First of all, I would give this place negative stars if that were an option, but unfortunately the minimum is one. This was by far the worst experience I've had at a winery--and I've been a member at several over the years. I'm well aware that most wineries stop tastings about an hour before closing, which is why we specifically asked our server if we had enough time. We told him that if not, we'd just order a glass instead. He assured us we had plenty of time and said as long as we received our final pour before closing, we'd be fine. Based on that, we ordered three tastings at $30 each. Shortly after, a very rude employee named Star approached us and told us they were closing soon and that we needed to either quickly finish our remaining four pours or she would take them away. It genuinely felt like she was about to grab the glasses out of our hands. We explained that we were told we had enough time, which is why we chose tastings instead of a single glass. She responded dismissively and went to get the manager. The manager (I don't remember her name but she was a white older lady) gave us an additional 10 minutes but made it clear we needed to rush and leave. This is not the level of service--or experience--I expect, especially when I'm paying for a tasting. If you order food at a restaurant before closing, you're not forced out the second the clock hits closing time. I completely understand staff wanting to go home, which is exactly why we asked in advance. To make matters worse, I found a phone in the bathroom and turned it in to the rude manager. Somewhere during that time, I accidentally left my wallet behind which now I believe was purposely not returned to me. I called repeatedly over the next two weeks and was told multiple times that it would be mailed to me. After being given the runaround and leaving about five voicemails, nothing was ever sent. I live over 2.5 hours away and ultimately had to drive back to retrieve it myself. Overall, this was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. I've never been treated so poorly at a winery, and I would not return or recommend this place to anyone.

Once again great service and ambiance with an overcast and music in the background. The real reason for this post is their food this time. Breakfast. First time I saw this in the menu and damn, it was de-li-cious! Chilaquiles bomb! Avocado toast was really good and the bacon was outstanding. If you see these on the menu they are a must.

Great Winery for all occasions, beautiful Cabanas available to reserve. The service is excellent as well very attentive and professional. So it doesn't matter if you are here for a quick pop in or bite to eat or to celebrate. This winery is perfect and the staff makes everything as seamless as possible.

A M A Z I N G!!! They have such a huge seating area. We arrived around 2pm on Saturday and thought my party of about 15 wouldn't be able to sit together and we found the perfect spot with all the room needed. The wine was delicious. Definitely recommend this winery

It was a great experience! The food was delicious and the view was nice! We were seated outside and enjoyed the view for a graduation brunch. The waitress was knowledgable about the food and wine was great. Riesling, sangria, and moscatos were drinks ordered. Everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and food. It wasn't over crowded on a weekday. Miramonte winery is by far one of my favorite wineries in Temecula. I was a member at Vitagliano winery for years, had Bel Vino and Thornton, and have now settled into this winery. The wines here are very strong and very good. My favorite is the Four Torch and the 2020 Estate Syrah. But any and every wine here is great!

We had a very frustrating experience at Miramonte Winery and will not be returning. Our group arrived about an hour before closing and specifically asked if we had enough time to do a full tasting. We were told it wouldn't be a problem, so we all ordered tastings (6 wines each). The wine itself was just okay, but the atmosphere was nice with live music, and we were enjoying our time. Things quickly went downhill when we went back inside for the next round. We were suddenly told we had only 15 minutes to finish everything because they were closing. The bartender then poured all remaining tastings at once, which felt rushed and unnecessary. About 10 minutes later, an employee named Star came over and rudely told us they were closed and we needed to throw away the four tastings we hadn't even tried yet and leave. I explained that we hadn't finished and would leave shortly, but she escalated the situation by calling her manager and claiming we were refusing to leave. The manager came over and, while giving us an extra 10 minutes, was also unfriendly and dismissive. The whole situation felt poorly handled and unnecessary, especially since we had asked about timing upfront. To make matters worse, my girlfriend accidentally left her wallet behind. For two weeks, we called multiple times and were told a manager would mail it back (we live in LA, about two hours away). It was never sent, and we ultimately had to drive back to pick it up ourselves. Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences we've had at a winery. Very disappointing.

