They did a good job with my move and the prices were reasonable. They arrived on time, in fact, early, but due to my reservation for the condo elevator, they couldn't start earlier. The movers were in company T shirts when they arrived and the main guy was able to communicate well with me with good English. They were all friendly and professional. I've asked around a few moving companies and they're the most affordable and still with a good rating so I decided to give them a shot. So glad I did because my friend who also hired them based on my recommendation thought they're good too. It was also easy to get in touch with the office for the booking. Sahara was friendly and communicated well with the prices and the services they offered. If you need junk removal and cleaning, they provide those services too for extra fees. Overall I was pleased. Nothing broke, damaged or scratched. They dropped off our boxes and furniture in the room we wanted. They finished at a decent amount of time with circumstances out of their control (elevator got hijacked by other residents without proper reservation in both condos), but the movers tried their best to move efficiently. read more

Today I had my move scheduled and I requested for two movers. Booking and scheduling was extremely easy and convenient as you can text their number and they respond very quickly. Ronnie and Darien were the coolest movers ever. They made the move easy and painless. I appreciated that Ronnie called to see if I wanted them to swing by a little earlier. I recently hired this company Tuesday Dec 27th 2022 to be exact to move my place. Before I left I told the movers, they will need to remove the doors because when I moved into my old place they had to remove the door to get the furniture in. And the guy said no there's no need. My sister stayed back to watch them while I was at our new home. I go to my old place today to meet the cleaners I hired and noticed that they took a part off the screen door. When I called I spoke to a lady named Sahara. She asked me to send a photo. So I did. She sends a text message back saying the manager on site said that it was already off when they got there. FIRST lie. But if I want to speak with the manager I can call him. I call back right after I received the text message and Sahara is in a meeting and I'm speaking with Sonny who sounds just like Sahara how crazy. I tell her what happen and she so confidently says Oh no, they didn't take it off. It was off when they got there. I calmly said why would I need to lie about this. And her response was very defensive she said "exactly. Why would we need to lie about it? Do you have pictures or photos to prove this?" Unbelievable. So I hang up and I send an email requesting to speak with the owner or higher up regarding the unprofessional level of customer service. And who calls? This Sonny lady once again in her "professional voice" says "The best way I can explain this to you is your cousin is lying to you, they said they saw her remove it." So now it went from it was already off when they got there to they saw my cousin remove it. The amount of energy this lady has to fabricate stories is beyond imagination. I asked her to please not call me again I only want to deal with the owner. And then I check my email and will you look at the response. There is lack of integrity with the workers and no accountability. My family who stayed back with you all wouldn't even know where to start to remove the door closer. Now that you have received your payment, this company refuses to own up to their actions. They broke the door closer and are refusing to take responsibility. And now that I'm realizing it two days later validates that I'm in the wrong according to her email. SMH And in her words "That's the best way I can explain it." Please do not waste your hard earned money on this company. If I could give them zero stars, I would. And I'm sure I'll receive a fabricated made up story response to this review. UPDATE- Sunny, You and your team are clearly not on the same page. You claim to have three stories stating they saw it removed. Please read the text messages from the part owner Thomas stating he didn't not even step out of the truck. Quit with your lies! What you have is lack of responsibility and ownership! Mint movers did a good job helping us move when we bought a house. They were very polite and on time. However they did not have enough helpers during the move. We ended up moving all of our things with them. We hired them to move our things but did quite a bit of work for the price we paid. Certainly needed more man power during our move. I would give them another chance in the future. However I would request people who could lift heavier things (eg. couches, mirrors etc). read more

