My family came here for mother's day brunch last weekend. I ordered the Aguacates Rancheros which was a really nice, light meal. The flavors were balanced and I really enjoyed the potatoes and avocado combo. We also ordered the coconut cake and the coconut flan to share. I was a bit lukewarm about the flan because I could taste the egg a little bit more than I would have liked (more coconut flavor would have been good in my opinion). The cake was bomb though. Not too sweet and a good combination of flavors. I didn't get to sample the complimentary dessert they gave in honor of Mother's day but I really appreciated the gesture. The staff were all incredibly helpful, positive, and friendly individuals. If I lived close I'd definitely be a frequent customer, just going in to get a coffee and pastry to enjoy while doing work. I have driven by this diamond in the rough millions of times and never new this place existed! If I could describe the service and food in one word it would be "Superb". The host at the front desk was professional yet humorous and very energetic. We order the Hot Mama Torta with al pastor meat and the enchiladas with chicken tinga. Meet Damaris and Martin, the wife and husband duo and brains behind Miracle Bakery with creative bakeries items such as lavender donuts using fresh lavender or mojito donuts. These are just a few examples for this wonderful cafe. They also have a breakfast and lunch menu. We had the breakfast burrito and huevos Rancheros as well as an assortment of their pastries. I spoke to them about the meaning behind the name of their cafe/bakery which is a wonderful story, a story of how they appreciate life and how personal dreams can come true which makes places like this a must place to support. We returned one last time to sample lemon and date rugulaah, cheese pastry and chocolate croissant. I highly recommend the Leon/date rugulaah. Nicely layered gooey goodness and surprisingly filling. Long overdue review-- I was super disappointed with this place. Went out of my way to try it out because of the great reviews, despite being a bit pressed for time. The inside was clean and seemed cozy enough. The service was friendly and I think the owner greeted me while I was waiting for my food (he was very nice), but that's where the positive stops. My food took like 30+ minutes after I ordered (all I got that needed to be made were the chilaquiles. There was literally one person ahead of me and no one else waiting, so it's not like the place was busy). Everything I got was really disappointing. They didn't have asada when I tried to order some tacos, which seems to be a frequently occurring issue, as other reviews mentioned the same. My doughnuts (vegan churro and strawberry) were greasy and tasted old/stale. They were the only two left and it was late morning, but I was surprised at how bad it was.. It's not like it was sitting out all day or anything. I also got an order of the chilaquiles, which as mentioned before took over 30 minutes to make. I was surprised because I've gotten this at other places and it has rarely taken that long, unless we had a large order or the place was super busy or something. But also, idk what goes into making it so maybe that's normal. It was frustrating because I was in a rush and the food did not even end up being good. The chips tasted stale and old and it was lukewarm. I did get my food to go, but I tried a bite of the chilaquiles in the car because I wanted to get an accurate taste of the food, which I was expecting would be freshly made and the correct temperature. A couple of other negatives-- they don't have wifi or bathrooms for customers. Sadly, I definitely won't be back and wouldn't recommend to others. read more

We left Cafe de Olla after the rude hostess greeted us with no eye contact and told us there would be an hour wait. Came to Miracle Bakery to try our luck there and the workers greeted us and treated us like part of their family. Got the loaded chilaquiles with asada. My boyfriend and I shared this plate and we still had food left over. The green sauce was just the right amount of spice and acidity. They were definitely loaded with whole pinto beans, cheese and asada meat. We also got the French toast too but I didn't like that it was on brioche bread as it was too thick and felt like the egg mixture didn't soak through. My boyfriend and I have come to this place multiple times now. Probably a dozen by now. Every single time we walk in we are greeted by whom I am assuming is the owner. The kindest man! The food, coffee, and pastries are always SPECTACULAR. My favorite chicken burrito in town. It just tastes fresh and homemade. It's a fairly quiet cafe but it feels like home whenever we come in. I visit this bakery several times a week for a quick lunch. I usually get the egg breakfast sandwich and it's so tasty! It's very reasonable at $6. Their baked goods are always great & the lavender donut is a favorite. I've had their chai and that was also good. It's a cute cafe with bright indoor seating & outdoor seating at bistro tables with shade umbrellas. It can get busy-ish at lunch some days but I think that's bc their food & service is great! Even on busy days they're quick to accommodate & the wait isn't long. I work from home & am immunocompromised so I don't get out a lot. My trips here are a real highlight in my day. I found this gem over the summer and didn't think much of it, but found myself coming back and craving their coffee or cookies. My husband absolutely loves their Breakfast Potato Burrito - it comes with Pinto beans, which is a pleasant addition. The drinks are made to order, pastries are always good and fresh and the staff is very kind. There's about 5 tables off to the side to eat at, which is nice during covid. Friendly staff, great ambiance and delicious food. It's pricey, I paid 40- something for chilaquiles loaded, a breakfast plate, latte and hibiscus tea(which was very bitter). The only problem was how long our food took to arrive. We waited 45 minutes, watching other people get their burrito before we were served. Mind you I left a tip over 25%. Usually when you tip good you get "better service" lol. No one came to check on us once. So I asked the staff how much longer? She said it's coming out, and it did. 7 minutes later, meaning they forgot about our order. When things like this happen, a free pastry or an apology usually make up for it.. lol. But no, we didn't get anything just some extra sausages because my boyfriend wanted extra bacon but they brought us sausage. I wouldn't come here again, unless I REALLY craved the chilaquiles.