2025 visit: Miramonte Winery offers some good white and red wines, as well as a couple sangrias. Read the code of conduct on the sign before entering to refresh yourself with the expected behavior. They boast a menu of charcuterie, flatbread pizzas, sandwiches, vegetarian dishes and chicken or salmon mains, and to end with a couple choices for dessert. Nice inside or with pets a large outdoor covered patio. Star R was a pleasant server who helped us at this pet friendly vineyard. They even brought our water bowls for our fur babies. Today we chose a BBQ chicken flatbread and glass of red and white sangria. The flatbread pizza was great and came with free range chicken, house made BBQ sauce, authentic pinsa crust, cilantro, red onion, poblano peppers, marinara and a blend of four cheeses. 5/5 delicious and would get again. Both sangrias were also good but lacked fruit in the glass. Tip: They offer 10% Military/Veteran discount.

Came on a weekend to have lunch but their waitlist was closed for 2 hours. We chose to wait for seating in the grass area to look for our own table which worked out well as the turnover was quick. Place was packed, people had dogs and kids. Service was okay. Got our drinks from the bar and took some time to get orders for food. Overall, it was decent place to chill.

Beautiful view on patio for lunch. Heat lamps for cool days. Wine was good. Had Cabernet. Lunch was delicious. Unique presentation and yummy Nachos, stuffed mushrooms were the highlight! Chicken sandwich and fires good. Great service.

I think this winery is very live and upbeat!! They have a nice restaurant and nice tasting room here. I enjoyed their white sangria with champagne on top and their Caesar salad that was very good!! I recommend the sangria or moscato for wine and their salad for a good snack! It was very tasty!! The ambiance was perfect !! Very nice and pretty with comfortable seating. This is good to come to for a good time and celebration. The service was pretty good and fast. Very accommodating as well for a busy Saturday! Will come here again!

This is a lovely place that sits on a hill and provides a view to amazing sunsets! On the night we were there they had a live 80s band so that was a lot of fun. I wish they would have had more seating. But if you can't sit, you might as well dance to the band. Everyone enjoyed the wine. I don't even know if they had food. Maybe we weren't hungry or maybe they didn't have it, no idea. There were long lines at the bar. But that was OK. Overall, the ambience of this place was just lovely. They have built in restrooms and then fancy portapotty style restrooms. The signage on the extra restrooms was not great. Be careful that you're entering into the correct gender restroom. Eek! Parking is ample, but you have a little bit of a trek up the hill unless you get one of the great spots. It was OK though we dropped off our friend who has hard time walking at the top and then drove back down to find parking. I would love to come back here again.

Visited with friends. Good wine, nice atmosphere - skimpy menu and bad parking set up though. Anyways they double charged my debit card for something and wouldn't refund me unless I brought the receipt ! I live in San Diego about 45 minutes south and really just wanted the money I was errantly charged for back - its like they made it inconvenient enough for me to not drive up there and it should've been resolved so quick. Shame cause I had fun but this is not the first time I have heard of things like this happening here. Chalk it up to bad management but service is definitely lacking. read more

We used a Travelzoo voucher for 2 VIP tours and tastings with food pairings. Our guide, Sal, was great. Knowledgable, enthusiastic and friendly. We ended up signing up for the wine club. Great perks and a beautiful balcony to enjoy a glass. Definitely recommend Miramonte! read more

