So Curtis and I were walking through West Edmonton Mall, we like to walk and it's really cold outside these days so we walk around the mall, and we came across this really interesting store. They had some really fun looking vases and bowls on display and it totally drew me in to see that else the store had to offer. I'm sure Curtis rolled his eyes when I hold him I wanted to go in. Well we wondered around the store and saw some fun things like records and even some record players. Curtis is an artist and he found this book with old, real records as the cover and blank sheets on the inside. He was already thinking of the drawings he would put in there. They had fun rugs that I would totally get if I had the money to spend. They had paintings, books (I found an interesting book that I really wanted to get, it's called The Lie), clothes (men and women), shoes, hair stuff, necklaces, and other things that had an antique look to them. The style of the hates were old school looking that seems to be coming back, I would say the style is a 60's style. Best of all, I found a type of journal that I have always wanted. It is a soft brown leather cover and it looks old and worn out, just what I have been looking for. I'm sure it was fate! All-in-all even Curtis liked the store and we go back there once in a while and imagine what we would by if we had our own house and if we actually had money. Prices were a little expensive (everything seems that way when you don't have any money) but compared to what I have seen I would think its average. For example, a winter jacket I looked at was about $140 and that seems to be the price range these days for a good winter coat. The cute shoes they had were pretty cheap, like $20. Also the hair bands, which were really cool, were between $10 and $20. I really love just looking around that store.

    Review Highlights - Urban Outfitters

Urban Outfitters seems like the kind of store that should be located on Whyte Avenue instead of West Edmonton Mall.

That being said, the sales associates are extremely friendly and will go to any lengths necessary to find the right size, even phoning other stores and getting it shipping to their location for your pick up at no extra cost. They have something for everyone in the store, granted you're willing to burn a hole in your bank account- I guess that's why the customer service is so good. They have all the high end brands from Hugo Boss to Gucci to Lacoste to Salvatore Ferragamo to Fred Perry and other higher end designer clothing. If you something that is not quite your size, then their in-house tailer is brought up right away and tailored to your exact measurements. I remember the original Harry Rosen when it was just one small unit. Now it has expanded to three store lengths and offers a wide variety of suits, dress shirts, ties, dress and casual shoes, and also casual (but still high end) clothing. The service sets the standard for high-end clothing in West Edmonton Mall.

Without question, they took the shoes back, and issued me a service ticket. I came back a week later, the leather lowers were given a fresh coat of paint and the leather upper was freshly waxed. Top notch experience.

We arrived on time and once they confirmed our appointment the salesguy was very patient and personable. He also offered us free water. We probably did not need an appointment to just look at fabric and current blazer styles. Many bright/colorful options which we had trouble finding at other stores. Was quoted ~2,500 for a blazer in our chosen fabric - YIKES. Price includes full lining, if you opt out of lining you still pay full price. Our chosen fabric would take 6-8weeks (not including final fitting) but another fabric choice would have been closer to 3-5weeks. Also the fabric people take a month off in the summer - usually August he said so he said if you do not order Before August it will be a 4 week wait for them to be able to order again. Overall we did not go with a custom blazer from here, due to the price but maybe one day! The other clothing sold here is very high end = pricey. My boyfriend was very heartbroken the sweater he liked was $700 lol.

Quality products, quality service and outstanding personnel make this the "go-to" place to shop for mens wear products. Custom fitting and fabrication of suits, jackets is an added bonus.

She kept insisting it was her decision to decline the exchange, although the receipt clearly states store credit or exchange past 30 days. I wasn't mad until she decided to answer the phone whilst I was explaining I already knew the terms of returns and exchanges. If the area team reads this message, I strongly recommend you connect with her on how to appropriately address customer complaints and maybe let her read the back of the receipt so she knows what hill to make a stand on. Absolutely abhorrent service.

Apparently they do, and my friend and I went to the H&M in West Ed because we figured the store and selection would be better than South Common. There isn't a huge selection of plus size clothes, but there is a bit, and H&M always has nice basics and trendy pieces too. One thing I love about H&M, no matter what dress size you might be, is the accessories. There are a lot of fun jewellery, purses, scarves, etc and the prices being pretty low it's pretty easy to go overboard and buy quite a bit. Of course the prices being so low this isn't exactly high quality long lasting items, but I tend to break, lose, rip, tear, etc. any accessories I get anyway so spending $12 on a scarf that I'll eventually lose at H&M seems better than spending $100 for a high-end scarf somewhere else. Aside from clothes and accessories the other thing H&M has that I didn't realize they carried are home decor products. This section isn't as big as the regular clothing and accessory section, but there are a variety of fun home decor items you can get, from bedspreads to aprons. West Ed isn't a place I particualrly like to go to, but if I'm here I'll check out H&M again.
