It's not in an area that I pass by often but I has an appointment nearby and as I was parking I spotted the sign. Luckily I was 20 mins early, giving me the perfect place to kill time! The store is underneath some apartments but tokes over half of the ground level by the looks of it. A fantastic big space, filled from top to bottom with vintage treasures. The owner does a great job creating cute corners highlighting furniture, decor, ornaments and clothing. I immediately wished I had more time to browse! The clothing is divided into rails of amazing dresses from the Victorian era and more. The underskirt section was unreal and made me wanna dress like a steam punk to my meeting. So cool. Lots of eclectic and romantic bits for a vintage wedding. Just wonderful.

They have a wide selection of sizes, from XSmall to 3X. I'm about a size 24/3X and some of their 3X items are almost too big on me, which always makes me smile. The staff treats me with the same respect they give small to average size women, which in my experience doesn't happen often in a plus/regular mix size store. Along with clothing, they have accessories, fun items like socks and sweets, and a wall of personal care items like bath bombs, body cream, hand sanitizer, and aromatherapy. The owner, Laura, is an amazing member of the community who supports other small businesses and brought joy to my family at a rough time when we were missing a loved one. She wasn't asked, she just offered and we will always be thankful to her for her act of kindness.

Anyways, in my pursuit of finding a reasonably priced dress to wear to a wedding, I decided to check it out again. And boy, was I impressed! I guess I caught the start of their 50% sale sale... because there was a TON left and it was all SUPER cheap. Lots of great brands - Dex, Supertrash, S. Oliver, Kensie, etc... And it was funny how some great quality clothing that isn't necessarily popular in North America was the cheapest! I got an S. Oliver blouse for $12... which is insane, since they retail for around $60 in Europe. And Supertrash jeans for $15 (I had actually never heard of the brand before, but looked it up when I got home and I guess they're $150 jeans? nice!) They also seem to get a lot of unsold stuff from local stores - I saw American Eagle jewellery, shoes, and bags as well as Urban Outfitters jewellery. There is definitely some digging involved in this store (think thrifting), but it can be quite worth your time.

Located just south of the Edmonton city cemetery and literally behind (north) of Oliver Square. It can be a little tricky to find the first time. I have friends that have found some fabulous treasures here in the clothing liquidations but I haven't found that hidden Easter Egg yet. The layout is kinda like a thrift store but way less organized. You need time when you come here to sort and sift through the garbage to find the gems. Also, sign up for their email online for advance notice of sales and coupons. It's a fun little liquidation warehouse but it could be improved significantly with better organization and layout.

The shop was beautiful and while the clothing was definitely out of my price range there were many gorgeous and affordable accessories ranging from handmade jewellery to bath products. There were even some super cute reusable bibs for wee ones (I'm a mom so I tend to gravitate to these things). Maggie Walt was super friendly and easy to talk to! She has a beautiful shop full of unique and one of a kind pieces of art - I would definitely refer to her clothing as works of art. The fabrics were amazing and come to find out, she travels the world in search of the perfect pieces. Maggie Walt is a wonderful addition to the Edmonton fashion landscape and I hope she enjoys a long and lucrative career here! There is casual to formal wear, but most of it leans more towards the formal end, with all the colors and materials she uses. Lots of taffeta and tulle for extra sheen and poof! She also sells originally designed jewelry, beautiful pieces with big stones in them. I liked the soft and exotic ambiance of the shop too. There was Indian music playing, and the dressing rooms are draped with these big silky orange curtains. It makes me feel like I'm shopping on vacation somewhere in South Asia! The staff are very courteous and helpful. While I was browsing, another customer came in explaining she had lost one of her earrings on vacation, and could they replace it for her. The saleslady on shift helped her look for another; although they weren't successful, she took the customer's contact down saying they'd call her when they do get another shipment in. It's obvious they care about and appreciate their customers here. Right now they're having their Birthday Sale, where everything is 30-50% until Sunday. A good thing to take advantage of!

This is one of my favourite Reitman's in the city. It's a big store with sections for petites,…read moreplus, and shoes. They also sell accessories like socks, and jewelry. I shop at Reitman's a few times a year to pick up a blazer, work tops, or pants and find the decent quality for the price. Many of their pants are pull up ones with no zipper or buttons. I usually shop this store during their Boxing Day sales. They often have sales for 50% off last ticketed price so I can walk out with a handful of clothes for me or gifts for not much money. There are many change rooms and a sales associate who works in that area so I have rarely had to wait for a room. When it's time to pay, I have never found the line up too long and they are quick and efficient to ring up my purchases. Will shop here again the near future!

This location is huge! It's got a full section for each of average, petite and above average sizes. They've got decent prices and sales. They have a decent range of casual to business casual clothing. I ended up buying a shirt I found on the clearance rack. What impressed me most was at the checkout. They had a display of nylon pouches that were bags all folded up available in four different colors. I thought that was awesome! I love bringing my own bags when I can but just had grocery bags that fold, but don't stay folded too well. This was the solution I was seeking. Now I can just pop my new, reusable bag in my purse and pull it out whenever I feel I need a bag for my purchases. They sell for around $3.

The girls who work here are consistently very friendly and helpful every time. My husband was a bit hesitant to walk into this girly store to buy me a present, but afterwards even he commented on the excellent customer service. If you have your heart set on a particular item, and they do not have it at the Edmonton location, they will more than happily phone the other Canadian locations to try to track it down for you. The clothing, purses, shoes and accessories are definitely not cheap, but everything is well made. I have a Kate Spade dress I bought in the US 6 years ago, and it still looks and wears great. I browsed in the store and they have some colourful clothing but I looked at the wallets towards the back of the store near the cash area. They also have some lovely purses too but I did not buy one in this store. A lovely shop to browse and shop for yourself or a gift for a special woman!