Yesterday we decided to take the wine tour while we had family visiting. What can I say but AMAZING...Sal was great with a lot of enthusiasm. I have been on other tours in this area that did not compare to this one. He really made it fun for the entire group, and for a bonus, We did learn a few things. Gorgeous view and delish wines. I purchased a Groupon and scheduled a wine tour for 4. My husband and I, along with my brother in law and sister in law, all went on a wine tour. Sal was our guide. Sal was AWESOME, fun, and knowledgeable regarding the wine process and how each type of wine was unique. Have been on two wine tours at Miramonte Winery, and I would definitely recommend this winery to anyone. All the wine was fantastic! Sal is definitely the tour guide you want! read more

We used the Groupon deal for VIP tour and tasting. Our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide, Sal, provided a mix of area history with details about the vine growing and wine making processes. We concluded with a private tasting with food pairings. This rating is only 4 star at this time because the restaurant kitchen, now under construction, is not yet open. Once this winery is completed and operating as fully capable, this will be a diamond location in the beautiful SoCal wine country. read more

Saw a groupon for Miramonte winery and a group of us girls decided to go. It was an awesome experience! The property was beautiful with scenic views from every angle. We initially bought a groupon for 4 people and added one more person. They charged us an extra $10 gratuity fee per person for adding someone. We basically ended up tipping the tour guide $50 bucks just to add someone to our group...it was a bit much but the groupon deal was really good so it balanced out. Our tour guide Leo was great! Everyone in the group ended up having a great time! read more

I came here with friend a month ago, our tour guide name Sal, his very knowledgeable nice and friendly their uno sangria teast so good, when u open the bottle you can smell the flowers and fruit favorite, after I ordered two bottles of sangria, give to my friends and their feedback is very good, I will come back this Winery place again. read more

I purchased a deal thru groupon, It was about $35 for a wine tour for 2. It was amazing, our guide was Sal. He was very knowledgeable and funny. We went around the winery and tried different wines and sangrias. The sangria is the best! The patio is also very cute and cozy. I definitely look forward to going again but sometime in spring once the weather is warmer. read more

This is a beautiful place but the service at restaurant is very bad! We gave it another shot to eat here and use the gift card we were given. It is just disorganized and your orders come out at different times. They take forever. It Is almost as if they do not have enough chefs in the kitchen. There is potential here if they just addressed the customer service and kitchen issues. read more

Out of all the wine tastings I've had in this area, this one is my favorite. Purchased the wine tour for two on Groupon and had a delightful afternoon with good wine and company. Our tour guide the #dreadlockwino Kamal was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for a girls day out or a nice activity date. I am a member at Miramonte and have always loved the vibe. I have recently been able to spend time at the winery with my husband. My biggest complaint was always the food service. They just did not seem very attentive, or customer service oriented. Service was always friendly, but hard to find. UNTIL THIS PAST MONDAY!!! Welcome Lester to the Miramonte staff. I have never had better service ! Lester was attentive, quick, very service driven and more than willing to help. My husband recently had surgery and had to sit on the couches below the table area and even though out of site, we were not forgotten. Bravo to Lester for bringing service to the food element of an amazing winery! read more

Celebrated my girlfriends birthday with the VIP wine tour. It was really fun! The group tour last about two hours and you taste about 10 different wines. It was really cool to see the process that the grapes go through to become wine. They have a great restaurant as well, prices are a little expensive compared to the portion of food you will receive but it is very good. We went Friday night and they had love music as well! Really fun spot with great atmosphere! read more

This is a wonderful establishment, one that I frequently visit when I'm in Temecula. My girlfriend and I were in last Saturday and had amazing interaction with a young man by the name of Chace. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, but he was charming and kept us entertained. With individuals such as himself, the amazing energy, and great wine I know that I will be back for more. The wine is excellent (Bin is our fav), the staff is wonderful, the bands are terrific and the overall atmosphere just gets better and better! We recently celebrated his our sons college graduation at Miramonte and Missy Anderson personalized it by singing him a very touching song. Our friends and family had the best time dancing, making new friends and enjoying their great wines! read more

