I'm torn about Aritzia. I really like some of their clothes and some of them, not so much. And the ones i do like are so overpriced! Some of their sales items are decent but I don't understand why they charge so much in the first place. $40 for a t-shirt? Really?! I could understand (but not condone) it if Aritzia was a big, prestigious brand name, but they're not. I like the way the store is set up. It's pretty practical and easy to navigate. I don't like how they make you put your stuff in lockers when you try stuff on though. I realize that it probably prevents any kind of shoplifting but it's just inconvenient and, let's be honest, weird. Aritzia is OK. It's not my favorite store but I will stop in to browse every once in awhile. read more

Aritzia - Women's Clothing Near Me - Edmonton, Alberta

Out of all the Aritzia's in edmonton, this one is my favorite. The girls here seem to be the friendliest and most willing to help even if you only have one item in your hand. One girl in particular at this location named Hannah was an absolute angel! I pulled lots of items myself and she added some to my dressing room as well. I didn't feel that need to up-sale pressure from her, it felt like she was genuinely showing me pieces I may have missed myself or that she thought I would like. I was also grateful because she was super helpful with putting items on hold for my mom to go pick up later as my birthday gift! Sadly there was one piece I couldn't find in the store so she wrote it down and mentioned to my mom how they could special order it to the store so I could pick it up once it arrived in the store. Of course, my mom thought that was a great idea and went forward with it and stuck the receipt I needed in the gift bag along with everything else. Well later we got the email stating it had arrived and right away I drove all the way to the west end from Sherwood Park and I had forgotten the receipt I needed to pick up the shirt my mom had special ordered for me. I felt like a complete idiot but luckily the girls at the counter reassured me that if someone at home could send me a picture of it that would be totally acceptable as well. So in the end I got everything I wanted and had an excellent experience at this location. Once again I just want to say thank you to Hannah for all the help she gave me! I don't know, I always have mixed feelings about Aritzia. Most of the time, I think it's overpriced glam that is really just all about the brands, and the constant gaggle of girls shopping here confirms this for me. I know this may sound judgemental, but the clientele here always strike me as high-maintenance, or simply teen girls dying to get their hands on the "right" clothes. The staff appear the same. That being said, I will admit that Aritzia has some pretty nice stuff. I've bought a tanktop and cashmere sweater from here before, and I continue to love both dearly. You're paying a hefty penny for fashion if you shop here though. One of my friends loves shopping here, and she doesn't care if anything's not on sale, she'll still buy it. All I and my other friend can do is look away. They do have sales occasionally, and these are worth checking out. Some of the sale prices can still be quite high, but certain pieces can be a bargain, especially at end of season. Aritzia sells mostly casual trendy wear for young women; they don't really have too much for dressy evening wear, unless you're going out to the club. I do appreciate their return policy though. I bought a neon yellow bandeau top once, and I don't know what possessed me to buy it, but I was able to return it a week after. The service wasn't that great though; the girls at the counter were quite slow, even though there were three of them, and I wasn't happy when they took a customer who had been in line after me. This is my all time favourite store. Anytime I am in need of something for a special occasion or work this is my go to. The ladies that work here are also very kind and are very approachable. I prefer coming to Southgate instead of West Ed because I find they have better sale items. The Wilfredo & Community line are my favourites. This place is extremely hard on the wallet too $$ however their sales are usually really good! Everything that I have gotten from here has been totally worth the price and I've had in my closet for years. Poor customer service, Asian girl there shot me some pretty dirty nasty looks, and this was before one of them pressed me twice about putting the clothes I had in my hand on hold after the security system went off. The cashier who shot me gross looks as she was looking for the items she put on hold for me. So tempted to thank her for gesturing me over by smacking the table three times. (Good looking items, real wool). I couldn't find my gift card and so I asked the cashier to put those on hold only to have a few more nasty looks. If not for the gift card, I would be shopping somewhere else for sure. I really hope I get cash next christmas. read more

