority. That's good customer service if you can make all your stations feel like that. The ambiance was great--modern and sleek but meeting with some kickass classic Asian restaurant elements. This feels like a place that's trying to make it clear they make some bombass food here in the old style but they're not stuffy about it. It feels welcoming and warm, but overall just alive. And that's the kind of place you should always want to eat in. In conclusion, eat here. The food is great and it makes you glad you came as soon as you sit down.

Crab Fried Rice with Curry

is a modern Asian fusion restaurant with multiple locations in the Denver metro area, including Denver, Lone Tree, and Broomfield. The restaurant is known for its "elevated" take on traditional Chinese recipes, often described as a modern dim sum or tapas-style experience that blends authentic flavors with a chic, contemporary atmosphere. Restaurant Details Miya Moon (Denver) offers an upscale but approachable dining environment that has quickly gained popularity for its high-quality ingredients and precise preparation. * Vibe and Experience: The atmosphere is often described as "hopping" and vibrant, particularly on weekends. While the space is intimate, the service is generally noted for making guests feel welcome, though some patrons have noted that handmade items can take a bit longer as they are steamed to order. * Pricing: Generally considered "not that expensive" for the quality provided, with a solid selection of liquor and cocktails to complement the meal. Overall, Miya Moon is highly recommended for those looking for a "modern" Chinese dining experience that moves away from traditional cart-style dim sum in favor of a more polished, made-to-order approach.

Stir-Fried Udon

This restaurant is a standout in the area. My husband and I came with a friend and we all shared: - Salt & Pepper Asparagus - Chicken Peanut Curry - Stir-Fried Udon - Crab Fried Rice & Curry - Walnut Shrimp - Spare Ribs The entree portions are huge, so don't order this much food unless you want leftovers. This was enough food for 5 people. My favorite things were the asparagus, shrimp, and udon. I really enjoyed everything though. I'd definitely recommend sharing food to try more things. I'd happily go back to try more of the menu.

Chicken Egg Rolls

I ordered the three-cup chicken (which is not officially on the menu) with fried rice. I also ordered wonton soup. For my beverage, I enjoyed a wonderful pot of oolong tea. The ambience was pretty chill, and the servers were very accommodative. The wonton soup was very flavorful, and the three-cup chicken was simply amazing in texture, seasoning, and presentation. The chicken egg rolls were phenomenal. Definitely a fine establishment to enjoy Chinese cuisine. I did not have a reservation; I was seated immediately.

Three words HONEY WALNUT SHRIMP. What a cute presentation, and the taste was awesome. I loved the other items form this place too but my fav by far was the black pepper steak. Honestly could eat that every day. Great service and delicious food.

Located in a strip mall, so plenty of parking available all around. Not too busy on a week night, we did not have nor need reservations this time. Service was fantastic. Our server Kiel was very friendly, helpful with recommendations, and attentive. Drinks - the golden lotus and old fashion were solid options. Food came out quickly and portions are good, albeit a bit on the pricier side. For tapas, I recommend the crab rangoons and potstickers. We also got the chili wontons and spring rolls, which were fine, but I would try other tapas next time. For entrees we got the sesame chicken and drunken noodles with beef. The sesame chicken was tasty, though the breading is different than what you would normally see, not spicy at all. I would skip the drunken noodles next time, not a ton of flavor there. As others have mentioned, the to-go containers and bag are beautiful and can definitely be reused, a very nice touch. Overall we had a great experience!

Miya Moon is my go to restaurant for upscale Chinese takeout! I'm a big fan of their beef with broccoli, orange chicken, pork potstickers, wonton soup, and hot and sour soup. Their food is made with fresh, quality ingredients and you can tell that sauces are flavored with real fruit juice. Nothing artificial here! They also have the cutest packaging set up for takeout that includes reusable Tupperware and a reusable hot bag. We definitely keep the Tupperware for regular use at the house. The only reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is that I have ordered online in the past and my food has not been ready when I showed up. If you place an online order, I recommend calling the restaurant to ensure it was received, or you can just call the order in. I have not dined in, but the space is beautiful and it will be so cute for a date or get together with friends! They have clearly marked gluten-free and vegan dishes on the menu. They serve beer, wine, cocktails, and sake.

Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and the atmosphere was lively and a lot of fun. We had a reservation, but our table was delayed about 30 minutes because they had to close the patio due to the rain. The hostess recommended that we grab a drink at the bar while we waited. The bar area and the bartenders had the same great energy and we really didn't mind the delay as a result. Once we were seated, the manager, Dan, stopped by and surprised us with complimentary appetizers because of the delay. It was unexpected and it was a nice touch to welcome us to the restaurant. The food on the menu is mostly tapas-style. We were not sure what to order so we let our waitress choose for us, and she absolutely nailed it. Every dish she selected was fantastic, as were the choices in wine, and it made the whole experience even better. She was very thoughtful in asking us questions about stuff we liked and didn't like before she ordered, and also didn't try to oversell us on stuff or select the highest priced items. She genuinely wanted to make our food and drink experience great, and she did a great job of doing it. From the atmosphere and service to the food and hospitality, it was a memorable night. BRUTØ Denver: A Culinary Love Letter to Innovation, Craft, and a Little Bit of Magic - WORTH EVERY…read morePENNY. Denver's dining scene is no stranger to ambition, but BRUTØ stands comfortably in a category all its own. Nestled in the Dairy Block, this intimate tasting-menu experience is not simply dinner; it is culinary storytelling presented course by course, with equal parts precision, creativity, and heart. From the moment the first canapé arrives, it becomes clear that BRUTØ is less interested in following trends and more committed to creating an experience. The menu dances between the familiar and the unexpected, transforming ingredients into something that feels simultaneously rooted and revolutionary. A simple corn tortilla becomes an exploration of nixtamalization and grain preservation. Guava, papaya, cacao, plantains, and yucca are elevated into sophisticated compositions that celebrate the rich culinary traditions of Central and South America while pushing firmly into modern gastronomy. One of the evening's greatest accomplishments is its balance. Technical excellence is everywhere: fermentation, dry aging, creative preservation techniques, but never at the expense of flavor. Every dish serves a purpose. Every ingredient has a voice. The Guanabana and Caviar course is a standout example. What could easily become an exercise in luxury instead becomes a lesson in restraint, with the bright tropical notes of charred guanabana and avocado mousse allowing the caviar to shine without overpowering the palate. Equally memorable is the Barramundi preparation, where fermentation and careful preservation create layers of complexity that unfold with each bite. It is thoughtful cooking that rewards attention. The Beef and Yucca course may be the menu's emotional centerpiece. A beautifully aged strip loin paired with silky yucca purée demonstrates that modern cuisine does not need to abandon comfort. The dish is both intellectually interesting and deeply satisfying; a rare achievement. And then there is dessert. The Chocolate and Papaya finale delivers a masterful combination of fermented cacao, coffee, spice, and tropical fruit. Rather than ending the evening with sweetness alone, it concludes the narrative of the menu, leaving guests with one final reminder that BRUTØ excels at creating harmony from contrasts. It may bring a tear to your eye. What makes BRUTØ truly exceptional, however, is not simply the food. It is the philosophy behind it. Sustainability is woven into every aspect of the experience. Preservation techniques are not gimmicks but purposeful tools that minimize waste and maximize flavor. The restaurant's commitment to utilizing ingredients thoughtfully creates a dining experience that feels both modern and responsible. The beverage pairings deserve special recognition as well. Rather than playing a supporting role, they function as co-authors of the meal. Each pairing is intentional, often introducing guests to surprising combinations that amplify the story being told on the plate. Perhaps most exciting is the energy currently radiating from the kitchen. Great restaurants are living, breathing entities, and BRUTØ feels as though it is entering an exciting new chapter. There is fresh creativity, renewed momentum, and an unmistakable confidence emerging from the culinary team. If this trajectory continues, and based on this experience, there is every reason to believe it will, Denver may very well be witnessing the evolution of a restaurant poised for even greater recognition. In an era where many tasting menus can feel performative or overly precious, BRUTØ remains refreshingly authentic. It is professional without being pretentious, innovative without being inaccessible, and ambitious without losing sight of why people gather around a table in the first place: to be delighted. Dining at BRUTØ is not simply a meal. It is a journey through craft, culture, and imagination. A beautifully orchestrated evening that lingers long after the final course.

The kitchen, 18-seat dining area and foyer are all one open, neo-industrial space in which concrete and steel are somewhat softened by lighting and splashes of color from food or dishware. They have two groups of seating per evening, one around 5pm and the other at 8pm, which they stagger into 3 groups each so food can be batched and presented appropriately. Everything is thoughtfully curated and choreographed, from the beverage selection to the portions of the plating that you get to see between courses. But the choreography does feel a bit stiff and cold at times. While the maitre'd was lovely, it was harder to engage with the other staff. I generally avoid alcohol pairings (my taste buds get overstimulated after the first few rounds), but I did enjoy my cocktail from the a la carte menu. Through our 7 course tasting menu, we explored a fun fusion of local and Central American cuisines. The bread mentioned in previous reviews is gone, but we traveled from ocean, plains, and forest in various presentations of small plates. Some of the bites seemed less inspired (of course adding pate and caviar is going to feel fancy), but other courses like the red snapper ceviche and chocolate + papaya dessert were playful, tart, and funky. You can tell that sustainability is also a huge part of the consciousness here. Be open minded to different flavor and texture profiles and know that not every dish is meant to please everyone. We ended our meal with a copy of the evening's menu as well as a satchet of house-made spices meant to evoke the essence of this Costa Rican fusion. I appreciated the effort that went into each course's preparation, but I don't know that I would pay for another experience even with a different menu.