After moving to the area 9 months ago we finally started exploring Temecula wineries. We make the trek to Sonoma and Napa every year so it is nice to have so many wineries so close to home. Since starting our exploration we have joined 5 wine clubs!. We have been un-happy with a couple of them so once we met Jennifer and tasted the wines at Miramonte, my wife suggested we drop one of the other wineries we are not happy with and join this club. We had a good time, Jennifer was great, and some of the wines are quite good. We are looking forward to more visits. read more

Awesome customer service!!! Within days of purchasing a good deal on Groupon, I realized that there was an even better deal available. Not really knowing what to expect, I called and spoke to Haily, the customer service rep. Haily is truly an asset to Miramonte - she was patient, kind, understanding, and went above and beyond to make sure that I, as a customer, was well taken care of. Sal gave us a tour of the winery and educated us on different wine notes and pairings. As first timers, we didn't know what to expect but it was a great experience. I would highly recommend Sal's tour for first timers to wine and appetizer pairing. We had a wonderful time and will be back. read more

All ages are welcome but obviously to drink wine or alcoholic beverages you must be 21. All wineries are family friendly and some are even pet friendly which I believe Miramonte happens to be one of them.

The individuals that were on the tour with me made it even more fun. Our tour guide and driver, Tony, was very knowledgable about the area, its history, and wine making. They texted me the night before and the day of the tour reminding about the pick date & time. I really appreciated that they offer transportation. Tony picked me up from the hotel, along with other individuals of the tour, and he also dropped us off at the end of the tour. The drive was really fun because Tony let us take over the aux. He's also very knowledgable about the area, so we learned a lot about Temecula's history and other wineries during the drive. We visited three different wineries: Wilson Creek Winery, Cougar Vineyard & Winery, and Fazeli Cellars Winery. My favorite winery from the three was Wilson Creek Winery. We tasted 6 wines at Wilson Creek, 5 wines at Cougar, and 6 wines at Fazeli! We had a guided tour by "Motor City Mike" at Wilson Creek. He is an incredible teacher. He gave us a tour around the winery, educated us about viniculture and corks, and taught us about the Wilson's history. They also acknowledged my birthday by giving me a necklace with a cork on it. Such a sweet gesture. We did not have a guided tour at the other two wineries. Lunch was included. While booking on their website, you get to choose which sandwich you'd like. We ate lunch at the Cougar Vineyard & Winery. I chose the roast beef sandwich, and it comes with a side of salad and a brownie. The winery is absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking. The best part is that they're pet-friendly! They even have adoption opportunities, and you can meet the puppies! I completely forgot the names of the wine I tasted, but I thought the wine was okay. Our last stop was at Fazeli Cellars Winery. The structure and outdoor area is very nice. Service is very courteous, attentive, and knowledgable. I thought it was unique because their wine contains interesting ingredients, especially the sweet wines. A friend I met on the tour ordered a flat bread, and we shared it. The flat bread was delicious and paired well with the wine. Highly recommend Grapeline Wine Tours! This was an unforgettable birthday experience. My only critique is that I prefer a guided tour at each winery because I'd like to learn more about its history, their own wine, and their own techniques in wine making.

Flash forward three attempts later to rebook and getting canceled. And trying to get refunded being unsuccessful, We switched to do the wine tour instead which is less money ticket wise. All the communication was confusing the emails said one thing and they group text with others numbers as well. There were many numbers to call like three different ones. Then they made us do a mandatory 20$ tip per person before the tour which I found confusing because our original ticket was already more. We asked to waive it but they couldn't its thier policy. The bus tour had 30 people in it so it was cramped. The tour itself was cool three spots and hour spent on each site. But it felt more like a promotional tour.

