I really love the area where this restaurant is but I wasn't impressed with the food... One of my favorite dishes to order is chicken wings... so I did and they were really gooey... maybe not cooked enough... they just didn't satisfy me. I am hoping it was just a bad day... I will go back to try them again. I also ordered one of the combination plates... the chow mein noodles were too chewy as well... maybe next time I can ask for pan fried noodles... I liked the vibe inside it was very relaxing and the waitress was kind and kept checking on us... The rice was good and so was the fried shrimp... I will have to go try it again hopefully it was just a bad day

This is a favorite when I meet up with old coworkers during the work week. Great food and customer service. The servers are really friendly. They are also quick getting orders and bringing out food. During lunch, it does get busy. So, it best to go when it is not the normal lunch hour. I see a lot of familiar faces that work downtown here when we would visit during the lunch hour. Definitely recommend for Chinese food on this side of town! It doesn't feel or smell dirty every time we visit. But it is hard to stay awake after returning to work after eating here. :)

This restaurant is smack in the middle of the Tower District across from Ragin Records. The taste of the food could improve. It's as bland as WGBecky's potato salad at a cookout. Honey, you got no flava. First & last time here. I didn't even finish & when the waitress asked if I wanted a to-go container she was surprised when I said, 'No'. I got a drink refill & was pleased they served Pepsi products, however I could not take my drink to-go because they don't have drink cups. Well double-boo on you. They do have Apple Pay tho. Won't be back, I know better Chinese restaurants elsewhere.

Food was very flavorful and tasty. I ordered the sizzling shrimp with vegetables and noodles. They use jumbo shrimp which was nice and fresh vegetables. Also ordered the bbq pork which was very flavorful and not dry overall good lunch

This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Fresno. Their entrees are delicious and the staff is family and very attentive to all customers. Their entrees atmosphere is enjoyable and is part of the Tower District.

Food seems a bit pricey but you actually get a fair amount for what you're paying. The golden chicken is super yummy in particular.

We were seated almost right away, which was a great start to the experience. We ordered several dim sum dishes, including the Pork Barbecue Buns, Custard Buns, Deep Fried Taro, Pork Siu-Mai, and Fried Squid, and every single item was delicious. The flavors were spot on, and everything tasted fresh and well made. The servers were also friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout our meal. Our food was for pickup and everything was ready on time and piping hot. We ordered a lot because we weren't sure of the portion sizes, but they were massive so we had leftovers for days! We ordered steamed pork buns, orange chicken, crispy sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, low mein, and Yangzhou Fried Rice. Everything was delicious and loaded with flavor. The standouts were the yangzhou fried rice which comes with shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. Loved all the meat here and big chunks of veggies. We all loved the orange chicken and the crispy fried pork especially. I tried to get my kids to sample the steam pork buns, but they wouldn't, which just meant more for me! Pillowy soft and full of tender BBQ pork, they were my fave. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Clovis!

The food the service, and the atmosph, ere were all wonderful!…read more My husband and I both had The family dinner but with different entrees. The family dinner comes with a bowl of sizzling rice soup, An egg roll a pot sticker and foil wrapped chicken. My entree was crispy beef and my husband's entree was Kung pao chicken. Start off the soup was very flavorful, Definitely not your ordinary soup that you would find in the most places to start. The egg roll was a straight veggie roll but it was crispy and flavorful. The pot sticker was probably one of the best I've had in town, The wrapper was not too thick, Silky, Slightly crispy, And the filling was light and delicious not heavy. The Foil wrapped chicken Was different than any other place in that it was lighter and not overburdened with a salty sauce. As far as the entrees, My crispy beef was amazing, So crispy, With a delicious sauce. My husband's Kung pao chicken was so tasty, Everything was fresh and the chicken was not dry. The only downside to our entrees was that they were listed as spicy, But I think you have to ask for really spicy if you look like you can't handle it or something I don't know it just wasn't spicy at all. But we will definitely return and maybe ask for real spicy next time LOL.

I called them the day before I needed the trays. The lady I spoke to was so kind and accommodating she said it was never too late to place an order. I ordered half tray of broccoli beef and one veggie chow mein she gave me my price after tax and gave me the option to pay in person or over the phone. The day of pick up was NYE 5pm my husband was the one who picked up my order under my name. He arrived promptly at 5pm and said the food wasn't ready 5mins after 5pm he said he was about to leave. Literally a 16min drive from the restaurant to my house then another 14min drive to the Nye party we were attending. Upon arrival the food was still piping hot, it smelled AMAZING and they gave sooooo much food!!! It was nearly packed in trays with foil in a box and the food was piled high. I did notice that the veggie chow mein I had ordered was a combo-chicken, beef, shrimp and veggie, no biggie!!! But the food was delicious as always!!! There was so much leftovers. I would definitely use them again for my catering needs.

There is finally a reasonably priced Chinese take-out option in town that I actually like. The Mongolian Beef featured tender, flavorful slices of meat paired with crisp, plentiful vegetables. The sauce complemented the dish rather than overwhelming it, and it was not overly greasy. The Garlic Chicken was also good, coated in a savory, slightly sweet soy glaze. The meat was soft and perfectly cooked, again accompanied by fresh, crunchy vegetables. Many of the dishes here are authentically Cantonese-style: savory, built around fresh ingredients, lightly sauced, and never excessively oily. Portions are generous as well. This stands in stark contrast to many other Chinese take-out spots I have tried, where the food leans salty, oversauced, and made with cheaper ingredients -- and becomes practically inedible once it cools down. Judging by the simple décor and limited seating, it is clear this restaurant prioritizes cooking over ambiance. Most customers opt for take-out, which likely helps keep prices affordable. Service is warm and efficient. You are greeted as soon as you walk in, and staff members are ready with ordering help and suggestions. Most lunch plates are $10.25 and come with steamed rice or chow mein, or pork fried rice for an additional $2. Lunch plates are offered daily from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including weekends. The menu covers a broad range of Cantonese and Szechuan favorites -- Kung Pao Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, General Tao Chicken, Szechuan Beef, chow mein, chow fun, plus several soups and fried rice options. Combination plates start at $12.90, and the family specials (three dishes for $41) are a solid value. All in all, it is a great spot for anyone craving affordable, satisfying Chinese food -- especially students and anyone on a tight budget.

We were greeted and seated right away and our drink orders were taken. Our server was very nice and friendly. The restaurant had a few other patrons there when we arrived, and there were a couple tables needing to be cleared. We ended up ordering two of the family dinners and an order of orange chicken. The appetizer with egg rolls and chicken wings was really good. We liked the pork fried rice. The pork chow mein had tons of bean sprouts on top of the noodles. Way more bean sprouts (which we don't care for) than pan fried noodles. I didn't really care for the orange chicken. The meat was a bit dry and the sauce was a bit too mild for my taste. We had good service throughout our meal, with check ins and drink refills. Lots of food and enough leftovers for two more dinners.

Didn't have high expectations since it was mid-dinner time and the entire dining room was empty. It looked run-down, but we noticed they were handling a lot of delivery and pickup orders, and the phone rang frequently. Service was good but somewhat slow; it seemed they prioritize online and phone orders. I ordered the Ginger Chicken, and the portions are huge. They also bring a small complimentary soup, and I believe they make the noodles from scratch in-house. The chicken had real slices of ginger and was very tasty. I'd go back again. Don't let the strange area or the weird ambiance stop you. The food is good. Just don't go in expecting perfection, and you'll enjoy it.
