Very disappointed by our brunch experience. To start with I was so excited to see that brunch was returning to Miramonte. I had enjoyed it years ago when they offered it pre-Covid. I saw a Facebook post that said brunch with bottomless mimosas and I new I wanted to try it out! I made a reservation for yesterday(March 15) because we had friends visiting from AZ. I thought it would be a great time at a winery that I really enjoy and has such a nice view. Well, that's not how it turned out. To start with our reservation was at 11:00AM which is the time the winery opens so there was a long line waiting to get in. We got seated with 1 brunch menu for 4 people and then were told that they don't do the main menu items for brunch which 1 person had already chosen. Another issue was there was nothing about bottomless mimosas on the menu--we asked and our waiter said they don't do that. Strike 1. My biggest complaint is when I went to order the Chilaquiles from the brunch menu and asked for them to leave off the cheeses and crema sauce the waiter said they don't do ANY modifications. Seriously?! I am allergic to dairy and you can't leave off the cheese?? There was no real options for a gluten and dairy free brunch. If it was just me there without my friends I would have left but I didn't think we would be able to get in anywhere else this late of notice for brunch. I decided to get one of the items on the menu which was sausage or bacon with eggs and potatoes. It also came with toast but I gave that to my hubby. I thought I would be ok but then the meal arrived and the potatoes had a dusting of some kind of cheese, which I noticed AFTER taking a bite. Ugh. It did not mention that on the menu. I was unhappy with the whole experience and later had a belly ache from that cheese. Luckily, my friends really enjoyed their food. Service was slow but they were trying it seemed. The service here was amazing, and the flatbread and charcuterie board we got really hit the spot. They were the perfect bites to pair with the six different wines we had during our tasting, and of course we needed to bring a bottle home! I was there celebrating a birthday. The sangria was okay, I don't recall what brand it was, if they have more than 1 kind of red sangria but it did taste more like wine that mixed fruit. It was served in a wine glass with ice. My friends had their fish & chips. I nibbled on the fries. Their fish didn't look too bad. Fries tasted fine. I was craving vegetables and they only had their roasted broccolini which was oily but seasoned well, I believe they used olive oil. I don't know how much the broccolini cost but hopefully it was about the same price of $7 for a side of fries. Great atmosphere, it was good weather on Sunday Memorial Day weekend. It was 80 degrees but it bad a nice breeze and we sat in the shade area. I'm not sure if they have ADA access to their winery because I didn't notice it but its a lot of walking from parking to the winery. Their parking is dirt and lots of rumble. I don't suggest wearing heels. Its not safe walking in heels, so wear like comfortable sneakers because of the dirt and rocks can ruin your shoes, cause a fall and injury. That was my concern going up and down the hills from the parking. Service was very slow. A lot of times, the server hardly visited to give refills or order more drinks & food. They forget the side of ranch with the 3 orders of fish & chips. By the time it arrived (30 mins later) the fries were cold. Now everyone drove pretty far for this event, and I get it was busy because it was a holiday weekend, but perhaps try to hire more staff to accommodate the crowd. Especially when you tell the table there is a 2 hour time limit and you didn't visit often to get us drinks or food. Maybe this place likes to give a European vibe to just sit and sip taking your time? People drove from Victorville, LA, and OC. We thought we can spend the entire time there drinking and eating food. We've been coming to Miramonte for years but hadn't been in awhile. Nick was our guide through a flight of their current wines and he was amazing!! Great information about all the wines, what he selected for our palate preference was spot on, and the service was excellent. We ended up joining the wine club and leaving the with a number of our favorites. They have a great selection and variety unlike some other places which lean more to reds or similar flavors. The white wine sangria was excellent. We've been fans of their rieslings for years and the 2023 did not disappoint! Restaurant also really good, try the bucatini pasta with chicken. There was 5 in our group and he made sure to take care of all of us, I had only been once previously so I wasn't too familiar with the wines and he made great recommendations. Came here as my lady's aunt is a member and this is one of her favorite places. Had a few glasses of wine and sangria and I didn't have a bad experience on none of the drinks. I ordered the honey & pepperoni w/ Oaxacan cheese and it was delicious. I was skeptical about the cheese on the pizza but to my surprise it meshed well with the other