We had visited two other wineries before coming here, and the service at both was excellent. Unfortunately, our experience at this winery was disappointing. We were greeted kindly by the hosts when we first arrived, which gave us a good first impression. However, once we got to the bar area, the experience quickly changed. The bartender, a woman with glasses who appeared to be in her mid-to-late 20s, was noticeably rude. As we were about to sit down, she told us, "Do you mind waiting? I have to clean this up," in an unpleasant tone. We had no issue waiting, but while she was cleaning, she sprayed the cleaning solution in a way that splashed onto us, which felt careless and disrespectful. A few moments later, my friend politely asked if we could sit in the patio area. The bartender responded that we needed to wait in line, then said that everything on the grass was open for seating. When my friend asked whether the canopy section was available because there was a sign posted that said "employees only" the bartender repeated, again with attitude, that everything on the grass was open. Thankfully, a female manager came over to assist us with our concerns. She was extremely kind, apologized for the situation, and even offered for us to come back later to make up for the experience, which we appreciated, although we respectfully declined. Her professionalism and kindness stood out. Unfortunately, the male manager, Chris, seemed indifferent to the situation and asked us to wait without showing much concern for what had happened. That response made the experience feel even more frustrating. Overall, we left feeling unwelcome and disappointed, especially after having such great service at the other wineries we visited that day. read more

Heard great news about this place from my sister as they come regularly for wine and tastings on frequent occasions. Decided to make a family get together for both wining and dining which was a huge mistake. Firstly got to the restaurant early as it was our first time there wanted to appreciate the scenery and take a look around and when we asked, I was told it was fine. Seconds later some manager comes yelling around the corner what are you two doing there we aren't open for another 4 minutes go and stand by the host. Secondly, was when a place just opens you'd expect there to be everything available yet my dad choice of beer was out of stock and he got a replacement yet we got charged for the out of stock beer too. When your server asks you with a burger what would you like (fries, onion rings, garlic fries) you'd expect them to be complimentary options, but no these are all extra including the tiny sides of BBQ sauce which they offered each one was extra. Tri tip sanwhich was very chewy almost like rubber I had to grab the meat and eat it alone from the bun. Lastly, I'm clearly foolish as they do not bring you a bill to look over these things and sign and pay. They just bring you a tablet charge you the tip automatically, and request a second tip before you may ask for a receipt of any kind. Tried calling but no answer yesterday and after five calls today was told to wait until Friday to speak to someone in charge hopefully they care about their customers because I feel they missed their chance to. read more

Stunning Experience Undermined by Missing Coffee We recently dined at this beautiful restaurant/winery and the experience was amazing. The breathtaking views set the stage for a memorable evening, complemented by an impressive wine selection and attentive, friendly staff. Every dish we tried was flavorful and expertly prepared, making each course wonderfully flavorful. However, one major disappointment stood out: there was NO coffee available . After enjoying their delectable desserts, we were left without a perfect pairing to complement the rich chocolate cake. Ice water just didn't do the trick, and we couldn't help but feel that something was missing from an otherwise perfect meal. It was surprising and a bit frustrating that the restaurant didn't offer coffee. We even considered ordering a portable hot water boiler ourselves, but that seems silly. This oversight really held us back from fully savoring the end of our dining experience. We absolutely love their desserts and would have enjoyed them more with a proper coffee pairing. It's hard to believe such a fantastic restaurant would skip this essential element. We hope they reconsider and add coffee to their menu, ensuring that future guests can enjoy the complete dining experience they so excellently provide in every other aspect.. read more

Where do I start, I first found out about this place through groupon and I must say I'm glad to have come across it. I purchased the VIP wine tour; which in my opinion is an amazing deal, but unfortunately to my mistake I didn't reserve the tour ahead of time but I was able to contact the manager for the winery, she advised that I make my way to the winery and they'd see what they could do. We went over to the winery, about 2 hours drive for our anniversary and unfortunately we were unable to join the tour because of it was completely booked but they were able to get us a tasting for another one of their groupon deal prices. We loved the place so much we went back a second time for the VIP wine tour. I recommend booking the tour ahead of time, at least 2 weeks in advance. The view is absolutely beautiful and the wine is delicious. Recommend going on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday's, they have live music starting at 7pm on the weekends. Temecula has over 48 winery's within close proximity to each other but I highly recommend putting Miramonte at the top of your list, you won't regret it. read more