Photos of screenshot of employee interaction after they said they are on the way and never showed up. No response after repeated attempts to call. Only responded after he realized we saw him drive by for his "15min delivery attempt". 2-6pm window turned into a 7pm "we're 2min out" and never showed up or responded again until 8pm. Not looking for any compensation or anything. Just want to protect as many people as I can from having this frustrating experience. Requested another company to make the deliveries moving forward. And just a fyi for any future appliance buyers, when you order appliances from Home Depot/Lowe's/Best Buy/etc, you can request a certain delivery/moving company Would never trust them to move my things or enter my home if this is the level of professionalism. I used both moving and cleaning services. The customer service was excellent. However, the movers broke 2 TVs. Customer service was great, but it still should not have happened. Read the fine print carefully on replacing damaged items. One fairly new 32" TV was only going to be replaced for $3, according to the signed contract but Heidi was nice enough to offer $50 which was still not enough to cover a replacement TV, but we were grateful to get $50 rather than $3. The cleaning services I do not recommend. The cleaners they sent for a move out did a poor job. They didn't appear to bring a vacuum or mop. There was still obvious places they missed and did not smell clean at all. Our placed smelled like dirt, which is not what it usually smells like. Our place wasn't dirty, just needed a move out clean to make it sparkle. The cleaners ended up coming a second time. We had to show them what was obvious they missed. read more

I had a medium house fire at out condo 2 months ago. It started in the living room but i had to go through everything in the cabinets in the kitchen too because there was smoke ashes everywhere. Note: Mint does not specialze in fire restoration, but I had a limited budget and a couple restoration companies quote me from $5,000-$20k for restoring my house. It is out of the question to spend money i dont have bc im a stay at home mom. And insurance wasnt going to pay for it. So when i got Mint to come, i let them know what I wanted, my budget, and then they worked with me. They saved me countless hours of doing it myself and wiping down everything in the living room, kitchen, kitchen cabinets and bathroom. They move efficiently through each room and pack all your belongs with care. They moved me off island via Young Brothers and took care of everything! All you need to know about this company can be found in the images I uploaded. The way they treat their customers is hard to fathom. I made an appointment for 5/5 at 9AM. Apparently I was supposed to receive an email to pay a deposit for the appointment. I never received any email or follow up contact. Then the appointment was cancelled without notifying me. I moved my whole week around to make sure I was home for the cleaning. When the cleaners didn't show, I called at 9:30. I was told it was my fault I didn't pay the deposit or follow up. I don't know about you, but I'm an adult with endless responsibilities. I expect a company to tell me if they need something that they haven't gotten for a commitment that they made. Instead, I had a completely unprofessional owner trying to blame me for this. See attached images of our text conversation. This is a business that got a new large contract recently and clearly can't handle the volume of business to which they've committed. If you book appointments with them, you'll be their last priority for a workload that they already can't handle. Mint Moving Solutions were affordable, fast and efficient! I sent out a YELP project request and had several companies respond. All of them were in about the same price range. I chose Mint because they lowered the rate just a tad bit to hedge out the others. There was a problem with the paperwork due to a mistyped email address, but the error was caught and corrected quickly. The crew arrived at the Kapolei address to pickup an upright piano and was out of there in about 15 minutes. They arrived in Kailua to drop off the piano and was out of there in less than 10 minutes. The supervisor mentioned that there were stairs at the first location (which I was unaware of), but when I asked the office supervisor if there would be an extra charge, she said they would waive the stairs fee due to the mishap with the paperwork. A flawless execution of a piano move. Can't ask for anything more. I would use them again. read more

Rescheduled my first appointment 3.5 hrs before scheduled time. Then is a no show no call for next 9am meeting for quote. Text at 9am if they are still coming. Text them again around 920am just to say "I guess not"...then responds coming now. So yea. A bit upset about it. I waited at home patiently and didn't do my 8am errands cause your business wanted 9am. I was flexible and you didn't show up on time. Wasted yesterday's time and about a 1.5 hrs of my time this morning. If you gonna be late ... communicate. If you sloppy with time management im not sure how you will be with your work. Didn't get to actually hire them because of communication issues... I sent messages on Yelp just to get info and I like that Minit Moving offers cleaning and moving services. They also had really great reviews so I was feeling this company would work out. I don't like being last minute, if I can book/reserve things in advance I do. On Monday I sent a text to ask if he can come out on Thursday anytime after 10am to do an estimate. I get a text back, "yes that would [be] fine" The reason I specifically chose Thursday was because I was off and it was the same day I'd get the keys for the new place. I