With its picturesque views of thier rolling vineyards, contemporary wine tasting rooms, and tranquil seating areas, it's definitely a culinary and wine connoisseur destination. The winery has knowledgeable Sommeliers that walked us through the various vineyard's wine blends. Each wine we tried were well balanced and harmonious, with its components working together to allow the flavors and aromas to shine through. Excellent selections! The wine tasting was different than what we are used to the way the ran the tasting room. The area seemed small I'm not sure if we missed part of the winery or if it was just a small cozy space. The wine that I did sample was good. They were out of some selections of the wine I would have preferred to taste so that wasn't fun the selections seemed small as well I don't know if we were there on a weird day or what but I don't know if I liked it or not. Came here on a Friday afternoon and had the best experience with Nick! There was 5 in our group and he made sure to take care of all of us, I had only been once previously so I wasn't too familiar with the wines and he made great recommendations. I even ended up joining the club because of the great service we had from Nick, can't wait to continue to come back and enjoy!! Came here as my lady's aunt is a member and this is one of her favorite places. Had a few glasses of wine and sangria and I didn't have a bad experience on none of the drinks. I ordered the honey & pepperoni w/ Oaxacan cheese and it was delicious. I was skeptical about the cheese on the pizza but to my surprise it meshed well with the other flavors. I also tried the miramonte burger and the stuffed mushrooms. Both fantastic! Can't wait to come back. It was a cool sunny day and there was a breeze coming in so it was almost a perfect day weather wise but the outdoor seating was a great and the staff were really nice. Unfortunately, our experience at this winery was less then we had hoped. The service at the bistro was way below what we were expecting. Our party was a party of 7, seated at 2 different tables, next to each other. Tried making a reservation online for this size of party so we could all sit together, I was only able to make a reservation for 2 separate tables. We could not move the tables together. I called several times to see if I could receive help with my reservation and there was no answer. I emailed and did not get a response until 2 days later. I did not see any tasting room. There were 2 people behind the counter serving and charging people for glasses of wine. We got seated promptly at our reservation time, placed our order and the food did not come out at the same time. First order of 1 salad was the first to come to the table, then 15 minutes later an order of flat bread pizza, 5 minutes later 3 orders of hamburgers and another 15 minutes later the last order of a pblt sandwich. These orders were not appetizers but entrees. Also, we had to ask to have our drinks refilled and had to request bbq sauce 4 times before receiving it at the table. It was very disappointing. Hopefully we visited on a day that they were having problems and this is an uncommon occurrence. We will not be coming back as there are so many other wineries to try. I would suggest making a reservation for a party over 4 people a month or more ahead of time, I made our reservations over a week ahead and obviously it was not enough time to get a table to accommodate 7 people. As for the poor service, I would suggest that the kitchen and staff coordinate better to serve an entire table within a reasonable time frame allowing everyone to eat together. As for the tasting room, maybe I just didn't know where it was. read more

My hubby and I attended this winery for the first time. We are friend's with the band and reserved a table ahead of time. The Toga Party Band was performing which was by far one of the best band's in this area....We LOVE them and the dance floor was packed throughout their entire set. Miramonte......PLEASE have this band return! My hubby ordered the stuffed mushroom's which he loved. I myself ordered the flatbread pizza..it was Okay, nothing special but priced at $24.00. I get it....wineries are pricey and we mainly came for the entertainment. Our server was FABULOUS....very attentive and will request her area again if we return... The main negative here are the bathrooms...3 stalls in the women's bathroom and one one small sink area. This was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was full to capacity. I made two trips to the restroom and both times, I was # 7 and #8 in line waiting. No room to wash hands without bumping into others, re apply lipstick or fixing my hair was impossible. The bathroom door had to be kept open as to not hit people standing in line waiting. This bathroom was tiny. Supposedly, Miramonte has additional restrooms in a trailer but they were locked and not in use. Please do better Miramonte....your property is beautiful but a tiny restroom for a full capacity crowd is unacceptable. read more

Good stuff but the people it attracts?! The service?! The ambiance?! Walked in to get some bottles to go, there were some people at the wine chatting it up with the bartender, we were waiting patiently looking at the menu, then we realized it would be a while so we went to use the restroom. Upon walking out the door we were scoffed at and given the dirtiest looks as if we were leaving because we were impatient... it was so unwelcoming. I understand they were chatting it up but we were being patient. After all, it's bar service... you get your drink and go sit down. We arrived 30 minutes before they closed and decided it to sit and have a sangria. 10 minutes before they close the staff stops by and swoops up our un-finished glasses of sangria and bucket. Didn't even ask if we were done.. this place closes in 10 minutes and that's when we planned to leave, when it closed. As a couple who is unconfrontational and doesn't like to cause a seen or attract attention to ourselves, we just let them treat us like this.. which in the end is not cool. Based off this experience, I don't think I'll be back. We bought 3 bottles which were delicious.... But I will not forget the unwelcoming and rude vibes from employees and guests. read more

