Great local grocery store that has most amenities. Prices are a bit higher but it's a local convenient store so a bit expected. We were able to get all the grocery items we needed to last us a week, even some produce. Didn't have hot food options when we arrived but the clerk recommended a restaurant in the same shopping center. read more

I've reviewed them before I think, but came back to say they have really a great poke bar! They know how to offer all the kinds the locals like, and serve it up quickly at pau hana time. This little grocery store has so many things for sale you can always find what you need, from fresh meats and veggies to pet foods and more. HUGE selection of adult beverages too. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Loads of parking in this old cannery spot. read more

I like coming here whenever I'm in haiku. It's a local grocery store. Nice selection of things but the prices are a little bit higher than most places, but what can you expect your in haiku. They have a pokē station here, I haven't tried it yet but it looks pretty good. They have fresh produce, nice selection. The staff here are nice. They also have alcohol thumbs up there hehe. I just got off the phone, or shall I say I was hung up on by produce manager ROMAN. He didn't check the products, he simply said sorry and hung up on me. Great local store that carries almost everything that you might need. From bread, tea, coffee, baked items, fruit, veggies, beer, soda, hygiene items and everything in between. Very well stocked. They also have poke and the best on the island purple yam with haupia cake that is incredible !!! read more

Local grocery store is clean and the clerks are friendly. Phil and Joy are so nice and greet you more like family. The store has a western union and some delicious sweets. Parking is plenty too! We've always had great service and have been coming here for years read more

Nice little grocery shop just like a 10 minute drive from the cute little area of Paia. Good selection despite its relatively smaller size - but not tiny by any means. Yeah the prices are marked up some but doesn't feel like price gouging. Stopped here to get some beer and they have a nice selection especially for a grocery store. Some of your more popular local beers but good selection nonetheless. They have poke, musubi and a couple other things that are more unique to an island grocery store. Would come back if I'm the area and needed a couple snacks and beer. read more

The perfect "Oh I'm out of...." store. They have a decent collection of items here to replenish what you're missing at home. There's great, fresh fruit and a sturdy selection of wine and beer. Good, not too pricey grocery store for Maui. Yes you are in Hawaii. Yes some things are more expensive. But it's a great store, and has most of everything that you would need. We picked up a bunch of fruit, juice, sausages, and other breakfast items for not too bad of a price. Beer wasn't too unreasonable either. This little store is almost your only option in the area, thank the gods it is very good. There is usually ample parking although it is a shared car park. The staff is super friendly and attentive often asking if you need help finding your way and often times I do, not knowing what I am looking for half the time. The do have a large variety of wine and cheese, of course ... as well as all kinds of veggies and to go options if you don't feel like cooking. For a grocery store it's a very good one. In addition to regular grocery store fare, you can get sashimi, snacks, cold drinks, beer... I really liked the selection of fresh/local produce here. It's actually pretty large and feels very roomy inside. Not someplace you'd go out of your way for, but you are living/staying near Haiku, this is one place to check out for rations. read more

They have some pretty good poke, all of the staples one needs, and a good selection of Hawaiian sea salts, honey, coffee and other treats at what I thought was pretty reasonable prices (then again, my neighborhood store is Union Market, so anything is reasonable in comparison). Essentially a full blown grocery store here on the north shore! Feels a lot like a small Foodland. The prices tend to be higher than in town at major grocery store, but similar to Whole Foods. The staff has always been friendly and they have almost everything one would need without having to drive in to town/Kahului. It seems small from what it looks like from the outside, but you'd be surprised to see that it's actually surprisingly big one you walk inside. Their deli offers typical local favorites, and their produce section is pretty decent. They have a good selection of local produce, but not a whole lot of organic, if that's important to you. read more

I love the Haiku Grocery Store!!!! This is a must stop several times during our upcountry stays. Not only is there all the basics that you might need but some pretty interesting items good to set aside as good gifts for the folks back home such as natural sea salts, a nice variety of gift boxed/bagged macadamia nuts, as well as other local products. The fresh baked goods are quite good. There is a nice selection of poke. And, the folks that work there are very friendly and helpful. The prices are not cheap but hey, it's Maui which is not known for cheap! read more

I love this store. I live in Haiku where there isn't much around or anything. This store though has everything you could be looking for without having to go all the way to town. It has everything! Only complaint I have is their bakery isn't large and most of the stuff they makes turns out dry and taste foul. Also their health food section mostly doesn't exist. And the prices are a little high but that is to be expected. All over this is a great store and is has something for EVERYONE and it's got great parking (for a shared lot) friendly workers and usually no long lines. read more

Awesome local grocery store with delightful staff and a good selection. John the manager is always available with a hearty hello and smile. Joy is one of my favorite cashiers. They recently added a RedBox which I rented the new Xmen movie from. So excited to watch!! I picked up organic eggs that were on sale for tomorrow's breakfast. The poke here is great and you can get discounted flowers Often to spruce up your home. The greeting card section is also nice -- good selection of cards ranging from $3.99-6.99. I always get my cheesecloths from here which I use to make fresh cheese! By the redbox in the back of the store next to the dog food they keep a rack for clearance items. A must check every visit. This is an old-school, small town grocery store with a sort of run-down charm. Located in an old and truly gigantic cannery building which has been converted into a complex of shops and local busineses, the grocery store is large and roomy (or sort of partially empty, depending on how you look at it) with a mix of traditional processed "american food" (nabisco, kraft, hormel, etc) as well as a small variety of organics. Decent beer selection with some imports. They have prepared bento boxes in a hot case which look sort of interesting. Also have a variety of Japanese-y looking things (mochi, shrimp chips, dried cuttlefish, etc). Prices are low (for Maui). If you're a gourmet, a foodie, or into health food then this will not be your regular store, but it might serve in a pinch. If you have average to low expectations then this place could serve nicely. read more

What a relief after the "deli" supermarket in Paia. Normal prices and efficient check outs. I left my wallet in a cart by accident and called the following day to see if anyone found it. The wallet was 100% intact and with the store manager. Great people, great store. read more

There aren't many grocery stores in Haiku so you can't be too picky. THey have a moderate selection of fresh and processed food, milk, beer, and wine. Prices are high but at least you don't have to drive to Kahului. read more

Haiku Grocery Store is a place I go to nearly every day, seeing as it's only a one minute drive or a 3 minute walk away from my house. They have everything a big box grocery store would have, just on a smaller scale, and it's pricier. They have a decent selection of meats from portuguese sausage, maui cattle beef, bacon, chicken and pork. They also have some veggies (not everything you'd expect) onions, garlic, bell peppers, mushrooms, stuff like that. They also carry a little array of health foodie stuff like amy's mac and cheese and quinoa. If you need batteries, they got it. Beer, they got that too. (6 pack of Kirin is under $8, major score) Ice cream, toilet paper, candy, poke (although their poke absolutely SUCKS), tofu, charcoal. It's basically a one stop shop. The ladies who work there are pretty chill and nice, except there is one lady who rubs me the wrong way. She never really says hi or thank you to me, and she kind of stares. But she seems cool with everyone else. Eh. read more