I have been a member with MiraMonte for a couple of years now. I decided to take 10 friends on my Birthday to join me here. To our misfortune we were unpleasantly assisted (if I can call it that) by Michelle in the tasting room. I let her know I would be picking up my shipment and I also wanted to get our 4 tastings with this. I told her how many glasses I would need which already seemed to bother her. My guest were looking at the wine list and she seemed completely irritated with us not knowing and taking up her time. I offered to have her help the gentleman behind me and received stink eye. She told us Not to walk away with the glasses. Why would I walk away with eight EMPY wine glasses? My guest then started asking if they are all this rude at the wineries or just here. I was embarrassed for bringing them into Mira Monte. We finally choose the wine we wanted and I pronounced the name incorrectly but Michelle was very quick to notify me that I had said it wrong. We will no long be members at this winery any longer and will be going to a more friendly establishment!! read more

I've been to most of the wineries in Temecula and Miramonte is not the biggest and fanciest, but definitely has the best vibes. Very cool spot to enjoy wine and hang out with friends. Beautiful setting overlooking wine country. Very relaxing patio with comfy seats and tables to enjoy your wine. Almost want to hang out here all day. Speaking of the wine, it is some of the best I've had. Many people have raved about the quality of their wines and they did not disappoint. Sangria, of course, was refreshing and delicious. Best in all of Temecula wine country by far. My other favorites were the Estate Syrah, Opulente, Tempranillo, Pinot Gris. Service was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, friendly staff always happy to answer all your questions and serve us plenty of great wine with a smile. This winery hosts a few employees that are on power trips, very rude and completely out of touch with "the customer is always right". The wine club is total joke, they changed the visits from unlimited to ONE per month, never seen in the world, and obviously something NOT to consider by any means. The cheese platter was cut in half but the price remained the same. The sangria bottles went up 20%, as if the inflation justified it. Some of the bands have much to be desired, maybe the reviewers before me were lucky and assisted when a good band was playing. They pay $100 per musician, so who can play and be happy with that type of slavery. They dont care about 'you', but only about 'your' pocket and they are not even very smart about keeping you in business. They change the rules and prices at their own discretion and never consider 'you'. Ah, their wines are some of the worst in the valley. I strongly suggest you take your hard earned money somewhere else. read more

From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, the lack of attention customer service was overshadowed any potential enjoyment of the winery. As someone who appreciates the charm of wineries and the allure of a memorable stay, it pains me to write such a negative review. However, I believe it is important to provide an honest account of my experience at this Winery. The lackluster accommodations, subpar facilities, and apathetic customer service greatly detracted from the overall charm and appeal that I had expected. I hope that the management here takes this review seriously and addresses the evident shortcomings in their accommodations and customer service. The vineyard has so much potential, but unfortunately, our experience was a mixed bag. The restaurant was quite good, and the view is absolutely gorgeous--truly breathtaking and perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The charcuterie board was fantastic, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that paired well with the setting. However, I was not impressed with the wine. It just didn't live up to expectations, which was a bit disappointing for a vineyard visit. But the biggest issue was the music--it was terrible and completely ruined the vibe. Instead of something subtle and relaxing to complement the wine tasting, it was loud, jarring, and just didn't fit the atmosphere at all. The manager is such a joke she's rude. She's disgusting. Her behavior is unacceptable and she is a total embarrassment. I'm talking about the blonde one with the tattoos never ever have i experienced something like this. So my son Cody has worked here for a couple years, so if I have anything less than 5 stars I'd be in trouble but 5 stars are rightfully deserved! So I've only come in here once maybe twice But I came in today and wanted to say I love your mushrooms, the caprese was alright. Overall great though. Bjorn was a solid and great server, very friendly! Bri was so sweet I really liked her disposition and could tell she takes pride in what she does Shelby the host was sweet and funny, truly enjoyed coming in and seeing her smiling face. Also I don't drink usually because I'm very picky about taste and alcohol in general, but I had the sangria and I was delightfully surprised I had no idea my son was employed at such a great and beautiful place, I may come in a lot more often! read more

