Nice ladies here but not very detailed in their work. This is my second visit. The first visit was ok but some of the edges of my nails were sloppy. But today was much worse. I got a new full set and ended up with one nail that looks like it broke off diagonal on the right side. And to top it off she left a blotch of gel nail color on the tip of my finger. She did offer to change the color tomorrow if I came back but they were rushing so fast to try and get out of there by closing time that there was no offer to fix it today. I arrived 2 hours before closing so there should've been plenty of time to fix it. But they kept taking in new customers even when all of them had clients so they rushed there work. I only went here because I got a gift card. It's not my normal spot, so I wasn't really excited about it. I went first thing in the morning during the week and was surprised at how crowded it was... bummer! The lady said it would be 15 minutes. What the heck... I would wait. The woman (who speaks perfect English) showed me the magazines and then insisted that I wait in a massage chair and made sure that it was on. Jackpot... a massage while I wait. I do have to say that I was thrilled about the massage chair. This one actually didn't hurt like many of them do. It also appeared very clean. My nail tech didn't speak English very well but was SUPER sweet. She asked me upfront if I wanted to stay in the massage chair for my manicure for an extra $2. I figured why not, I was liking the chair. (lightbulb moment: maybe that's why the lady wanted me to sit in it first). I'm not sure if the shoulder massage she gave me was part of the $2 but TOTALLY worth it. I could have fallen asleep in that chair. They also came to the chair to wax my eyebrows. I never had to move! The girl that waxed my eyebrows was gentle and quick. I left a happy customer and I may even have a new place! read more

Lyna is amazing! I have gotten my lashes done by a few different stylists and I can honestly say that she is the most particular and thorough I have ever had. I leave with my lashes looking perfect, super full and they stay in for over 3 weeks EVERY time. Her studio room is clean, super cute and chair is very comfortable. Not to mention she's the sweetest and very easy to talk to. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!! read more

They're extremely friendly here, which is a big plus, and my pedicure and gel mani turned out just fine, but I wasn't impressed with the salon itself, or the cleanliness. It was very much an OK experience. They're quite bad with the upsell, too. Asking me for this and that all through the service, including a pointed look at my eyebrows before asking if I wanted a wax. Um, just got them threaded but thanks for trying to guilt me into paying for more stuff. There's a whole lotta nail places out there (even if me and my mom are still searching for a truly good one in Cedar Park), and this one just doesn't stand out much above all the others. read more

I have been going to Mirada Nails for several years and have NEVER had a bad experience. I've introduced the ladies in the shop to several friends who are now loyal customers. My favorite nail tech is Amy - only because she was at another salon that I went to 4 years ago. They never rush through an appointment in an effort to expedite service for a "walk in" customer. I receive compliments on my acrylic nails EVERYWHERE I go, and my boyfriend did not realize my nails were acrylic for 5 months!! My good friend loves Sue for her nails, Angeligue is great as well!!! Prices are extremely competitive (possibly better) than local salons - but the service far exceeds others. The girls make it a point to get to know you and 90% of the time will recognize you as a repeat client! I can not speak too highly about this salon - After all these years, I consider them my friends! Give them a try!!! read more

I was in the shopping center where Mirada's is located and thought I would try them out. I was a walk in and they sat my right away. Jenny was great but on the slow side. The salon itself was not the cleanest place around and I agree with the other reviews bout the UPSALE. I am a big girl and know what I want, I really don't need you to try to tell me what you want to give me. No, I don't want a wax. No, I don't was upgrades and my nails. No, I don't want you to pull my nails off and start all over( WHY would I want that ) I most likely won't be back but I don't live in the area so no huge loss read more

I came here for a pedicure, and had a good experience. I've had a slightly better experience at a salon down at Anderson and 183, hence only 4 stars, but Mirada was still good. The salon was busy and bustling, but they still managed to get me in on a same-day appointment, and they were right on time. The massage chair was great -- although no one explained to me how to use it, so I didn't figure it out until halfway through the pedicure and ended up sitting in a slightly uncomfortable position for half the experience (I'm 9 months pregnant, so getting comfy is crucial!). The massage was nice, and didn't feel rushed at all. The lady who did it wasn't very talkative, but neither am I, so I didn't mind. She could probably tell I wasn't looking for constant conversation. The actual pedicure looks great, still flawless two days later, but she didn't quite get my heels as soft as I'd like (they tend to be very dry and scratchy). Overall, not the best pedicure I've ever had, but good enough to return since this place is so convenient to my house. read more

