Dan was my nail tech today. I needed to have my old gel polish removed. Dan carefully worked around a small area where I had a small paper cut on my cuticle. He was very careful to avoid the area. A fresh gel polish was applied, stone red number 477. It's my favorite color now. The Daisy brand comes in a regular polish and gel. Most times I use regular on my toes and gel on my hands as I do a lot of work with my hands and the gel holds up longer. Always happy with the service here. This is a great nail salon, but it is appointment only. The salon is very organized so it may not be the place to go on a whim. The staff is sweet & sociable. Wonderful, wonderful salon! It's a small, mother-son team, and they are the sweetest, most amazing people. Great attention to detail, my nails came out literally perfect - I've never had that happen at any of the nearby bigger salons. The conversation was lovely, and they took such good care of my two daughters - age 5 and 10. Their nails are perfect too, and they were so kind to them. They have snacks for the little ones and a bird feeder with different bird visitors to entertain them. Very cost-effective and just an all around perfect experience. I have bounced around nail salons for a while. Today, I think I found my new favorite place. I recommend making an appointment. I called the day before and got in no problem. My appt was first thing at 10am when they open. They opened their doors a few minutes early. I was immediately greeted. The place was clean. I didn't feel pressured into getting any upgrades. She did a great job and took her time. She asked if I liked the color I had picked and I didn't. I could tell that she didn't like it either. Usually I hate being difficult but she seemed to want to change it to, so she went and grabbed a new color and I really like what she picked. I will definitely be back here! read more

I rarely have felt so unappreciated as a new customer as I did at this salon. I made reservations for pedicures for me and a friend and a manicure for my mom. We came on time and there was only one tech to do anything at a time, so we waited. That's no big deal, but everything felt rushed. What was really inappropriate is that some regulars came in that the owner (I think he owner, as he seemed in charge) knew by name, and we suddenly became second class citizens. My mom, who had been waiting 45 minutes, had to wait even longer while the regular was immediately seated and tended to by the owner personally. If we had been walk-ins maybe this would be ok, but it was 45 minutes after her appointment time and this other person JUST walked in the door. When a second regular arrived for a pedicure, my technician went into rush mode. After hearing the owner say, "She's almost done," she only massaged one of my legs! The second leg got 30 seconds of massage. At the end, she messed up my big toe putting on my shoe, and instead of fixing it correctly, she took part of the polish off and put it back on, leaving it uneven. And, to add insult to injury, she was in such a hurry she got stuff all over the chair and that left a sticky residue on the back of my knees and I had to go back in and get a wet towel to clean it. All in all, it was disappointing. While it's important to make repeat customers happy, it is extremely unprofessional to alienate new customers. The salon was clean and neat, and I think they probably can do good work, but I am really disappointed by how we were treated as soon as the regulars appeared. One plus was that the woman who finally helped my mom was really good and friendly. read more

I wish this business would appreciate paying customers a little bit more. I waited over 30 min after my appointment time. No aknolage whatsoever; I just sat until it was my turn--no music, no tv, just dead silence. I was also quoted one price over the phone and when I paid, it was over $20 more than what I was quoted, claiming that my nails were too long. Overall my nails came out okay. Also, they used a different polish than the one I picked for my pedicure. I was too embarrassed for them and the poor service to say anything. I will not be returning. I can spend $100 on a gel fill and a pedicure anywhere where they will appreciate my business. read more

I made an appointment knowing that businesses are having to work differently with the Covid guidelines and wanted to support them as a local small business.
