Absolutely god awful service using their app to order. Order was placed at 11:54am. It's now almost 1;54 am and the food has still not arrived. They contract with DoorDash. I called the driver he said he hadn't even picked up the food, but the text said he arrived at my house. You have to go through Mixt customer service and they do no follow up, the just go by what's on the app, which isn't true. I followed up with their customer service rep over 30 minutes ago and still don't have a response and have not received a refund. I order from the all the time and the portions have been getting smaller and this is the worst delivery problem I've ever had and I use all the apps. read more

Love coming to MIXT, one of my staples working in the financial district. Typically go with the Orchard (5 stars). Tried the Falef today as I am on a vegan cleanse and was very disappointed. Giving 4 stars because many of the other salads on the menu are incredible but this one just didn't do the trick. Falafel was very crunchy and was not a fan of the after taste of the lemon tahini dressing. Will still be going back for the orchard, bachelor, Caesar, and equinox! read more

Why are they so popular???? Like I really don't understand it. They're about $13-$15 a salad which is way too much for what you're getting. My coworker and I both ordered the Ritual salad with no rice. Hers came with dressing on the side and she got more in her salad than I did. Bad online ordering experience and poor customer support. Trying to order online took forever and failed twice. I gave up and went to the store and bought a salad, I then found out later I'd been charge for the salad when the app had failed. I contacted them and they said on email they would give me a refund. I had to call them and couldn't get through, eventually I spoke to someone who took my card details and told me I would receive a refund and a receipt. One week later I have received neither and not had a response to a follow up email asking if I will receive my refund I was told I would get. This is very poor customer service. read more

This review is specifically for Doordash delivery. For some reason, MIXT disables menu modifications beyond adding items. It's a huge annoyance for people with food allergies/sensitivities. Being able to click to exclude items would be a godsend. Of course, you can always create your own, but it's a hassle and this feature is available at comparable restaurants. I got the Aspen seasonal salad and it wasn't my favorite. The roasted Brussels sprouts were large and TOUGH - would have loved for them to be cut into smaller pieces. The dressing was also quite light (and if you want more, MIXT charges $0.58). An underwhelming experience for the price. You might have a better experience in-store, but if you're ordering delivery, I wouldn't recommend it. read more

I love this place, usually great food, today I got a build your own salad and I had asked for champagne dressing, well apparently they put balsamic vinaigrette on it and when I asked for an apple extra champagne they gave me champagne. I normally don't complain but when you pay $20 for a salad you should get what you ask for. I didn't notice the mistake till I got home and fighting traffic to get it fixed was not going to happen. I was charged $18 for a little amount in my bowl after I asked nicely for it to be as I always order it. I was charged extra for the ingredients it already contains such as the cabbage and the bowl is missing ingredients too. I need a refund and or a free salad for the amount of times I have purchased here. Ridiculous. A few pointers for you MIXT train your employees well especially young disrespectful ones, serve the right portions always stop changing it!!! I've always ordered from Mixt regularly when I was in my office by their Yerba Buena location, but since SIP has been in effect I had to order delivery from this location. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this order... Salad pretty much came with no dressing. I ordered their Chicken Caesar salad with the normal amount of dressing and seemed like the dressing was watered down and the usual amazing salad was very tasteless. I understand if business is slower than normal but to create and serve a skimpy sad salad, I probably could of gotten a tastier salad at Safeway and at half the price. I dont mind paying for their $20 salads but what I received from this location was pathetic and makes me never want to order their salads again for delivery. read more

This is my favorite go to spot for healthy salad. They have a large variety of fresh vegetables to choose from. They have a DIY menu option so you can select a salad anyway you want it. They have battered, fried cauliflower that's delicious and comes with a delicious ranch dip. read more

Today, Sunday evening. The employees here look so unhappy and just fed up w something. One guy angrily mixt my 16 dollar equinox salad, and he just looked soo unhappy. And another woman at the register looking also very unhappy. When i asked for a bag, she also angrily opened the bag for me with much attitude. Damn, i just wondered, the management must suck and make them miserable, or maybe did the staff have a fight? I always tip even if im just taking food out, but i just couldnt give them anything. They were so rude. Contrary to prior expectations, I did not walk out of that store like a happy stock image salad girl today. Not to mention, the produce used at this location is not very fresh. The vegetables are mushy in that old food kind of way. The flavors are just not there. I could probably way better. In comparison, I prefer other salad joints like Tendergreen. I am going to hypothesize it is bad poor upper management. Choose employees who are kind, and treat employees kindly and don't overwork them, so they are happy, and more people come to eat. If more people come to eat, vegetables won't be left old and soggy. And the yelp page for this business is especially full of fake reviews. read more

I went here today for the first time! I had the Orchard salad. At first I was a little confused but one of the employees helped me out finding something yummy. (Pictured below) It was so delicious! I definitely recommend the Orchard salad with extra avocado for sure. Everyone that works at this location was very sweet and there very helpful as I mentioned above there are a lot of different options for what to get. The store is really hip and fun and even has a lounge that you can kinda kick back and hang out in or more traditional seating in the front. The store is very clean and someone was always constantly cleaning not only the serving bar but the whole store in general. I definitely will return the next time I come to San Fransisco and look forward to the one they are opening out in Los Angeles. I'm not huge on "healthy food" but this place was sooo good. The orchard salad is my go-to if I am eating meat, and typically a "build your own" for when I am living the herbivore life. The kale here is incredible, the size of the salad is beyond ample, and I've always had very good, helpful preparers. Really enjoyed the Beetnik salad but thought the sandwich was very average for the price, didn't have allot of ingredients and were surprised several cubes of chicken sufficed for the protein. Two days later we were invited by new friends for dinner and again ordered the Beetnik to bring. It was like a totally different salad. It looked different, was at least 1/3 smaller, and the note to put the nuts on the side (in case our friends had allergies) was disregarded. Salads are one of my favorite meals to eat. Having someone prepare them for me is even better. Mixt did both and probably tripled the portion size. Our bowl was large enough for my husband and I to share for at least 15-20 min of eating. We were thoroughly satisfied with the freshness of the ingredients and surprised it kept us full for a few hours. The line was long when we arrived but that allowed us time to read through the menu since it was our first time visiting. Once we stepped up to the counter the service and prep time was quick. All the salads I observed during our sit down looked just as good as the next. I don't think you could go wrong with any of their options. The hardest part is choosing. I love this place! I was in the area for a week and came twice to get my much needed salad fix. Going in during lunchtime on weekdays was quick and not so busy. The staff are friendly and efficient. I did the build ur own salad, which at $10.95 is pretty affordable for these kinds of places in that area. I like how there's tons of options available and that things like avocado and goat cheese are not an up charge! Great selection of dressings/vinaigrettes and seasonal items as well. This place is is great. One of the staff Janet recommended the Cowboy Salad. It consisted of chicken, romaine lettuce, red peppers, beans and a magnificent blue cheese dressing. All ingredients were fresh. The chicken and red peppers stood out as well as the blue cheese sauce. Other staff , Vicky and Horacio were great. They provided me with other recommendations for the next time I visit. And I will. So the math is.......
