Poke is a bit pricier than foodland but we tried it side by side and think this one is better! The market is small but local and food. We also got a spam musubi for $3 and it was delicious, although there was a lot of rice. We'll be back for more poke!

This is a very local place. It was clean and fresh. Good prices, probably comparable to Safeway, no exuberant pricing, but not ultra cheap either. They had fresh flower leis and that was exactly what I was searching for.

This is called Breakfast By The Pound. It was $8 and delicious. This is a terrific market to get food and drinks. I also enjoyed their Banana Bread.

This market has everything you need for your time at Maui. What I needed was some Poke, and this is the spot! I've traveled to other places around town and I've got to say, nothing can beat this quality for this price! They make fresh poke at 10 am every day! It goes quick, so you gotta be there early! If you get there around 3pm-4pm, forget about it! It will all be gone. My favorite is the hawaiian and the shoyu poke. We probably ate like 10 lbs of poke while we were here. Lol. We love it! They also have some unique treats right in front of the poke area, like freshly baked salted caramel cookies, banana bread, guava bread, and coconut bread. Super good stuff! I highly recommend it all!

I could kick myself for not coming here until the day before I'm scheduled to fly home. Today was our winding down day. We were waiting for our lunch order a few doors away. We decided to go into Napili Market to kill time. Immediately we saw the deli and the prepared foods. Yum yum. Local grindz. We picked up dinner. Poke bowls. Choice of one ahi $8.69. Spicy ahi and ahi avocado. The spicy ahi had a lot of fire. Also picked up ube butter mochi which I'll pack to fly home with. It'll keep for a day. The Maui gold pineapple was $1.50 each. Too bad I didn't have enough time left on my vacation to eat one. Next time I'm in Maui I'll make a point of grocery shopping here. Ample parking.

Nice store. Rude staff. Prices are okay, produce was fresh enough. Cashier basically ignored me the whole time.

Parking is plentiful and free! Watch out for the wild chickens and their babies in the parking lot…read more Yikes. This grocery store has everything you need, but of course at MAUI prices. I went to the deli and was curious about the different pokes. The butcher back there was super helpful! He asked if i wanted to try some stuff - um, yes! absolutely! I tried at least 3-4 different poke styles until i settled on the one with tuna and seaweed. so good. I also picked up some kimchi shrimp. I found a premade salad near the front, not in the veggie section. They have a lot of sushi options for grab and go, but you can also get it made fresh if you wait. They have a large hot bar like any whole foods would; the options looked delicious. Things like sliced turkey were so expensive, but like i said, MAUI prices. If you have a frequent shopper card, don't forget to use it at checkout. if you don't, sign up for one real quick. the savings are real. The high noons were going for $35 a box - yikes. My buddy saved at least $50 by signing up and all he was buying was high noons, beer and prosecco. My husband did not enter our phone number at checkout, so we did not save any money. We had selected two sale items, but apparently you don't get the sale without the shopper card. I had no idea until I saw his receipt later that day. I took the receipt back the following day, to customer service, and I explained the issue about the shopper's card, and they basically said - how much do we owe you? So I said about $9. Well, she gave me $11 back with tax as well! Hahaha. I guess what I was asking for was more difficult to do versus just giving me a random refund. either way, I was happy to have the money back. We visited the Safeway a couple times during our stay in Maui. Don't forget to bring your own shopping bag.

The store anchored a multi-business strip mall with a good-sized parking lot. Even still, parking was a bit of a challenge. Whoa! The prices! Crazy expensive! 12-pack of Maui Brewing Bikini Blonde was nearly $27! Becky's seltzers were even pricier. Bottled water was nuts too! The store itself was clean, well-organized and well stocked. The employee at checkout was friendly. I punched in my phone number at checkout and received the applicable (Vons) member discounts.

Plenty of parking though as it's on a private lot. Let me tell you, the poke here is fire!!!! So fresh!!! Found this place here through Yelp, and the other Yelpers definitely did not disappoint. The store is super clean, and each staff member I encountered here were all very polite, and helpful. When you walk in, the Poke section is directly to your left. When we arrived, there was a line and for good reason. They had about 5 or 6 different kind of Poke's the days we went 7/29 and 7/31. I had the Spicy Ahi and the Tamura's one day. Then the Shoyu and Chili pepper the next. All which were extremely fresh and flavorful. Great to eat by itself, or you can elect for a Poke bowl, which gets you two scoops of rice with furikake and sesame seed (if you want) and two choices of poke. You won't regret it if you're a poke fan! We came here twice to satisfy our poke craving. Crazy how it's a large liquor and wine store, which I'm sure they get a lot of customers for. But the days we went, it mainly were both locals and tourists stopping in for just the poke. Just a heads up, I overheard a lady ask "will you have more tomorrow"? To which the employee said, "yes we have enough fish for the next 3 days" which tells me that they do run out or have days where their poke bar is closed. The poke bowl was $14.99 each and completely worth it. Best Poke I've tried so far in Maui! Give them a try!

The poke looked fresh, and there was a long line; slightly unorganized. Not the business's fault, but the customers. I think everyone in line was trying to look into the case at the same time. Enjoyed their tour learning about their farms and sampling the delicious chocolate. It was so good we ended up buying over $100 of chocolate to bring back as gifts! If you came to West Maui, and didn't go chocolate tasting at Ku'ia, did you really visit Maui?…read more I mean, I had an amazing time on my vacation in Ka'anapali - but this was the absolute foodie highlight, better than any restaurant and a lot more reasonable! We skipped the pricey farm tour (we did coffee farm tours last year and are farmed out) and went straight to the chocolate café. They will give you a five piece tasting for free, either a dark, milk, or sugar-free flight. But why would you come here and just take... When you can also give back to folks in Lahaina rebuilding? So we got two free flights, one milk and one dark. My sweetie added on a drink, a pastry, and some very tasty chocolate and salted caramel gelato. I went with a make your own alcohol pairing, which was so much fun and very reasonable. For about $17, I got a shot of coconut rum with two chocolate pairings and a shot of premium Martiniquan JM volcanic rhum Agricole with another two chocolate pairings. And then I still had my free five pieces. What an amazing taste adventure, for cheaper than the price of a cocktail at a hotel bar or even a locally owned foodie place? I don't want to mess up your tasting - so you pick your favorites! But I normally don't like rhum agricole - and the pairings were such an amazing flavor adventure. Honestly, this is my number one recommendation in West Maui. Give the folks some business and have an amazing time! Oh, and they have jazz on Sunday nights' but I'm sure it's more crowded than than popping in during the day on a weekday. And also: the second floor tasting room has panoramic views of the ocean and around Lahaina. Check them out!
