    Side Corned Beef Hash

A number of people have raved about Mitchell's on Main. I have eaten at a Mitchell's before, but not this one. I have also eaten in the building housing this Mitchell's when it was a different breakfast place. Mitchell's is not fancy and offers reasonably priced breakfast options. We had a short wait for a table for 5 people on a Saturday morning. They managed the line well and service was pretty efficient once we were seated. I ordered a Sausage Egg & Cheese on an everything bagel. It was decent. The sausage was in link form, which is not ideal for a bagel sandwich. The cheese could have been a bit more melted. Nothing really stood out positive or negative otherwise. I also ordered a side of corn beef hash. It was a fairly standard version. It didn't pop for me, but it was fine. My son ordered a chili omelette with cheese and some veggies. He was thrilled with it. I had a couple bites and it was definitely the best thing I tasted that morning. The chili was sweet. Mitchell's is a fair breakfast spot, and when you factor in price, it certainly could be an appealing option for some people. I prefer other breakfast options within my driving radius. 3.5 Stars

Still and always will be our favorite local breakfast spot! Great family run restaurant with the best breakfast around. With all the rising food costs, Mitchell's is still affordable for a great meal. Staff is the absolute best and will remember you each time you come in. Great takeout game too if you're in a pinch. An absolute Cromwell staple!!

First impression very cute good size diner. Everyone seemed friendly. Can't wait to try the breakfast quesadilla.

Driving alone the highway and found this spot about 10 minutes off. Service was very good. Food tasted great no complaints at all. Will come back again to try other foods.

First time visit Quaint little spot Easy to find, easy to see Diner decor Heads up parking is a little tight The variety was just right. I ordered the 2 for breakfast. Pancakes were PERFECT, Turkey sausage very flavorful, Eggs... are eggs. Potatoes were just ok, not a fan of the hash (to be fair, I am a bit of snob when I comes to hash though) Service is great I would definitely come back. Thank you, Julia for making my first visit GREAT.

This is a solid breakfast spot. We've only done takeout so far so I can't comment on the sit down service. I like getting our toddler breakfast quesadillas egg and cheese. She likes them a lot. They also have muffins and bagels, but I didn't see them listed on the online menu. I prefer their pancakes over their French toast. I got oatmeal from them and they had quick-melt brown sugar to go with it which was a nice touch. They have parking along the side of the building and there's also a public lot across the side street in case that is full.

Came in on a Friday morning for breakfast. This place is so close to my house so it was a super short drive. We came in and we're seated right away and the host grabbed us drinks as soon as we sat down. The waitress Julia was so nice and attentive. She was super sweet, made sure the food was all cooked perfectly, and checked in and filled our coffee regularly. The guy bussing tables was also extremely friendly. Really just an great overall atmosphere in here! We ordered the House Special with corned beef hash instead of the ham. Also the lobster Florentine; both dishes were fantastic. The coffee is also delicious, I love a good cup of diner coffee. You should definitely come check this place out!!

Haven't been back here for so long a time and it's just down the street. Had a very early physical exam and needed some morning fortification so ended up here. Very good Breakfast Sandwich of egg and bacon on a hard roll. This was done just right and was just what I needed with lots of crispy bacon. Two cups of good coffee and I was out of there to take on the day. Nice friendly hometown service!

Our office always orders from Mitchell's it's always fantastic. They have a verity of mixed sandwiches my favorite is turkey with Swiss on a cersont!! They also do a great fruit salad the fruit is always fresh and delicious. This time we also tried something new and ordered beef stroganoff omg delicious it was made with steak that was so tender the sauce was a light mushroom sauce I would definitely recommend. If your looking for a great breakfast lunch spot look no further!!

A solid three star breakfast spot, prompt service, decent breakfast, great pancakes. The upgrade to real maple syrup is key to enjoying pancakes anywhere really IMO. These pancakes were nice and fluffy and tasty. The eggs were meh, the sausage was decent, the home fries were not good at all. The place was hopping on a weekend and the turnover was hopping as well for tables. We shared a toasted blueberry muffin to start and it was good but nothing spectacular.

I have grown up with the Mitchell's restaurants. And they are still my favorite place to eat breakfast. Some of the best hometown food with some of the best people. You can't beat their "New Special". Just about a little of everything, eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, pancakes, and toast. Sure to keep you full for the rest of the day. And the home fries are epic. Best anywhere. If to haven't been to one of the Mitchell's locations, you are missing out.

I've heard so much about Tony's Flour Shop, I am so happy I recently got to check them out my self…read more I am almost never in Cromwell, but on this occasion I was meeting a friend and Tony's was the perfect midpoint for us. This place is so adorable on the inside, it is small and pretty intimate, but the decor is precious! There are so many toadstools (the oversized red mushrooms with polka dots) and rainbows everywhere. Tony's specialty's are all his mom's recipes. There was a delightful selection of an assortment of sweets. Of course you can get your coffees and teas too. Each month they change their drink specials. I got a slice of their Salted Caramel Pecan Blondie and a May Specialty Latte called Fay Valentine. The Blondie was rich with caramel on the outside but decadently sweet, yet crunchy. This is an indulgence for sure! The Fay Valentine is a Banana and Peanut Butter Latte, absolutely delicious! I kept slurping long after it was gone! Please go check out the restroom at Tony's, even if nature isn't calling you to go. I have never before encountered a more magical restroom. If I tell you there's Alice herself hanging upside down from the ceiling, maybe that's enough reason to go. I had a wonderful time with my friend at Tony's Flour Shop, the staff is super helpful and friendly. I cannot wait to return.

Whooooah! I have never wanted to brag about a breakfast sandwich in my life, but Tony's Flour Shop…read morewould be the one! I ordered three things - decaf coffee, the egg, bacon and cheese breakfast sandwich on homemade Italian bread, and a salted croissant. The breakfast sandwich was beautiful - buttered and gently toasted on the outside, soft and squishy on the inside, the bacon was perfectly crisp, and the egg wasn't runny, as I had requested. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE had bread like this; it elevated the entire thing That Salted Croissant tho! I was carb-loading double-fisted style, and it was an amazing way to end my work trip. Thank you for the Studio Ghibli stickers! I knew this place was legit when there was a bowl with giveaway stickers And the service was friendly, prompt, and helpful I will definitely be back and would STRONGLY recommend Tony's Flour Shop!

There were red velvet/ cream cheese little cakes, chocolate with graham and marshmallow, cheese danish, jalapeño cookies, fruit tarts, and one that had cheese and meatballs. Amazing. #40 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES…read more This is an Asian-owned, female-owned bakery and coffee shop with delicious Asian-inspired pastries and fun drinks! We came on a Sunday around 10:30am and they were almost out of some of their pastries. Definitely go there earlier. But that just shows how fresh everything is! Firstly, all of the pastries looked delicious! It was so hard to just pick one so we needed up picking 3. Cheesy hotdog bread, kbbq short rib bread, and a cranberry cream cheese pastry. They were all SOOO GOOD! The bread is so soft and the flavors were delicious. They have lots of fun seasonal drinks, caffeinated and non-caffeinated. They also have boba! I got an ube banana latte and my friend got their seasonal Coquito latte which was recommended. Both were delicious (and very strong). The service was immaculate. I didn't catch the cashier's name but she was younger with brown hair. The sweetest person ever! Definitely made the experience more enjoyable. The owner, Chan also gifted us a piece of delicious oreo cake for fun! It was so yummy and not too sweet. I cannot recommend this place enough!
