I saw this store, as I was about to leave West Edmonton Mall and after being in that huge mall all day I couldn't wait to get my tired butt home. But I saw this store and I pushed myself to take a closer look. This store has a bit of everything. It actually reminds me of my favorite store, Urban Outfitters, but with higher class. They have some really nice articles of clothing that have a vintage or retro look to them. They are just really nice and classy looking, especially their dresses. I do have to say that this place is expensive, but it's almost worth it because everything they have is pretty nice. I saw this one dress, it was a blackish gray color and it was made from lace or something close to it and it had this really nice blackish gray rose shape stitched on the side of the waist. Anyways, it was a very pretty and simple looking dress, really classy looking and it was about $158. Their store is pretty big so it's fun to just slowly walk around and see what they have. They have some nice pieces of jewelry; I really liked a pair of rose shaped earrings for $38. Not only do they have a collection of awesome clothes, but they also have a section devoted to women's lingerie and nightwear. They have some really cute, short lace nightgowns in some great colors; the one I liked was a plum color. They also have a home accessory section. They have a collection of great looking dishes, but what I really fell in love with was their selection of old vintage door handles and cupboard handles. They were all really great and when I get my own house I know where I'm going to spice up my doors! They have some classic novels like Jane Austen and Charles Dickens and other classical writers. You could also find these fancy looking hard covered books at Chapters or Indigo. They also have some pieces of vintage looking furniture like a china cabinet in this nice looking indigo blue color. The whole store is a treasure and I'm happy I found the strength to keep walking so that I could look around in this great place. The store is very nice, neat and extremely well kept. I almost didn't want to touch anything because I didn't want to ruin their displays. The staff was very sweet and super friendly. I believe I found another great store that I love and will keep coming to just to look at things because I don't think I could actually fit into anything, yet.

I must have close to 10 Anthro dresses now, and they remain some of the favourite items in my wardrobe.

It seems when you go into the store, there's always something new. On my recent visit, my husband headed straight for the records and they don't update their stock often. Most fans of records likely go to specialty stores. I like looking at the gadgets and browse the sale section. I found a few cute key covers that included cupcakes, sushi, and hamburger designs. How could you not use and love them for $2? Even if you don't buy anything, I'm sure you will find something funny or entertaining in this store. The selection of vintage shirts is varied and the cost around $30.

They also have a bunch of other things like trendy pictures and items to decorate your house, books, vinyl CD's, games, lego camera's, etc. It's like a cool hip novelty shop. I love to check out this store just to see what kind of cool stuff they have and even if you aren't looking to buy anything you will enjoy yourself just browsing around. I always find something I like here and have to stop myself from buying things I don't necessarily need. The staff is cool, they leave you alone and are available if you need any help. The store is unlike any other in the mall and worth taking a look at no matter what your style is.

We took a chance on Sara's and I'm so glad we did. It was the second store we went to. We walked in on May 19th, with Grad coming up on June 7th. The saleslady acknowledged that it was a tight timeline, but wasn't worried. She explained the layout of the store and let us look around for a few minutes. She was incredibly helpful with pulling dresses and getting them done up. We found THE dress quite easily. It was only the second or third one that was tried on, but there was no interest in anything else after that. They had the correct size/colour combo in their warehouse and said it would be in in a week. So, back we went on May 24th to try on the dress again. The seamstress was standing by to make note of what we wanted done, and made a few suggestions. I was worried but she assured me that the dress would be ready by June 5th and it would be perfect. She was right. It was absolutely stunning. It fit perfect and the alterations were amazing. The dress was $525 and the alterations were $189, but hey... you only graduate once! I would definitely recommend this store to others. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Side note... on one of our visits to the store, there was a lady there trying on dresses for her wedding. She was probably in her 40s or 50s and mentioned that this was her 3rd wedding. The staff gushed over her like they would any young bride and helped her find the dress of her dreams. It was so heartwarming to watch.

I am truly pleased that it ought to arrive in plenty of time for the special occasion for which I have ordered this dress. While this place only has limited space, they use every inch of it for dresses and the three dressing rooms. I liked how there were a couple of chairs for people to sit along with candies to eat. Additionally staff were very helpful in ensuring good fit and picking out options.

I wasn't sure what to expect since I walked in and found most of the casual clothing styles more for someone older than I am. I went to the dresses and starting having a look. They had a larger selection that I expected and they seemed to carry dresses of the same colour but of different styles and in most sizes as well. They also had a selection of long dresses and short dresses. I picked a few long dresses in purple to try on and was successful in finding one that fit and I liked the style. The change rooms are large and they have mirrors and heels available to wear to gauge how the clothes look with heels. They had a sale of no GST but the dress was a final sale. The price was reasonable for a fancy dress and I was happy they had it in my favourite colour. If the service was better, I would have given them 4 stars but the sales staff did not go out of their way to help me and it was pretty much self service to get different sizes.

So, no "whipped cream" dress for this older bride! I returned a couple of days later to try on some things that I'd seen while helping our friend with her find, which was a coral dress in material that would work in a warm church and the back yard. Again, nothing but helpful and friendly service. This store is in Phase I of WEM, so may not be a destination for many who are going to women's clothing stores, but well worth checking out.
