Im pretty sad how bad this place has gotten over the years. It's not worth the 19.99 a person fee for warm food. Some of it not even cooked all the way. We took a picture and showed staff but staff tried to deny it and changed the container and said they were sesame seeds, after we had just shown him the picture we took. If you're looking for a Buffet, this is a Buffet. But like most buffets, it is very generic and average. But you get what you pay for. So if you're looking for quantity over quality, you can go here. But I have learned to eat less that's way better quality and not gorge on quantity. So it all depends on your motivation. It is a Buffet after all so as far as buffets, go, it's good. My partner and I love this place. We come sometimes twice a week but always a couple times in a month. Everyone is so kind and nice here. I love their service they are very attentive and want to make sure you are well taken care of. I love the seafood they have its generally after 3pm! You can't beat their prices and the food is great! They even have a to order sushi section which is a personal favorite. They also serve alcohol and beer. My favorite drink is the kiwi margarita. You can't beat the price for $4.99! We also sometimes just stay and do our work on our laptops and never feel rushed or bothered. It's also always very clean which I know that's not the case in some places. This is a run of the mill chinese style buffet. They have a lot of seating and a positive is that the food is lined up in a linear line. Which helps with not crowding. This is a cheap option for food. Beware that this is super family friendly so there are lots of kids running around. They have a happy hour and other services so that is a plus I guess. I wouldn't bet on coming here for drinking. The service is a tad slow and some of the employees are not attentive. My friend asked a random waitor for a crab cracker because our waitor was nowhere to be seen and he was like go ask your server. Lol like he could've like been a little more chill about his tone. This is one of the worst chinese buffets I've been. I don't even know why the name is japanese at all when they serve anything but japanese food. As soon as you get in, you see a dark place (maybe so you don't see what you are eating) The maki rolls they've served it looked like it had been there for hours and the sushi is like inexistent... I did not see one with fresh fish, only the one with egg. The food in general... was like when you eat in the plane. Everything was bland and tasted almost the same. Of course, the cherry in the cake was the hair in the "Beef and Broccoli" (as you can see in the photo I posted). The soft ice cream machine was not working... Service is ok... the classic chinese girls who don't speak good English but they try their best to serve you. Something I did not like either was to see the "so called" chef, sitting in the floor behind the food carts taking a break. What??!!!... they do not have a chair in the kitchen for that, so the poor person has to sit down in the floor in front of all the customers??... come on !!! This is a filthy dirtiest buffet I have ever been. I will post the video of a roachwalkinh along the sushi bar if Yelp will allow it. The floor is totally disgraceful along with all the floors up along the walls. They are all black and very very sticky. My shoes were so sticky by the time we left. Avoid this place at all costs! Smells like mold/mildew as soon as you walk in. Tables had residue in the area we were seated at. There was a child in our party who is allergic to peanuts. Apparently a dish was cooked with peanut oil because he had an allergic reaction. The father had to run to the nearest Walgreens to pick up Benadryl. When the mother asked a server weather or not peanut oil was used, she had no idea what we were talking about. The room that was reserved for the party of 40 people was being used to storage. No one bothered to move the rug and high chairs left at a table near the entrance way of the room. Servers are horrible at refilling drinks. Wanted to get up and refill it myself a few times. The only thing I enjoyed was the seaweed salad and the coffee cake. There are other buffets in Fresno that are better for your money. read more

I am a sushi snob so I've only tried the cooked sushi here. I don't think I'll ever try their sashimi because it doesn't look fresh and it seemed dry. Upon walking in, you're greeted and sent straight to the register to pay for your meals and drinks ahead of eating, a business practice now in place to prevent dine and dashing. Smart! They seat you as quickly as you pay and you can start serving yourself straight away. We prefer going at dinnertime because they have a much wider selection than that at lunch. The hot food is kept hot/fresh throughout the night but the cold food is questionable. Some of the salad bar looked old, dried out and unpleasant. I usually go for some fresh raw oysters when I'm at a buffet like such, but the oysters in the salad bar the night we went weren't cold and SLIMY. The water pouring from the shell was no longer water, it was pure slime. Some of the sushi looked so appetizing while other rolls/nigiri looked extremely dry. The tongs in which you grab the sushi with were all dirty from the cross contamination. They had one tong for multiple rolls at a time so it was unnerving grabbing sushi with a coated tong. They DO however, take sushi orders personally if you have a preference in rolls and want something completely fresh. Thankful for that option. Customer service was nice and quick with things. Only issue is they will vacuum right next to you while your eating and I don't like the thought of dust kicking up from the carpet into my food but I guess that's just me. We did not get any utensils or napkins and there were none in the plating area. There were only chopsticks and not everyone can use chopsticks. Americanized "Chinese" Food. Having eaten Chinese food in a multitude of places in the valley, I can say that this place anything but authentic. Much of the food was not prepared the way it is traditionally made. The "orange chicken" was more like popcorn chicken, they had raw meat sitting out for customers to make their own soup and not a big deal but, sushi is Japanese and if I wanted pizza or fries... I would go somewhere else. The place is run down, furniture is damaged, some of their serving choices are unsanitary, dessert is lackluster and the servers are mediocre. read more
