It's been awhile since we dined at Miramonte but we are big fans of the Tomato Fromage dish they used to serve but they didn't today. The waitress did say they will bring it back starting tomorrow. Their menu has definitely gotten smaller and I was a little disappointed how the menu was set up. I got the Cali burger with a side of fries which they offered different types of fries. It was just weird to charge 4 dollars extra for fries because they have pink salt sprinkled on them (salt and vinegar). They also charge 1.50 for ranch, never seen that before. It's not about the price, it just gives me a feeling like I am being mislead and the prices aren't the actual prices. There's also a "TVWAHD fee" 1% which idk what that is for (see receipt). The goat cheese flatbread was also quite the disappointment, it's basically very cheap quality pizza. The pesto burrata and charcuterie board were good like the last time. read more

I've never in my life left a Yelp review, and that need to keep my opinions to myself changed when I met Cody of Miramonte. Could you meet a more genuine, helpful, high-spirited waiter? Doubtful. The winery itself is gorgeous--my boyfriend and I went at a time where the weather was perfect, the crowd was calm, and the atmosphere was what we desired. However, it was our server Cody who made the difference. They were kind, attentive, and an absolute delight. So much so that they have my mid-20s self saying things like, "you're a delight." My wife, along with another couple, I visited the beautiful Miramonte Winery in Temecula yesterday (8/26/23) as we have many times. We sat at the bar out in the patio as we always do, but unfortunately this time we had the most unpleasant bartender. For the record, we've always enjoyed sitting at the bar, meeting new people and conversing with the bartenders who have always been so pleasant. This time our bartender did not greet us at all and actually gave us a vibe that she was bothered with our presence. She was not engaging and we actually had to ask her if she could serve us some wine. Her demeanor was so awful that we had one round of drinks, two appetizers, and decided to go to a different winery. The last time we were there we had such a pleasant and friendly bartender named Karina and we spent a couple of hours enjoying their wine and the great view. Unfortunately, yesterday's female bartender was just not a pleasant person to deal with. read more

Most server are not nice. My sister is a very new member. She has visited two times and both times Allison has told her she's sitting in the wrong place. Another server told us it was too late to order food. Somehow after speaking to Jerika and the cook, we were able to get fries. They said we had three minutes to order. Three minutes is three minutes. Laziness at its finest This is my first time joining my sister to this winery. I will NOT join. However, Jerika is the most amazing person they have on their staff. She was kind, informative, considerate, and inviting. Had we not had our encounter with Jerika, we would be canceling our membership. We are still considering canceling this membership. The people here are simply not friendly. They should hire more people like Jerika. read more

The places is really nice upon arrival. The staff are really nice. However, there is nothing truly amazing about this place. The bathroom is horrible there is literally a hole in the wall between stall that a toilet tissue roll was used to cover. so you could not use that roll it would fall out and you could see the other person in the next stall. Doesn't seemed to get cleaned often... other than that it was an ok experiences would give it another try a lot of businesses are suffering due to the pandemic maybe they were short staffed maybe that's the reason not sure too soon to tell. read more

I went here with a friend for lunch, and a wine tasting. The entire experience was so wonderful. We sat out on the patio, and is was so beautiful, our waitress was friendly, and the food was amazing! After lunch we moved to another area that was equally as beautiful for our wine tasting. Not only were all of the wines great, but we had a very lovely woman helping us. My wife an I were members of the sangria club a few year back .We had stop their membership because Sangria is seasonal to us only during the hot summer days . Recently we decided to give it another shot after a few years hideous , and we where disappointed we couldn't sit anywhere unless we either bought food or had to be members again . We each had a glass of Sangria and split afterwards, joining a more welcoming winery . Still one of my favorite wineries. Only downside is the dirt parking lot after the 1st lot fills up. There is not ample parking for the amount of folks that can potentially be here. Nice little restaurant, reasonably sized tasting room. Service at the tasting bar has always been quick and courteous for me. Wonderful winery! Excellent selection of both reds and whites, and a very reasonable wine club membership which includes 2 bottles every other month. Great outdoor area to bring the family, with live music on the weekends and great tapas to pair with your wine. Can't beat the views of the Temecula Valley either! Definitely try the 2014 Estate Syrah and 2014 Tempranillo if you are into bold, full-bodied reds. If you are into cool, crisp whites I recommend the 2016 4 Torch Blanc or perhaps their refreshing Rose on a warm day. read more

The location of this winery is really beautiful. However our experience was not as pleasing as we expected. For one, they didn't have enough sommeliers to attend to the many visitors who all seem to have decided to come at one time, in the middle of the week! Even when they motioned an "I'll be right with you" courtesy, we still ended up waiting a while. And when one of them finally attended to us, it was hurried and brief, no story or explanation of the kind of wine they were giving us, as if to say, "here's the sheet of our wine list available for tasting, pay up, then read it yourself." Really? Okay, they weren't that bad, but still... I wanted the full wine tasting experience and we didn't really get that. Secondly, their wine selections weren't that great (I think they specialize in Sangrias). Then a second sommelier finally showed up, apparently, just back from a tour. He was more attentive, and he did talk to us a little bit more about their wines, but wine club members kept showing up to pick up their wine order, and so, yes, more waiting. read more