I used to live in CP just right around the corner from here. I have been going for about 3 yrs now. I moved to Round Rock about 4 months ago and tried 3 different nail salons close to home. They all were VERY dissapointing to say, the least!!! I have since started going to back to the BEST nail salon I have been to in my nearly 8 yrs of living in the Austin area. Wow! Great Salon -- I have been shopping around for a salon close to home. I searched via Yelp and Mirada was at the top of the list. So, I thought I'd give them a try --- I'm so glad I did. The deluxe pedi is AWESOME and I was lucky enough to catch a facial while I was there -- the prices are reasonable and the service is top notch. The ladies are very friendly, the environment is clean and I enjoyed my experience -- I felt very relaxed and the conversation was fun. I highly recommend a visit. read more

Amazing customer service! I went in to get a new set yesterday afternoon and noticed how my nails didn't look right once i was done. I called on the same day asking if they could just fix my thumb because it bothered me the most and when i came in, Lena told me that she would reshape them and repaint them for me. She was so nice and so patient. I even told her I was on a time crunch and she got the job done with time to spare! I really appreciated the hard work she put into doing my nails and now they look bomb! They definitely care about their clients and i'll definitely be back soon read more

I absolutely love Mirada Nails & Spa. I have been coming here for nearly 6 years, and my has this wonderful business grown. My two sisters, myself, my mother, step-mother come here, even grandmother and Aunt come here when they're in town! We all adore Mirada. I've never had bad service here before, and Tiffany, the owner is a wonderful soul. She's very flexible and understanding about what you want, when you want it and who you want it with. I walked out of Mirada feeling refreshed, and my nails/eyebrows look flawless, I get so many compliments on them! And where do I tell them it's done at? Mirada. If you get a choice, choose Amy to do your solar nails..shoot any nails! She's the sweetest and know what she's doing. If you can get Tiffany herself to do your eyebrows, you've got the jackpot. One of the best nail salons I've encountered. The ladies are sweet and will make sure you get what you asked for. Also, perfect place to get your lashes done. Ask for Lyna! She'll take care of you. Went to Amazing Lash Studio prior to Mirada and the extensions ended up stuck to one another and several of my real lashes were fell out so quick. Lyna minimized the damage done to my lashes and put a new set that complimented my eyes and the length was just what I wanted. It was much better quality and I was more than satisfied. read more

If I could give no starts I would. I have gone multiple times in the past two months and have never been completely satisfied but I kept wanting to give them a chance. Every time I have gone in, I have had a different tech which is no problem at all. The problem is that with every different tech they have ALL at some point in the service stopped to answer phone calls and use their cell phones. Today while I was getting a pedicure the technician half assed my leg massage so she could talk on FaceTime and have her conversation as she pleased. STRIKE NUMBER ONE. Then as always they up sold me on a design my design is on both of my big toes and are two totally different designs... Uh... What.... STRIKE NUMBER TWO. After that I got my nails done and the different technician proceeded to cut three of my fingers while using the machine to file down the top of my nails.. And to "polish" this whole ordeal off THE LADY ASKED WHAT GEL POLISH I WANTED and I picked it out for her and told her the number of it she STILL USED THE WRONG POLISH. Working in the service industry myself I deal with clients as well and would have never even had the chance to act like this. These ladies are rude and talk about the clients as well. 0 respect is shown to the clients. And don't even get me started on the cleanliness of the salon, these ladies double dip into everything, and do not clean up to tdlr standards. If an inspector came in they would be fined for many of different reasons. Ladies if you want to go to a good salon keep on driving past this one! read more

