Red Ribbon also carries a huge assortment of Toms shoes (for both men, women and even kids/infants!!!) Definitely stop into Red Ribbon on a regular basis as they are a small boutique and get new stock in all the time. When I first walked in, I thought it looked like such a nice store. It was kind of dim, with spotlights. The hardwood floors were dark, and the clothes looked eclectic. I started looking through one rack of shirts, and I was kind of shocked to see plain cotton shirts selling for $70. I kept looking through different racks, and what I started to notice was that the prices really varied. There were a lot of very expensive clothes, but there was also some very affordable clothes. I didn't see that many bigger sizes, but I eventually came across two really cool shirt dresses in my size. I tried them on, and the black on fit perfectly. And the best part was that it was marked down from $69 to $35! I couldn't believe what a good deal that was for such a nice shirt. I noticed on the receipt that this store only offers store credit or exchanges, but I am quite sure I won't be returning this shirt. They also had some awesome purses and bags, but these were well over a hundred dollars. I love this store, and I would give it five stars, if they carried more larger sizes. I will definitely be stopping by here quite often from now on.

The staff treats me with the same respect they give small to average size women, which in my experience doesn't happen often in a plus/regular mix size store. Along with clothing, they have accessories, fun items like socks and sweets, and a wall of personal care items like bath bombs, body cream, hand sanitizer, and aromatherapy. The owner, Laura, is an amazing member of the community who supports other small businesses and brought joy to my family at a rough time when we were missing a loved one. She wasn't asked, she just offered and we will always be thankful to her for her act of kindness.

The store is underneath some apartments but tokes over half of the ground level by the looks of it. A fantastic big space, filled from top to bottom with vintage treasures. The owner does a great job creating cute corners highlighting furniture, decor, ornaments and clothing. I immediately wished I had more time to browse! The clothing is divided into rails of amazing dresses from the Victorian era and more. The underskirt section was unreal and made me wanna dress like a steam punk to my meeting. So cool. The shop was beautiful and while the clothing was definitely out of my price range there were many gorgeous and affordable accessories ranging from handmade jewellery to bath products. There were even some super cute reusable bibs for wee ones (I'm a mom so I tend to gravitate to these things). Maggie Walt was super friendly and easy to talk to! She has a beautiful shop full of unique and one of a kind pieces of art - I would definitely refer to her clothing as works of art. The fabrics were amazing and come to find out, she travels the world in search of the perfect pieces. There is casual to formal wear, but most of it leans more towards the formal end, with all the colors and materials she uses. Lots of taffeta and tulle for extra sheen and poof! She also sells originally designed jewelry, beautiful pieces with big stones in them. I liked the soft and exotic ambiance of the shop too. There was Indian music playing, and the dressing rooms are draped with these big silky orange curtains. It makes me feel like I'm shopping on vacation somewhere in South Asia! The staff are very courteous and helpful. While I was browsing, another customer came in explaining she had lost one of her earrings on vacation, and could they replace it for her. The saleslady on shift helped her look for another; although they weren't successful, she took the customer's contact down saying they'd call her when they do get another shipment in. It's obvious they care about and appreciate their customers here. Right now they're having their Birthday Sale, where everything is 30-50% until Sunday. A good thing to take advantage of!

I guess I caught the start of their 50% sale sale... because there was a TON left and it was all SUPER cheap. Lots of great brands - Dex, Supertrash, S. Oliver, Kensie, etc... And it was funny how some great quality clothing that isn't necessarily popular in North America was the cheapest! I got an S. Oliver blouse for $12... which is insane, since they retail for around $60 in Europe. And Supertrash jeans for $15 (I had actually never heard of the brand before, but looked it up when I got home and I guess they're $150 jeans? nice!) They also seem to get a lot of unsold stuff from local stores - I saw American Eagle jewellery, shoes, and bags as well as Urban Outfitters jewellery. There is definitely some digging involved in this store (think thrifting), but it can be quite worth your time.

Located just south of the Edmonton city cemetery and literally behind (north) of Oliver Square. It can be a little tricky to find the first time. I have friends that have found some fabulous treasures here in the clothing liquidations but I haven't found that hidden Easter Egg yet. The layout is kinda like a thrift store but way less organized. You need time when you come here to sort and sift through the garbage to find the gems. Also, sign up for their email online for advance notice of sales and coupons. It's a fun little liquidation warehouse but it could be improved significantly with better organization and layout.

They beaded ones reminds me of what the ladies from the 60's used to wear in their hair as an accessory. Really classy looks can be created. They also have a really great collection of non-prescription glasses, or at least I think they are non-prescription. Anyways, they look great and we all like to look and feel smart once in a while.