flavors. My hubby and I attended this winery for the first time. We are friend's with the band and reserved a table ahead of time. The Toga Party Band was performing which was by far one of the best band's in this area....We LOVE them and the dance floor was packed throughout their entire set. Miramonte......PLEASE have this band return! My hubby ordered the stuffed mushroom's which he loved. I myself ordered the flatbread pizza..it was Okay, nothing special but priced at $24.00. I get it....wineries are pricey and we mainly came for the entertainment. Our server was FABULOUS....very attentive and will request her area again if we return... The main negative here are the bathrooms...3 stalls in the women's bathroom and one one small sink area. This was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was full to capacity. I made two trips to the restroom and both times, I was # 7 and #8 in line waiting. No room to wash hands without bumping into others, re apply lipstick or fixing my hair was impossible. The bathroom door had to be kept open as to not hit people standing in line waiting. This bathroom was tiny. Supposedly, Miramonte has additional restrooms in a trailer but they were locked and not in use. Please do better Miramonte....your property is beautiful but a tiny restroom for a full capacity crowd is unacceptable. read more

We came for my dad's birthday and Miramonte was our first experience at a Temecula winery. They have a spacious patio, but for being perched high on top of a hill, there are no views to be had. The grounds are not very roam-friendly so you're a little relegated to your table. The menu at Miramonte is very Mediterranean influenced with lots of hummus and olives etc. For the table, we shared the following: -pesto burrata ($25): fresh burrata covered in a hazelnut basil pesto with arugula, tomato, onion, lemon vinaigrette and balsamic reduction served with a toasted baguette -charcuterie board ($42): rotating selection of imported cured meats & house-made hummus with mustard, dried fruit, cheese, olive tapenade and crispy bread -BBQ herb roasted chicken flatbread ($22): herb-roasted chicken, bacon, red onion, tomato, Asiago and mozzarella with house-made ranch -Mediterranean nachos (*special) Of the things we ordered, the pesto burrata was quite tasty. I don't know why pesto is such a popular menu thing in Temecula, but I'm not mad. The pesto and burrata combination was unexpectedly very good especially on the little piece of toast. My family also enjoyed the Mediterranean nachos which are basically just pita chips topped with things like feta, cucumbers, and olives. Good stuff but the people it attracts?! The service?! The ambiance?! Walked in to get some bottles to go, there were some people at the wine chatting it up with the bartender, we were waiting patiently looking at the menu, then we realized it would be a while so we went to use the restroom. Upon walking out the door we were scoffed at and given the dirtiest looks as if we were leaving because we were impatient... it was so unwelcoming. I understand they were chatting it up but we were being patient. After all, it's bar service... you get your drink and go sit down. We arrived 30 minutes before they closed and decided it to sit and have a sangria. 10 minutes before they close the staff stops by and swoops up our un-finished glasses of sangria and bucket. Didn't even ask if we were done.. this place closes in 10 minutes and that's when we planned to leave, when it closed. As a couple who is unconfrontational and doesn't like to cause a seen or attract attention to ourselves, we just let them treat us like this.. which in the end is not cool. We shared a margarita flatbread and a dish called chicken bucatini. When the flatbread arrived, it appeared that the crust was undercooked and didn't look as inviting as I hoped it would. But when you tasted it, it was cooked too perfection! The chicken bucatini was also equally outstanding. Waited 45 for a table , which was no problem, it was busy . But once seated , it was a total nightmare! There was a DJ , which they sat us right next to , had to ask to be seated elsewhere just to hear ourselves speak. The music was so loud , it was like being at a bad wedding . With distasteful music, and the DJ shouting in his microphone like it was a club in Vegas . By no means was this an enjoyable Sunday afternoon at a winery . Ruined our entire experience. As someone who often goes to wineries in Los Olivos and Santa Ynez , this would never be the vibe . Our server was great , and could feel the intensity and was apologetic. Enter Miramonte! Since they were open til 8 we were able to cruise over there for an extended wine/nosh session. A lot of other people had the same idea so it was crowded, but we lucked out into a table on the patio that could accommodate our party. We each got a wine tasting and ordered some apps to share (spread & bread, various flatbreads). I honestly cannot tell you what wines I had (the perils of waiting too long to write a review and not taking notes, doh), but I enjoyed them all and we thought their food was great.
