Ribkoff's clothes are expensive but great materials and flattering cuts make purchasing his designs a great investment. Every time I go in I just want to lounge on the settee and have my servants cater to my every whim. OK, back to reality. As mentioned, Anthropologie is a hodge podge (I mean that in a good way) of clothing, decor and books. The clothes can be a bit over the top but the closer you look the more likely you'll find something of interest. The cool thing is they also have kids toys and housewares. It's almost a one stop shop. Another dose of reality is their prices. They're on the high side, but like many things in life you get what you pay for. Often times you can find the decor items at a better price, but by the time you find (if you even do) you'll likely have spend that much in time and effort. If you have eclectic tastes go here and have a feast of eye candy.

The quality is fantastic - luscious, cozy, elegant fabrics and designs - sexy & sophisticated, inspired by more than a hint of Paris, and most of the pricing is reasonable, although there are a few higher-end price tags about the store. The sales girl said they did not do returns, OK fine I would have gladly taken a store credit, but they don't do that either. I was not told this at the time of purchase. One of the dresses I bought was on sale so they told me it was a final sale... that's pretty standard. But I was not told that they would only do an exchange right then and there. There was nothing in the store that I wanted since I was just there 5 days prior and bought everything I was interested in. None of the girls helped me. Finally I found something (that I know I will never wear) and went to exchange it. It was $3 dollars cheaper than the dress I was bringing back and the girl told me I couldn't get my $3 dollars back!! Finally after telling me there was nothing they could do, she called over a very rude young lady and she refunded my debit card the $3. If I could have just received a store credit I would have continued to shop there. Now I will never go back and I'm stuck with a dress I will never wear!

I wasn't sure what to expect since I walked in and found most of the casual clothing styles more for someone older than I am. I went to the dresses and starting having a look. They had a larger selection that I expected and they seemed to carry dresses of the same colour but of different styles and in most sizes as well. They also had a selection of long dresses and short dresses. I picked a few long dresses in purple to try on and was successful in finding one that fit and I liked the style. The change rooms are large and they have mirrors and heels available to wear to gauge how the clothes look with heels. They had a sale of no GST but the dress was a final sale. The price was reasonable for a fancy dress and I was happy they had it in my favourite colour. If the service was better, I would have given them 4 stars but the sales staff did not go out of their way to help me and it was pretty much self service to get different sizes.
