Morihara Store is a Kula tradition since 1948 located, offering a unique, local shopping experience there are tons of stuff in this cute shop, which looks tiny from the outside but you will be surprised from you see inside. A little mini supermarket store that has mostly everything, even variety of hot foods. The alcohol section really caught my eyes. Great selection btw. hehe. Mr. Cashier ( local guy) was full of Aloha, very friendly. I enjoyed looking around the store, after browsing I paid for my alcohol and thank you! We got farm eggs and local steak for less than what would be paid at Safeway or Foodland. Like many local stores, Rodeo offers warm ready to eat foods like spam musubi, breakfast wraps, and plate-lunch style meals at the deli counter. They also offer local and imported ingredients, including for some reason many products from Mexico. I picked up a dark Oaxaca mole here that was incredible. They have bottled Coke from Mexico as well. There's also a large selection of cold drinks, inexpensive and otherwise. A can of flavoured water costs $1, good deal and refreshing. Kombucha is available in bottles and on tap. Add to that a huge alcohol and tobacco selection, and an impressive cigar humidor! There's something for everyone here, and you gotta love the local general store ambiance. It's deceptive from the exterior how large the store is, and one would never expect the variety of products inside. Don't forget to ask the cashier for the answer to the sandwich-board joke of the day, or say hello to the shop kitty!
