My mother had the exact same issue where she was barely in there for half an hour and it felt rushed to her as well When getting a full pedicure. if you are paying 50$ you want to enjoy it, get a decent rub and know they took time to do your nails without missing anything.

After trying a couple of other places where they were less than stellar, I guess I should make an effort to travel back to New West to have my pedicure. Since it is in the same plaza as IT Char burger, I can kill two birds with one stone. Pedicure and burger. Winning combination. Friendly staff and reasonable prices (thankfully no increase). He said "yes. I said you don't like the colour and I said it's a bit late now hahaha." Humiliated, I started to cry. As I paid, clearly upset by the experience, I was asked what happened- when I explained I received no apology, and no understanding. Instead I was told how much it was and handed the POS machine to pay. Needless to say, I will not be back.

We thought it would be some hair treatments similar to a facial but for hair but it was just shampoo and conditioner. The worst part of it was that the technicians aggresively scratch your head so hard. It felt like my skin was being torn off. Quite painful ever after asking for softer force. It was not pleasant nor relaxing at all. They shampoo twice and condition once and then blow dry your hair. They ask you to sit up to do some massaging on your shoulders. Then you are asked to sit in front of a mirror where they serve you cold water and finish blow drying. Then the 'spa' treatment is done and they start to clean up the room and ask you to change.. but they're still there and the door is also wide open to the public area. The technicians were nice people but they really need to reformat their spa style. I also noticed they had extremely long nails which I assumed they also work at the nail salon. This may be the reason why their head scratching hurts a lot.