Vegas people should know how to act in the heat but these two knuckleheads decided to venture to this winery and eat outdoors !!! Omg yes we did but it was well worth the pain !!! We decided to each order a glass of wine rather than doing a tasting. Good decision. Their opulente Blanc and opulente red were both amazing. We shared a margarita flatbread and a dish called chicken bucatini. When the flatbread arrived, it appeared that the crust was undercooked and didn't look as inviting as I hoped it would. But when you tasted it, it was cooked too perfection! The chicken bucatini was also equally outstanding. The sauce brought me back to my childhood when eating chicken à la king was a staple in our home. The views are wonderful and this venue is one you should not miss. read more

Ambiance is perched atop a hill with good vibes, hanging lights, and even local craft beers on tap for those not into wine. Our server was super friendly and patient despite us not ordering any wine from her and only the charcuterie board. We ordered tastings inside and everyone pouring us our wine was friendly and knowledgeable. Cheese and meats were delicious as well. The entire board was empty by the time we left! As an update, we came back for more and miramonte is just as good as we remembered. The food and sangria were all on point! The tastings have increased in price ($25) but what hasn't? The classics were still as great as ever: pesto Mac and cheese, stuffed mushrooms, and red sangria. My wife had the pizza and thought it tasted like a frozen pizza. I had the burger and it was just ok and the fries were barely done. These should've been priced closer to 1/3 of what was charged. I'll give this a 1 star. Band: They can technically play, but their song selection was not not danceable and they thought every song needed to be "funked" up for some reason. We came for my dad's birthday and Miramonte was our first experience at a Temecula winery. They have a spacious patio, but for being perched high on top of a hill, there are no views to be had. The grounds are not very roam-friendly so you're a little relegated to your table. The menu at Miramonte is very Mediterranean influenced with lots of hummus and olives etc. For the table, we shared the following: -pesto burrata ($25): fresh burrata covered in a hazelnut basil pesto with arugula, tomato, onion, lemon vinaigrette and balsamic reduction served with a toasted baguette -charcuterie board ($42): rotating selection of imported cured meats & house-made hummus with mustard, dried fruit, cheese, olive tapenade and crispy bread -BBQ herb roasted chicken flatbread ($22): herb-roasted chicken, bacon, red onion, tomato, Asiago and mozzarella with house-made ranch -Mediterranean nachos (*special) Of the things we ordered, the pesto burrata was quite tasty. I don't know why pesto is such a popular menu thing in Temecula, but I'm not mad. The pesto and burrata combination was unexpectedly very good especially on the little piece of toast. My family also enjoyed the Mediterranean nachos which are basically just pita chips topped with things like feta, cucumbers, and olives. I've never seen yogurt on a cheese platter and it was not filling or had good quality ingredients . The rest of the food was poor quality as well for the price you pay. STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great spot if you want to hang out later in the area. After our lunch at Creekside Grille we still wanted to hang out but a lot of the wineries were starting to close. Enter Miramonte! Since they were open til 8 we were able to cruise over there for an extended wine/nosh session. A lot of other people had the same idea so it was crowded, but we lucked out into a table on the patio that could accommodate our party. We each got a wine tasting and ordered some apps to share (spread & bread, various flatbreads). I honestly cannot tell you what wines I had (the perils of waiting too long to write a review and not taking notes, doh), but I enjoyed them all and we thought their food was great. Within a few minutes we were told that we needed to get up and go wait at reception until we were seated. We explains what had occurred up to this point and that it wouldn't be fair to make us leave. My family loves frequenting this winery whenever we find ourselves in Temecula. Gorgeous location situated on a hilltop so you have sweeping views of the vineyards both on the property and neighboring winerys as well. Such a prime spot to host family and friends for a special occasion or just take some time to relax. The wine is spectacular no doubt about it (I'm partial to white so I love a Riesling) but their food menu is just as incredible. Kudos to the entire kitchen staff and chefs at Miramonte because they definitely know what they are doing. I've tried a large selection of their menu and every app or dish is just stellar both in quality and serving size. This weekend I tried their chicken bucatini which nearly knocked me over at how delicious it was (and there was plenty for leftovers too!) Parking was horrible, and staff didn't seem to care. Place was packed so I had high hopes. Was I here on a bad day, twice?
