I've been looking for a good eyebrow specialist for years. I spent a lot of time going to places that would spend too much time trying to fix the mess the previous place would make. After much complaining, I was referred to Kamal's Day Spa through a friend. She raved about Kamal's 20+ years of experience in the esthetics field and how it definitely shows in her eyebrows. I made an appointment with Kamal and by the time I left, I knew that I met my new eyebrow lady for life! First of all, I was impressed with the cleanliness of her home salon. I know from past experience that a clean salon reflects the type of service you will get. Second, I explained to her that my eyebrows were a mess- patchiness, and uneven brows. She carefully examined my eyebrows and determined what style would suit my face, while still keeping in mind my request of the certain thickness I want. Kamal took her time and by the time I looked in the mirror, I was over-joyed at the reality that my eyebrows have been saved. I had no need to fill in the patchiness with a pencil or worry that it didn't suit my face. The bonus is the threading didn't even hurt. Another service I recently tried at Kamal's is waxing. I am really picky with the type of wax I use because of my hyper sensitive skin. I've been to other salons that use wax with harsh irritants that would cause redness and rashes. Kamal's approach to waxing is simple- all natural. Her wax is botanically based, all natural ingredients, and she makes it herself from scratch. My legs were smooth with no redness or rashes, and I didn't have to shave for weeks. I recently went to see Kamal for reihki treatment to help with my anxiety which was really bad to the point where I could not sleep at all and I felt clausterphobic all the time. It was affecting my daily living. I recently heard about reikhi from a relative and then realized Kamal offered this service. I have known Kamal for over 10 years and feel very comfortable and at ease with her. I trust her completely. I would not have gone to anyone else for this treatment. I did not know what to expect. I was a bit nervous. We talked for over an hour before the session and an hour after. She spent almost 3 hours with me. I went home that night not feeling any different. I went to sleep, yes sleep, with zero anxiety and I slept thru the night! Its been 2 weeks and I have not had any anxiety or negative feelings at all. I started going to Kamal's Day Spa a few months ago when I saw on her instagram she uses a sanitary way of threading eyebrows. My skin is very acne prone and going to regular eyebrow threading places I would end up with breakouts just a day after getting my eyebrows threaded. After meeting with her a few times she suggested that I should get a acne treatment facial in which would help me reduce my acne and also help reduce the appearance of my acne scars. Today, I got my first facial from her and it was everything she said it would be! Just after one session my acne scars have lightened up a significant amount. The whole experience was very relaxing. She customizes her masks according to your skin type (which is something you don't receive at a regular facial company). After the facial my skin felt extremely hydrated and refreshed. Kamal's Day Spa is the ONLY place i will go to for my lasering needs. It took alot of persuading on Kamal's, the owner, part to convince me to let go of my fears towards laser hair removal. She asked me what I would like and she did wonderful. Most place here in Surrey don't even ask what you would like.
