I have been getting my nails done here for almost 2 years and I have always had amazing experiences, until today. I got a french manicure and pedicure done yesterday which was done amazing and when I got up this morning I realized one of my toes had a chip in the white polish. I went in to the salon not thinking it would be a big deal to see if I could get it fixed before my trip and the lady who came to assist me was extremely rude and made me very uncomfortable for even asking to get it fixed. I never complained about the service and she made it seem like I was a huge inconvenience, was giving me dirty looks, talking to the other employees and even though I couldn't understand exactly what she was saying it was very obvious she was not talking very nice of me. This was very embarrassing and she even had the nerve to tell me to call next time after she started to fix my nail. The previous owners were wonderful and had great service and staff ALWAYS. Since the recent transition things have changed. I never leave bad reviews but I wanted to this time in hopes the new owners read this and can understand how rude this one particular employee was. Having staff like this will turn clients away very quickly. Even though this is a convenient salon for me, I am really considering never going back because of this awful treatment and how embarrassed this employee made me feel for such a small ask. read more

This is a nail salon in the Fraser Heights area. I picked the essential pedicure ($35). The staff used a plastic liner in the pedicure bowl. There was a choice of salt for the foot soak (I picked orange). This pedicure included soak, file, shaping, cuticle care, massage, hot towel and polish. The massage was very good and lasted quite some time. We were not rushed out the door and were offered tea/water to drink. Prices are a little more than similar nail salons in the area. However, the salon is very clean. Staff were very professional and did not chat amongst themselves while working on clients. Also, you can purchase a pedicure kit that you can bring back on your subsequent visits for hygienic reasons. read more

I went to surprise nail yesterday for a hot wax mani pedi. What a treat! I have never had this type of treatment before but it was amazing. I've had rough feet for so long I forgot what smooth soft feet feel like lol. If you are looking for a treat on a stressful day, or birthday I highly recommend this place. I've gone back twice since my first review posted. I felt my second time (May 10,2018) was still like the first. The gel was applied extremely thick again. My toe nails looked so funny, I was embarrassed to wear open toe shoes. The tech did take her time ( over an hour) & service was great. I do feel it was a bit pricey! Pedicure $50 plus gel $15 plus paraffin $10 total $75 for a Pedicure!! Today My third time (June 23,2018) my Gel was applied properly. The tech doesn't take enough time cleaning around the the nail beds clearing the dead skin. I felt my pedicure was rushed due to over booking and not enough staff. Today I got the cheaper pedicure $35 plus the gel $15, total $50 plus 15% tip. I don't pay $60 to be rushed in and out with in 40 minutes. Will I go back... I'm not sure at this point. The moment I walked in I was impressed with the cleanliness. The foot soak tub was lined with removable plastic, all utensils were either soaking in sterilize solution or in the sterilizer. All utensils the tech used on me were fresh from the sterilizer or opened fresh from new packaging. This is the first salon I've experienced with this standard of cleanliness. The technician took her time with my mani/pedi and I didn't feel like she was rushing through it at all, which is generally the feeling I've had at other salons. The 2 ladies working were very friendly, spoke in English to one another the entire time (other salons the staff seems to speak to one another in languages other than English), and made me feel very welcome. I watched as the owner thoroughly cleaned every surface and under every cabinet as she did the end of the day clean up. She didn't just sweep and mopped the general area, she moved everything to do a thorough sweep and wash. Very impressed with her thoroughness for cleaning. It's been 24 hours since my mani/pedi and my cuticles and polish look amazing. My cuticles don't look like they were quickly trimmed and hacked and not done properly, which is usually how they look the day after getting them done. This place is so clean in comparison to other places I've been to. I got acrylics done, and it cost me a bit more but it was worth it, as the nail technician took her time, making sure everything was even. I will suggest that if the tech suggests to do something to your nails, that you ask if there is an extra charge so as not be to be surprised when you see your bill. Update: Really wish the nail tech I see would take their time and pay attention to detail like she did my very first time there... After my first visit, I've noticed the nail tech rushes through the job, leaving my nails and the color uneven :( I left a tip only to be nice but left extremely unhappy. I've been to many nail salons ... and this is BY FAR THE best place to get a pedicure and manicure! We got the deluxe pedicure package .. and let me tell you, they spent 1.5 hours on my feet and legs! The massage was amazing! This package is well priced for the amount of services that you get. I liked the place so much I went back two days later for a manicure! I chose the regular manicure but it was equally AMAZING. The nail techs speak in English and they make conversation with you. They cannot do shellac properly. I had one done a couple of weeks ago and shellac was lifting off the nail bed on some of my fingers after only 2 days! The nail techs are nice but this one skinny girl's work is rushed and she's quite rough. I would never go back to them. Don't even waste your time and money. read more

This trip was a surprise by my boyfriend, he booked it based on the numerous good reviews online. The lounge was very clean and the attendants were very polite. I liked how they gave the option of buying your own buffer and essentials package for $3. I got the basic mani (shellac) and pedi (polish), their prices are higher than a lot of the salons I have been too, but this was my first time in one in Surrey so I didn't say anything. The end product was simple and clean - just as I wanted. Just after 2 days, my shellac manicure started to lift and by day 3 three nails had fully came off. I ended up just peeling off the remainder as I was not driving back an hour to get it fixed. This is ridiculous as this manicure was pricier than my normal and lasted only three days?! Friendly service, affordable prices, SUPER CLEAN inside along with their tools/machines. I got a shellac manicure done and I was in and out of there in 45 minutes and I didn't feel my nail tech did a rushed job, in fact she was very thorough! Definitely one of the better nail salons in Surrey that stands out amongst the others. Definitely recommend and will be back. Update: I came back to get my shellac manicure removed and to get a new manicure, I think the nail tech was rather busy that day and I called in to make an appointment for the same day about an hour and a half for my appointment and she gladly took me in. However during my manicure I felt like she cut some corners to save time because when she started to do my nails, someone called in asking for an appointment that evening and couldn't do a later time that the nail tech offered so she came in at 5:30pm (my appointment started at 5 but I came in at 4:30 and she tried calling to schedule me later but I didn't pick up) so my appointment was half an hour, 15 minutes for shellac removal 15 minutes for the manicure. No hot towel, no nail trim/cuticle cutting, massage, or hand soak. I paid around the same price for my previous manicure with all of the above included. I'm not sure why this happened maybe because of the other person that called in after my appointment, I do understand if she was trying to accommodate everyone by taking them in but I was a little disappointed since she didn't take the time to do a thorough manicure. :( the manicure itself was decent, not as clean as my previous ones but I'll be back just to see if this was a busy/understaffed day for the nail tech. read more

Located in Fraser Heights, by far the best nail establishment I have ever been to, between Ontario, Manitoba and British Columbia this one in particular is my favourite. They are fast and efficient, experienced, and very awesome to be around. Sandy has done my shellac; and I have never been more pleased. The salon is very clean and comfortable. Excellent service. Friendly staff. A bit more pricey than other places but the quality and cleanliness is better here. One star taken off because although they use an autoclave to sterilize metal tools, they reuse emery filers and pumice stones, which cannot be sterilized.
