I like perusing the baking department for fresh banana breads, cookies, etc. The hubby runs for the seafood department for fresh poke. There is always a line for poke customers! Oh, and don't forget a spam musubi waiting on the warming trays. Everything is higher priced than your mainland grocery stores. However, you do have to eat. I found a premade salad near the front, not in the veggie section. They have a lot of sushi options for grab and go, but you can also get it made fresh if you wait. They have a large hot bar like any whole foods would; the options looked delicious. Things like sliced turkey were so expensive, but like i said, MAUI prices. If you have a frequent shopper card, don't forget to use it at checkout. if you don't, sign up for one real quick. the savings are real. The high noons were going for $35 a box - yikes. My buddy saved at least $50 by signing up and all he was buying was high noons, beer and prosecco. My husband did not enter our phone number at checkout, so we did not save any money. We had selected two sale items, but apparently you don't get the sale without the shopper card. I had no idea until I saw his receipt later that day. I took the receipt back the following day, to customer service, and I explained the issue about the shopper's card, and they basically said - how much do we owe you? So I said about $9. Well, she gave me $11 back with tax as well! Hahaha. I guess what I was asking for was more difficult to do versus just giving me a random refund. either way, I was happy to have the money back. The store anchored a multi-business strip mall with a good-sized parking lot. Even still, parking was a bit of a challenge. Whoa! The prices! Crazy expensive! 12-pack of Maui Brewing Bikini Blonde was nearly $27! Becky's seltzers were even pricier. Bottled water was nuts too! The store itself was clean, well-organized and well stocked. Great to eat by itself, or you can elect for a Poke bowl, which gets you two scoops of rice with furikake and sesame seed (if you want) and two choices of poke. You won't regret it if you're a poke fan! We came here twice to satisfy our poke craving. Crazy how it's a large liquor and wine store, which I'm sure they get a lot of customers for. But the days we went, it mainly were both locals and tourists stopping in for just the poke. Just a heads up, I overheard a lady ask "will you have more tomorrow"? We skipped the pricey farm tour (we did coffee farm tours last year and are farmed out) and went straight to the chocolate café. They will give you a five piece tasting for free, either a dark, milk, or sugar-free flight. But why would you come here and just take... When you can also give back to folks in Lahaina rebuilding? So we got two free flights, one milk and one dark. My sweetie added on a drink, a pastry, and some very tasty chocolate and salted caramel gelato. I went with a make your own alcohol pairing, which was so much fun and very reasonable. For about $17, I got a shot of coconut rum with two chocolate pairings and a shot of premium Martiniquan JM volcanic rhum Agricole with another two chocolate pairings. And then I still had my free five pieces. What an amazing taste adventure, for cheaper than the price of a cocktail at a hotel bar or even a locally owned foodie place? I don't want to mess up your tasting - so you pick your favorites! But I normally don't like rhum agricole - and the pairings were such an amazing flavor adventure. Honestly, this is my number one recommendation in West Maui. Give the folks some business and have an amazing time! Oh, and they have jazz on Sunday nights' but I'm sure it's more crowded than than popping in during the day on a weekday. We learned a lot and appreciated how informative and engaging the tour was. The tour ended with a tropical fruit tasting, and the fruit was incredibly fresh, juicy, and sweet. It was one of our favorite parts of the experience. Feeding the alpacas was also a lot of fun, and our kids absolutely loved it. The farm also has zip lines and giant inflatable bouncing balls, so there is plenty to keep families entertained. Definitely worth checking out.

He started with some farm history and then he took us to see the alpacas. They were so cute and friendly. We all got to feed them and pet them. Next was the tour of the farm. After our tour, he took us to a beautiful lookout with tables where we experienced a huge plate of tropical fruits and a glass of dragon fruit lemonade. It was all refreshing and delicious. This is a great experience and I highly recommend it.
