I've been shopping here for a quite a few years now, including at their former downtown location. The owner and her staff have done an amazing job making the space feel like a welcoming treasure hunt. They always happy to offer suggestions if needed or allow you to browse on your own. Since everything here is one of a kind, I have my best luck when I'm not looking for something specific. The price range is extensive - you can find regular priced dresses for $50 but they also sell some luxury designer items for $1000+. Truly something for everyone. If you're looking for a deal, I recommend keeping an eye on their social media and looking out for their blowout sales.

They have a lot of vintage designer shoes and clothing, fur coats, wedding dresses, just so much good stuff. Do yourself a favour and look in the drawers and bowls to find even more stuff. Earrings and lace gloves and mirrors. The hat selection is amazing but it's the shoes that bring me back from manolo blahnik, to Dior. My favourite purchase from there is still 80s cowbow boots that I get compliments on every time I wear them. I love the owner Angela, she is really open about where she does her collecting and is a super interesting lady. A chat with her and a gander in Swish always a treat.

It seems when you go into the store, there's always something new. On my recent visit, my husband headed straight for the records and they don't update their stock often. Most fans of records likely go to specialty stores. I like looking at the gadgets and browse the sale section. I found a few cute key covers that included cupcakes, sushi, and hamburger designs. How could you not use and love them for $2? Even if you don't buy anything, I'm sure you will find something funny or entertaining in this store. The selection of vintage shirts is varied and the cost around $30.

This, by far, is my favorite store in West Edmonton Mall. They have great clothing here. The…read moret-shirts are so vintage, stylish and a pretty good price too ($20-$30). They also have a bunch of other things like trendy pictures and items to decorate your house, books, vinyl CD's, games, lego camera's, etc. It's like a cool hip novelty shop. I love to check out this store just to see what kind of cool stuff they have and even if you aren't looking to buy anything you will enjoy yourself just browsing around. I always find something I like here and have to stop myself from buying things I don't necessarily need. The staff is cool, they leave you alone and are available if you need any help. The store is unlike any other in the mall and worth taking a look at no matter what your style is.

I've been to this store 3 times now and it's like any other Old Navy. Same layout same great deals…read more The only thing that bothers me and this is probably because they're new, the customer service is in need of serious improvement. Finding a staff member on the floor is impossible. My wife was looking for a certain size of jeans and you would think when a staff member sees you digging through shelves, it's time to ask us if we need assistance. Not the case. We looked around to see if someone was near by. Nope. Lastly, even though the store is the same layout there are flaws. There's a hidden area in the kids dept that goes nowhere. I'm confused by that choice. The selection right now is bleak but I suspect once the store gets humming and they have some metrics the stock will increase. So before anyone craps on this place give it time. It will be better soon enough. Just be grateful that we finally got old navy in shpk.

The store was kind of messy, perhaps it was because it was a weekend. I also found it difficult to find what items were actually on sale. There was a rack of pants that said 50% off. I grabbed a pair and set out to double check the price. I found someone and she asked where I had found it. She said only the marked pants were on sale. I went through the 17 pairs of pants and found 3 that were on sale. I was finally able to find a pair of pants on sale and also picked up 2 tank tops. Not in a hurry to go back.

It was first thing in the morning and I was the first person in. I came back in and said I don't have change so I will quickly look for an item so I can use my debit. She asked me how long I was going to be because "we" are holding up the line now. I told her to go ahead and cancel my transaction and let her go next. She said she is not "allowed" and will need to wait for me to shop before she can move on to the next. She asked me how long it take for me to shop. I told her to to forget about it and left. I will not be shopping here anymore. This interaction made me feel that the stores procedures my fault and my responsibility. Also I'm sure she can cancel transactions as she would need to do so given I chose to leave the store in order to make any other future transactions. This store has not been welcoming for awhile. You have to put your drinks up at the front as if the store is a high-end brick and mortar. This is a thrift store.

Some of the changes have been positive and other leave a lot to be desired. They made the move several years back next to the Tim Horton's and Sobeys which has helped a lot with the parking issues they had over at their prior location. (not enough stalls and getting stuck in snowdrifts in winter) The larger location has also allowed them the ability to take in more donations making it so there is more items to go through when you are in the store "treasure hunting". The biggest issue they have right now is also alienating them a lot from the community. In the last few years the prices have gone up almost double on some items and whoever prices their brand name clothes has no idea what they are doing. Yes I am more then happy to pay a little more for a Roxy hoodie but not when the decal on the front is worn and the string is missing. With the recent improvements made by their competitor Salvation Army I am really not sure how much longer these folks are going to be around. I usually stop in once a month and sometimes when I go I will see the same items for sale that I saw the month prior....definitely not a good sign.