I am so sad to have to review this place with one star. I ADORE every one of the people who work there. I've been going there for YEARS, bringing locals and out of town guests alike and up until my last experience they would have received 4 stars from me. BUT - the last time I went in, I paid extra to upgrade to the gel nails so that my toes wouldn't chip and the color could last for a month. When the color changed from a beautiful pink to a sickly yellow within two days I thought for sure they would offer to redo my toes for me. I always pay extra for the upgrade and have never experienced this problem. I assumed they used the wrong top coat or something and that there was a weird chemical reaction. The response I got from the manager, Tiffany when I went in was that they cannot guarantee that the color won't change a little. (this was a HUGE difference that even she was shocked by). I cannot understand why anyone in the service industry (as I am myself) would choose to lose a loyal customer, and all of her friends and family instead of simply standing by their work and redoing it. SHAME ON YOU MIRADA NAILS. :( read more

I was getting my nails done for prom (just a simple French tip) and the lady was clearly sooo rushed. She filed my nails unevenly, painted them slightly crooked, and didn't wait until they were dry to paint the clear red (which she forgot on my right thumb!) so there's some visible white streaks in my nails. To top it all off, she didn't even remove all of the nail polish from the last time I did my nails so now there's several flecks of gold in what is supposed to be the clear part of the nail. I'm sure they are very good when you are getting a more expensive option, but she barely tried for mine. Not worth $19, I would not go back. read more

My dad sent me here for a mani/pedi when I came in to visit him for the weekend. My dogs were barkin! I had probably the best pedicure here I've ever had as far as the massage goes! She rubbed for at least 45 minutes. The lady who did my feet was really sweet, and while the lady who did my gel manicure was nice; she was very quiet and didn't talk to me unless she needed me to move my arm or something of the like. My water was just warm, so I asked her to heat it up and she did it with no problem! The owner is extremely nice, and thanked me for my visit. My only complaint would be that the salon could use a good cleaning. Old old magazines that are torn could be thrown away, and it never hurts to sweep the floors! But, I'll be back next time I'm in town for a great pedi! read more

I've been coming here just over a year! I've never had an issue with how my mani/pedi looks when I leave. Their are defiantly some ladies who take their time and some who rush but overall I've had a great experience! I love the manager she's on top of everything and makes sure things are done right! I recently moved to Cedar Park and my regular place is now a 30 minutes drive. Since this was the closest location to home, I decided to try it today. Overall experience was just okay. I called ahead and made an appointment, they were able to accommodate me the same day. The people were friendly. Things started well, but I was disappointed overall with the pedicure which lasted less than 30 mins, there was no massage component now that I think about it. I got the regular one for $25. I decided not to proceed with the manicure. May not go back if I can find another good spot in the area. read more

