When you first step into Red Ribbon, it can be a bit overwhelming because it's quite the feast for the eyes. Located underneath Starbucks in the High Street district (by stairwell), it's a trendy and funky little shop that is crammed with goodies. Although they are listed as a gift shop, it is mostly a clothing store. But you could just as easily get some of these great items as gifts. I listed Red Ribbon as pricey, but really it's more like in between moderate and pricey. Pricey if you get something regular-priced, but moderate if you can get it on sale. And there was lots on sale when I went yesterday! Their clothing brands include lines such as Vero Moda, Kenzie, and Free People. They have lots for women, but a small corner for men. Red Ribbon has tons and tons of scarves as well, all in different styles. So if one is too funky for you, you can opt for a silk one for just $15 instead. They have formal dresses and jackets as well, and right now their jeans are up to 60% off. There was so much on sale that day, but most of the sizes left are medium or large. But that's not all they have -- there's way more! Red Ribbon also carries women's undergarments, jewelry, shoes (also on sale), handbags (including the Matt & Nat collection), and home decor items. They had this really cool coconut lamp on sale that I wish I had room for in my house. There are also Buddha decorations here and there throughout the store that are also for sale. They try to blend a hippie feel and trendiness in this store, and the effect is really cool.

The first time I went into Red Ribbon I got excited. It's such a cheery place and there are so many beautiful, fun things to look it. I remember seeing these cute underpants with the rear covered in ruffles. That was about four years ago, and La Senza has just caught on to the style. This fall, in lingerie shops, there are ruffles everywhere! So, kudos to Red Ribbon for spotting trends ahead of their times and selling edgy, cool stuff. They have a nice selection of novelty gifts, jewelry and handbags, but they've also expanded into men's and women's clothing. They stock some great brands: House of Spy, Matt and Nat, Bauxo, Ponyride, Kersh, Fenchurch, to name a few. The 124 St. district is starting to fill up with really cool shops, and Red Ribbon is one of many now that you'll want to pop into if you're shopping in the area.

We arrived on time and once they confirmed our appointment the salesguy was very patient and personable. He also offered us free water. We probably did not need an appointment to just look at fabric and current blazer styles. Many bright/colorful options which we had trouble finding at other stores. Was quoted ~2,500 for a blazer in our chosen fabric - YIKES. Price includes full lining, if you opt out of lining you still pay full price. Our chosen fabric would take 6-8weeks (not including final fitting) but another fabric choice would have been closer to 3-5weeks. Also the fabric people take a month off in the summer - usually August he said so he said if you do not order Before August it will be a 4 week wait for them to be able to order again. Overall we did not go with a custom blazer from here, due to the price but maybe one day! The other clothing sold here is very high end = pricey. My boyfriend was very heartbroken the sweater he liked was $700 lol.

Although this store quoted me even longer as needing 2 weeks in advance for that same rental service, they did quote me an estimated suit cost that was $50 cheaper than their competitor brand & tailoring service could be finished in a couple of days if a suit is bought outright. We did have a little trouble with sizing as my dad leans toward plus sizing, and a lot of the pant sizes only went up to 44 wide. Many styles are slim pant because of the current trend of tighter pants on the younger generation. There is still a good amount of selection in this store with clearly marked clearance racks and sales signs. The fellow who was helping us out was thankfully able to find us something we could work with. And pant hemming is included with the cost & done in-store. When they found out we were purchasing it for a funeral, they were able to make the hem service a priority, so we could pickup in just over an hour, rather than having to pick up in a day or so which was so incredibly helpful & done without us having to prompt/ask. I gotta say that this store being conveniently located in a mall really helps the time to pass quickly. Staff there are pretty helpful & friendly too. I actually recommended my brothers to get their suits here as well!

I went to the Helm down the road and they were 1000% more friendly and had what I needed and more and even said they would text me when they received the stock of the items I wanted that they did not have.

This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with clearance or sale trousers here, either, as one time I purchased a pair of trousers that were eligible to be hemmed at no extra charge, and the sales associate serving me completely failed to mention that to me at all and I paid to have them hemmed elsewhere. A suggestion to Henry Singer, if I may: just make the hemming of trousers complementary no matter the price, sale or no sale. What you do now seems both selective and cheap, making your company appear to be tight-fisted . That may not be your intention, but that's how it looks in my eyes.