This was our last stop during our annual company wine tasting outing...the reason why we left this winery as our last stop was because we really wanted to leave the best for last. We loved their Sangria. I called in advance to make sure they had pitchers of sangria during the week, (our outing was on a Thursday), the girl on the phone said "Yes we do" of course when we arrived at the winery exited to have a nice glass sangria...we were told they don't have it during the week! This was very upsetting. My boss was very very unhappy with me.....to make a long story short, we will never return to this winery. Don't lie to people to lure them in during on slow weekdays. So very disappointed with Miramonte...shame on you!!! read more

I absolutely love this place! Everything we had was incredible. The honey flatbread, the stuffed mushrooms. I'm already worried I won't be able to bring myself to try anything else next time because they were that good. We sat outside, which made the atmosphere so fun, airy, and open. The DJ was fantastic too; the music was so good I couldn't stop dancing, and it looked like everyone else was having a blast as well. Our server was super friendly, and even the guy who let us know it was closing time was really nice about it. And a special shoutout to the bartender. It really made my night unforgettable. It was a shame the night had to end, everyone one at mira monte made it so much fun. read more

I really loved this winery. We took the tour which I found fascinating. If you can try to get Chris who is very interesting and personable. The winery itself is beautiful and the wines are wonderful. I am not a wine connoisseur by any stretch but I am able to tell the difference between delicious and bad and their wines were delicious. We bought 6 wine tastings for $20 which is pretty much what all the wineries charge. The only negative is that on the weekends it gets pretty crowded and you have to wait to be served. The inside seating area is not large but there is additional seating outside in a lovely setting. Nice place to spend a Saturday or a Sunday. read more

We're from Illinois, and we came to California at one of the hottest weeks. Which means we went to wineries on one of the hottest days, and we were so happy at Miramonte. So much of that has to do with our server Vanessa. She was truly a rockstar, and made sure we were cared for the whole time. Filled waters constantly, made friendly, warm, and welcoming conversation, and was SO knowledge about all of the wines we tasted and ordered. My husband purchased a Groupon for the VIP wine tour for 2 people for me as a gift! My best friend and I went yesterday, and let me tell you... I had the BEST time. Our tour guide Chris was hands down the best! Being my first time doing a wine tour I had no idea what to expect, but Chris was so informative, funny and seems to really enjoy his job. All qualities that are hard to find in customer service these days. After the tour I decided to sign up for the membership and bought my first two bottles of wine. Although it's an hour drive I will definitely be making Miramonte my weekend spot! read more

Stopped by this winery the other day and, well, I have to say I left feeling a bit underwhelmed. The food was quite good, no complaints there, and the wine was fine - nothing to write home about, but decent. What really threw me off was the service. It just didn't have that warm, attentive touch you'd expect from a place like this. I even noticed one of the employees had headphones in while working - not exactly the professional vibe I'm used to. Maybe it was just an off day, but here's hoping they can tighten things up next time! The place has potential if they can get back to the basics. read more

Please make this a go to spot for your next visit to Temecula! The wines, the food and the ambiance of this winery is second to none. If you are able to get into the wine tasting area, please ask for Chris (aka The Silver Fox) as he is very personable, knowledgable and cares what your palate preference is. He made it so enjoyable we actually stayed for dinner out on the terrace and it was equally enjoyable! If I could give the experience more than a 5 star rating, I would certainly do so. Our stay in Temecula was phenomenal, mainly due to our visit to Miramonte!!! We will be back!!! read more