Absolutely worst experience! Don't waste your time. I walked in wanting a many and pedi. Pedi was done mediocre. My fingernails were a nightmare. When I asked to refile my nails so the shape and length matches in both hands, one of the employees asked if I wanted to continue it myself. I went into on a Wednesday at 5:30 to get a quick eyebrow max. When i walked the ladies were all busy with NO one waiting. They advised me they were to busy and to come back tomorrow. Um you never tell a customer you are to busy for them. You either give they an estimated time of when you could do their service but not say we are to busy to come back tomorrow. Most places will stop working on their client to help take care of another customer. I mean i wouldn't mind if someone stopped working on my pedicure because would last longer. With all of the nail & spa places around, drive past this one and keep going. Don't look back. I went into this place out of convenience one day to get pedi's for my daughter and I. Upon walking in, the owner was super sweet and nice and asked what we needed. I told her and she said they were very busy (there were 3 ladies getting services at the time) and asked if we could come back around 3pm that day (it was 10am that morning). I figured we could arrange our errands and appointments to accommodate this, so I told her 3pm would work. She wrote my name down on a calendar and said she would see us at 3pm. 3pm rolls around and my daughter and I have squeezed our errands into this magical time-frame but we walked in, excited and ready to have our toes done. We stood at the door for a few minutes and noticed that all of the pedicure chairs were full. The place looked busier than when we left at 10am that morning. A few minutes later the owner came from the back and said "Hi, how may I help you?" I said, with a big smile on my face, "We were here this morning and you told us to come back at 3pm. It's 3!" She said "Oh, well we are very busy right now - can you come back tomorrow at 10am?" I looked at her like she had to be INSANE. Why would I leave and go back for a third time? Especially when we made a so-called "appointment" earlier the very same day? What kind of customer service is this? I calmly said "Um, why did you tell me to come back at 3 if you weren't going to honor that time for us?" She said "We got many clients and are very busy. " I just left and have not and will not ever go back. Ridiculous. I'm done with this place. Been a regular for years and every single time I've gone the past 6 months or so - something went wrong. Nails cut too short or not enough, uneven trims, poor polish jobs, cuts to skin, etc. Cleanliness of the salon is/has been a huge concern. Hate all the up sells they do, but can deal with that. The nail techs seriously concern me with the continual use of their (dirty) cell phones while doing manicures and pedicures. What is up with that?! They put gloves on...then proceed to "touch" everything around them including their cell phones (which are proven to have more germs than a toilet)...then put their phone in their (dirty?) pocket or lay them on the dirty floor...and then start working on Manis/Pedis again. Which means everyone gets germs from the previous clients as well. This does NOT seem like an acceptable protocol. A few days ago, I went in for a pedicure (the hopeless optimist that things will get better like before!). Long story short, I ended up at Urgent Care yesterday with severe toe pain next to the nail, red and swollen. Doctor put me on antibiotics 2x/day for 2 weeks due to an infection from the pedicure procedure. Out of curiosity, I just looked online at the state licensing website to see if this salon has had any similar complaints - their license to operate is EXPIRED! Wish I'd known that earlier this week and I would NOT have went to this place. Sure could've saved myself alot of pain, money, & stress. Tried this place with my daughter in law today for the first time. It was a Sunday and we didn't have an appointment but they worked us in with a slight wait after the manager checked the appointment book. Both of us were taken great care of. I didn't feel rushed even though they were busy. The manager was definitely on top of things. We'll definitely be back, but will take her advice and call ahead. read more

What a treat! A nail spa with compassion for us ladies with sensitive nails and finger tips. I did my research and walked in early on a Monday at 10am. Everyone was busy but bothered to look up and say hello. I asked to use the restroom first, you can always tell how clean a place REALLY is just by how well the bathroom is kept. Bathroom was clean, up to date, simplistic, with a stack of clean cloth hand towels...very nice touch, no paper towels. A wicker basket was below for the used towels. Stephanie had just gotten there. I passed her on my way to the bathroom and she smiled cheerfully while giving a hello. WOW, you can't go wrong with a smile on a Monday morning. I came out and noted the very well kept, clean salon. Oh and somebody did not go cheap on the furnishings. Beautiful foot basins and pedi chairs. Stephanie called me over; she was ready faster than I would have been on a Monday. I sat down and immediately noted how clean her equipment and work area were. Ok, so I'm not a clean freak but when it comes to someone touching my body, I'm sort of into sterility. Do you blame me??? Stephanie asked what I would like, I told her square short acrylic nails filled with a nice french manicure that I could show off for her. She smiled and giggled. I was a fill project as I was coming from a salon in Round Rock that was just too far away. I complained about how thick my nails were, so thick that I could not open the charge port door on my phone; I'd been using a gift card to pry it open for the last 2 weeks...ANNOYING She totally understood me and listened!! Bonus!! She was meticulous and careful as I watched an HGTV show on the big screen above me. She had to completely replace one nail and the glue stuck to my skin. As I tried to pry it away a little bit of my skin tore, ugh... she did something I'd never seen before, she put super glue on the tear so the file wouldn't hurt it again. She apologized over and over. Just a super sweet caring person and very good at her job. Another bonus was the drying station with cool fans. No gizmo with lights that can burn sensitive fingers and turn french white yellow. So happy I've found my close to home relaxing nail spa. Stephanie is my go to girl! Do: Bring cash for the tip. It's easier for them and It's respectfully asked. Be a nice patron, bring a positive attitude. Make an appointment, it gets busy. read more