thought it would help to see where I'm at and where I'm going and that would help with an estimate. It's now Thursday and I don't hear from him what time works... So I send a text around noon to try get the ball rolling. No answer back. I figure wait a bit longer, I did say anytime after 10am is ok... I gave up all hope for someone to come out after 5pm... I did get a voicemail the next day, while I was working... He could come out around 5 or 6 (forgot time) to do an estimate... but I'm working and can't answer my phone. And at 6 I'm still working so I can't meet... And this is why Thursday had worked out better for me.. -_- Lack of communication on Thursday left a bad taste and I was already researching other companies on Friday, need to book something soon so I can stress about the move less. It honestly would have been better getting a text saying he can't make it instead of nothing at all. Would recommend if you have a flexible schedule to meet, if not look elsewhere. To owners message: Phone logs show a call was received the following day, not on Thursday. And by that Friday I was over it so there was no reason to respond. Mmmm.I am writing this review as a precaution when selecting smaller companies that can not assure your move will be handled professionally or decent customer service should a problem arise. At first, the husband was nice, giving a quote moving from one town to another (small move). We scheduled giving them sufficient time for the move. On the day of the move, they were hours late with no call of where they were or what time they'd be there. Finally, hubby shows up with only ONE very young guy who seemed very inexperienced and more wasted time! They damaged a few of our furniture and some of our items were missing. They kept placing blame on us, saying we didn't know what we packed. When we tried to speak to them rationally to solve the problems, she (wife) walked into our home without an invitation and strong armed the conversation with intimidation and did not care about our concerns. The whole experience was extremely tiring, dreadful, intimidating, and hard. We'd lost a few of our household items, furniture damaged, and feeling strong, armed, and scared by mainly wife. I assure you that these events happened with Mint Movers. My family and I were extremely surprised at the scary tactics, as we've never experienced this kind of customer service in our lives. Best way to move is when someone else is doing the heavy lifting. Back in July, I utilized Mint Moving Solutions with my move from Mililani to town. Thomas, Dave and Michael were amazing. Very helpful and strong. They took care of wrapping my furniture so it stayed protected during the move and took everything downstairs with ease. I also was able to keep my items in the dresser drawers (which saved me time from packing and unpacking extra boxes - a plus for me). My family just relocated from California and the first company we hired to move us, flaked on the delivery. They refused to offload our container and stopped returning our calls. I tried calling other movers to help and the rates were through the roof! After a quick google, I found Mint and the office staff was so helpful. Sunny was so accommodating and was able to squeeze me in yesterday. Filling out the paperwork and paying the deposit was so quick and efficient because everything was online. The office staff was very honest and knowledgeable about what to expect as well as a general estimation of how long things may take. The movers showed up and quickly got to work. I have never used a moving service before and not only was every single person from this company knowledgeable and friendly, but even after the job was done I called the office and spoke to Sahara asking about the bill (even though i've already gotten the detailed invoice and i didn't check it) she was super patient and explained everything to me in full detail. Aaron and James who helped us move was amazing and I would highly recommend. There was a small knick on the wall that scratched some paint and they sent over Thomas to fix it and he was such an awesome and you could tell he knew what he was talking about. They never called, so I followed up and they said "we are no longer available." No apology. No accountability. They just... bailed after confirming. I contacted mint through Yelp for a planned move. We had a 2 bedroom move with five movers. It took approximately 6 hours and everything was normal. The 5 star review is about Sunny, the owner of this company! Sunny is the most responsive, honest, decent person she could possibly be. From scheduling, to showing up, to answering calls and messages, Sunny was always extremely fast, approachable, and empathetic. Thomas and Sunny were always quick to respond to my questions. They were able to provide me a quote and schedule a moving day within 24 hours. Another moving company took one day each to respond to questions and after 3 days of correspondence I still couldn't confirm a moving date. On moving day, the team called me to let me know they would be arriving in 30 minutes. 30 minutes later they arrived and started loading right away. They used plastic wraps and blankets to protect the wood furniture. There was no damage to any of my items or property.