Like the rest of reviews, I have to agree that this place is a destroyer of bank accounts. But despite the price I keep coming back. You know why? Because I'm getting quality made clothes that are both trendy, fun and easy to care for and wash. From my experience the clothes from other, wallet friendly shops either wreck in the wash (despite washing instructions) or wear out really, really fast. The staff there for the most part are friendly and very helpful and like Bidget C. said they can be like your own personal shopper. The only negative experience I've had there was when I had bought a sweater from there, washed it, and for some freak reason expanded 5x it's size. I stopped by the store and asked if it was okay if they would take it back and give me store credit as I have other sweaters like it, washed them the same, and they were fine. To my surprise the girl cheerfully said of course they would take it back. Unfortunately, I didn't have the sweater on me at the time so I came back with it the next day and since the employee I talked to wasn't there I had to speak with someone else. This employee was obviously annoyed with me when I explained one of their staff said I could exchange my sweater and made it clear that she thought I was lying. But I stood my ground and eventually made her take it back but I was left feeling offended that I even had to argue about it. She told me they don't do those kinds of exchanges and that she'd "Have to mark this down on my file so that they know that I know this now." Which in short means they can catch me if I'm telling a lie in the future. Ugh. But that one blip isn't enough for me to write this place off. Aritzia is mostly too rich for my blood, but I can't stop myself from shopping here. Sometimes I have to force myself not to go in, because it's all downhill for my bank account from there. When I do go in I expect to buy something because I just love the styles here. My last purchase was a Talula Babaton chocolate brown three-quarter length winter coat that's slim-fit with a tied waist. I call it my Audry Hepburn coat. I usually take medium-sized coats but this one is small and fits perfectly, so the psychological power of this coat was enough to swallow the cost - over $400. But I still love it a year later and know I'll get lots of use out of it. The sales team here treats you really well. Buying this coat I felt like an exclusive customer, the way they fussed over my purchase and sent me off with it in a special coat bag. Guys, if you go in here with your girlfriend, you may lose her for a while. There are some comfortable seats at the back. Get comfortable. The live dj is for you! You can expect lots of designer labels and gorgeous casual, dress, under and outerwear. read more

I LOVE the Wilfred line sold at Aritzia, but some of their prices here are outrageous. The store is best to visit at a quiet time, like a weekday morning, otherwise it's going to be an ocean of 14 year old girls screeching to all their friends. Don't be put off by the younger crowd that frequents this store, there's many silk tops and flattering dresses to be had for the mid-20's-to-30's+ fashionista. The staff is touch and go. I've had some salesgirls be so helpful it was like having my own personal shopper, then the next time I visited I was treated rudely when all I was doing was exchanging an item for a different size! Often I'll drop in to Aritzia to see what's cool (lace tank tops, floral silk blouses), then meander over to the nearest Winners to see if I can replicate the look for less. Either way, Aritzia is one of my go-to stores for the latest styles. read more

Overpriced? Yes. Nice clothes? Some.. not exactly my style but some pieces intrigue me. Annoying salesperson that asked me four different times in a span of 20 minutes if I've decided yet on what jacket I was going to buy? Check. I ended up buying a $75 hoodie that I regret now. The inside lining is made out of fleece and little bits of it ends up on whatever I'm wearing underneath. :( read more

Great store for classic investment-pieces like peacoats and blazers. A lot of their more casual clothing is horribly overpriced and I've seen expensive items 5$ off during their 'sales'. Like others have said, their communal dressing room mirrors are annoying, I don't need everybody in the room to see me in clothes that may be ill-fitting, thanks. Depending on the location, the salesgirls are either rude, dismissive and missing-in-action or overbearing and popping up at every turn. Definitely one of the better stores for teens to late 20's. read more

I personally believe Aritzia is a great store, I basically own all my pieces from Aritzia; from Wilfred to Marc Jacobs, they are all very promising pieces if taken care of, will last you a very long time. Their clothes are vey stylish and sophisticated especially their Wilfred dresses! You can wear them during any occasions and look fabulous and feel confident. Im a pretty safe shopper so I tend to stay with the same Wilfred and T.Babaton line because they fit true to size and they carry double extra small. The only problem I have with Aritzia sometimes is their quality in silk...their silk is obviously not as comparable as BCBG Maxazria or Diane Von Furtenstenburg, it just doesn't come out the same way after being dry cleaned and steamed. Certain items I bought from Aritzia looses its shape and the vibrant colors it used to have. However the price speaks for itself and I am satisfied despite the quality with certain items. Furthermore I never have issues with the girls who work there. I think they are beautiful and stylish with edge to them and they provide excellent customer service because of all the times I shopped there they all recognize me, my name, my style and what I like! They even know my boyfriends name! I feel pampered when I walk in to Aritzia and I believe every women who walks into a store should feel extra fabulous and confidant. I put a lot of trust into the clothes they recommend for me so I suggest you all do the same otherwise this store is definitely not for you. read more
