Yelp reviewers were right about this place -- clean, nice job, friendly staff, and prices were very comparable to other nail salons! The owner, Lana, was there and was super friendly. I had to wait about 10 minutes (as I did not have an appointment), but I didn't mind as I was not in a rush and it gave me time to look for my nail polish colour. She also offered me some tea or water while waiting, which I declined since I wasn't thirsty at the time. The girl who did my manicure, Noewa, did an excellent job and didn't rush at all. During my manicure, Lana came back to ask if I wanted tea or water this time, and I happily took a cup of tea, which was so nice! Just before my nails were done, I overheard Lana ask Noewa (in a motherly way) if she had taken a break and to get something to eat. If you ask me, that's a nice boss to have, making sure her staff gets the proper treatment! I'm not sure if these 2 ladies were related, but it was still a nice thing for Lana to do. To top it off, they have a stamp/loyalty card, which gives you $5 off after your 5th and 10th visit. (it was not at all busy, several nail techs available) She seemed pleasant enough, told her it was my first visit, she said I will try try do a good job for you. The lady was extremely rough while filing my nails, cut me with cuticle trimmers while trimming nails and over all missed many steps in the process and overall was very inconsistent, clearly not looking for repeat customers or trained well. The pedicure was 50 minutes long which included a foot soak, polish removal, cuticle care, exfoliation, trimming and shaping of nails, massage and polish application. The massage was very good and lasted longer than what I usually expected. My only complaint was the polish application has room for improvement. It was a rushed job as the salon was packed. Pedicure service included cuticle care, nail cutting, shaping, foot scrub, a decent lower leg massage and a polish application. The foot scrub consisted of using a pumice stone (part of nail kit) to scrub the foot. I would have liked a body scrub for the lower legs. Overall, it was a decent basic pedicure service for the price. Service was about 40 minutes plus drying time with a fan. I thought that was great that they made sure your nails were dry before you leave. Overall, 3.5 star experience. COVID precautions were in place. Staff wore face masks. Hand sanitizer was available. There were plastic barriers between customers and staff.

The day of our appointment, We arrived on time... all the ladies were busy and there was no one at the front desk. The nail techs stared at us... and that's all.. no greetings or anything. After several "Excuse me" and eye stares ... 15mins passed our appointment time, we finally got one of the ladies to send a little reluctant boy to ask if we had an appointment, and to choose colours. After, waiting for several more mins... Now 38mins passed our appointment time. We were under the impression that they didn't care. My friend and I didn't want to waste anymore time, so we told them we were leaving. In which, we received an "OK " as their response. My impression on this place is not bad or good. But, if they cannot be bothered with booked appointments or Greetings.... why waste time coming here.