We were on our way back to LA (where we live) from a weekend family vacation in San Diego, and we decided to make a stop in Temecula to have a decent meal and do a bit of wine tasting. Overall, we enjoyed the few wines that we tried, and at the restaurant a.k.a. "bistro," our meal was pretty good. The Caesar salad was a bit of a joke for $16, and really all you got was mostly a plate of cut up romaine lettuce and some salad dressing. I understand that this is a fancy restaurant at a winery, but I would have expected the $16 salad to be a bit more than that. Otherwise, the other food items we ordered were all pretty good - not amazing, but good. The winery and restaurant were pleasant, well put-together, had a good vibe, and the service was good overall. We enjoyed our meal and wine tasting at this bistro/winery, and would recommend it. read more

Started my day out at Lorimar and Wilson Creek, glad I ended the day here with sangria in the lounge. Loved the sangria, would've totally just taken the bottle home if my dear friend didn't just empty it in a glass for me xD Would return to enjoy other things in a more sober state, but it was fun regardless! Went to this place yesterday to close out our winery day excursion, because we heard it had a nice outdoor area and stayed open until 9. Most places in the valley close at 4 or 5, so already I was excited. Because of where it is situated (steep incline) you have great views of the rolling hills and other wineries! It's especially gorgeous to watch the sunset through the trees. We were hungry, so while our friends ordered food, 2 of us went inside to do a tasting. Their Tempranillo is flat out amazing. I personally love Weins Tempranillo, but this was even better. It was rich and full of tannins with a velvety smooth finish. I can honestly can say the best in valley - for me. I'd highly recommend this red along with the Opulente and Red Sangria. The food was also great, the only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the food was ok for the price and would have liked a little more options in the way of charcuterie and salads. Their version of a charcuterie board was tastey, but would have been better if they had more than 2 meats and 1 small cheese portion. Lots of sides, but not enough bread or any crackers for the tapenade and hummus. We asked to see if we could get more bread and they said we could purchase more for 5 bucks! No thank you. Only complaint though. I'd be happy to hang out here all day to drink and relax, just order something else - easy peasy. read more

It was our first time at this winery, and we arrived on a Friday night at about 7:45 PM with a party of four. The parking is predominantly down a hill and it is a little bit of a hike to get up to the winery. The grounds were beautiful and there seemed to be plenty of seating for dining or just relaxing. The live music was a plus, but the band was just ok. We walked into the tasting room and asked to purchase some tastings, but was told that they are only selling glasses and bottles at this time. It's kind of tough to purchase a bottle of wine, when you're not even sure if you, or your party will even like it. So we asked for the servers recommendations, Which was a Rose and a Tempranillo. Half of my group got a glass of the Rose and the other half got the Tempranillo. It's not really fair for me to review the Rose because even though I tasted it, it is not what I typically look for in wine. Of my family members who enjoy white and Rose wines, they were kind of middle-of-the-road. It was good, but not great according to them. I generally gravitate to the fuller bodied red wines, so I was excited to taste their Tempranillo. The glass of Tempranillo that I tasted was sharp and seemed very young. If I was able to taste their Wines, I definitely wouldn't have chosen this one, but I might've found something else I really liked. Unfortunately, I did not have an option to taste the wines and this was the glass I chose based on the service recommendations and my preference of other wines. I'm sorry I don't have any other details about these two wines (year, etc) or other wines they offer, because we were a little rushed from the tasting bar And didn't really get it any "education" about what wines they offer. With so many options in Temecula, we probably won't be back. We are club members at two other Temecula wineries, and our experience at Miramonte didn't really win us over. read more

Holy Cow this place was amazing! Enjoyed the views, the layout of the place, the wines, food and the workers. When you enter you are greeted by almost everyone behind the bar. There selection isn't too huge, but the verdello and rose were wonderful to enjoy with friends. If you're a wine drinker, I recommend signing up for there VIP club. It's free when you buy two bottles every other month. You get free tasters and 10% off your food! The backyard patio was huge, which a bunch of nice lawn furniture for you to recline in and catch up with your friends! All the workers were young and very attractive as well haha makes for good eye candy while sipping on wine ;) Tue tomato fromage was so good! If you order it, get an extra side of bread! What draws me back into returning to a winery is service and it was 1/5. I asked for a simple side salad and they couldn't accommodate because they don't offer side salads with their entrees. Just finished the VIP Tour and Tasting and what a great experience! The food pairing was a real treat. We have been members here for several years but never experienced this tour. Unlike most other wine tours and tastings this tour is hosted by a certified sommelier and Chris (#silverfox) did an absolutely amazing job helping us to enjoy our wine more than ever! We belong to several wineries in The Temecula valley and Miramonte is our favorite due to the excellent staff (Chase, Molly and Robert to make just a few), great wine and even better food.
