It was a weekday afternoon and I was the only customer when I walked in. On the left wall, the flannel sets were marked down to 50% off and ranged from about $50-75. Many of them felt very soft and they didn't have a lot of cute designs for me (likely due to clearance and what was left over) but some that would be good for my mother. There were a few more flannel sets towards the back of the store too. They had robes as well, and there was one brand made is Canada that was super soft and so luxurious. The sales associate told me the owner or maybe another staff has had one for years and it's still soft after washing. Love this product but it was pricey, I think $160. They also have them in children's sizes downstairs too. The moisture wicking sleepwear is on the right wall at the back of the store. Everyone deserves a great sleep so this product would be great for those who suffer from night sweats. They also carry Saxx underwear and a small selection of men's sleepwear at the back. Downstairs is children's sleepwear and robes, onesies, plus sized pajamas (I saw 1XL-3XL), and a rack of marked down products. I love the feel and diverse materials of pjs they carry. There was a silk set that was lovely and smooth feeling. The sales associate was friendly and answered my questions. This is a fun store and great place to get something to feel pampered! read more

Nothing better for Christmas shopping than Cloud Nine in my opinion. I like to make a couple of trips before Christmas, just because their PJs make great gifts, and because sometimes I find some great little extras too. This year is no exception. Got two great fleece pajama sets that come with matching bootie slippers, fifty dollars a set. Of course, those yoga towels are available, and in more colors. I think I might have to come back again for those stock-stuffer thongs. I might know someone who would get a kick out of receiving a couple. THIS time I couldn't resist something for myself. I got a black nightshirt with grey lace trim. Oh yeah, and it's their famous Wicking fabric. I'm wearing it right now, and I LOVE it! Such lovely things in this shop. But they are not inexpensive... don't come with only pocket change. Hanky Panky underpants...the most comfortable underthings, and plus sizes to boot. Moisture wicking nightclothes that don't look like your grandma's things, and not impractical frilly nonsense either. If you want a nice simple gown, or shorts and a tank you can find it here. Silk, bamboo, technical fabrics and the good old cotton standby. Robes, slippers, body scrubs, bath bombs, a whole variety of accessories too. A small mens selection with some interesting underpants. :D Woohoo stripes! There is a party and I think sidewalk sale this Sunday, July 6th. Should be a great affair. When it snows in Edmonton, most people I know just want to hibernate. As far as I am concerned, a crucial part of hibernation is Pajamas! We received our first snowfall early this year and I was feeling especially cold on Tuesday, so I wandered into Cloud 9 Pajamas hoping to find a great housecoat or cozy pajamas. I was not disappointed! They have everything from flannel to silk to warm housecoats and adult sized onesies! I was tempted to get the giraffe print onesie, but afraid of my manfriend's reaction, I decided instead on a Zebra print housecoat. I couldn't be happier with it! Its cozy, fuzzy, and even has a hood! This store is perfect for a cozy gift for a woman or man in your life. They have men's traditional shirt pajamas as well as every flavor of women's and some children's sized robes as well. They also have very nicely smelling bath products which would be a nice start to a winter evening. If you are able to make it, they are having a wine and cheese night and sale on October 21, 2009. It can be hard to find comfortable AND flattering nightwear. Big shapeless shifts can be comfortable, but are so far off the sexy scale that you feel like a comfortable frump. Fortunately we have Cloud 9. I wandered in when exploring High Street on a lazy afternoon, and was glad that I did. I found a great selection of cute saucy combinations, and classy comfort that draped beautifully. Interesting fabrics, including bamboo are available. I didn't see any any over the top sexy lingerie, but saw a few beautiful night gowns for a trousseau fit for a romantic night. It is not cheap, but isn't it worth it to be comfortable and feel pretty? read more

Spoil yourself! Or spoil someone close to you. Cloud Nine Pajamas for sure is expensive, but it is mostly high quality. You will not find softer PJ's anywhere else, and their plush Bijoux robes are to die for!! I bought a robe about 5 years ago from here. Yes, it was $200, BUT... it still looks brand new today and I wear it all winter long. The have PJs last just as great too! I have a few sets. I try to only buy on sale. And if you don't $100 to spend, they also have a great arrangement of lower cost gifts. Sleep masks (know anyone who works shift work?), slippers, bath accessories, SAXX boxers... seriously, they have a lot here. I'm a sucker for family-owned businesses. Between the 3 locations, they are incredibly well-managed and do a fantastic job of training their staff to be knowledgeable and helpful. Customer service is an absolute must for them and it really shows. Each store is beautiful in the way they display products and are clean as can be. One of my favourite aspects of the company itself is how they do their marketing. There's constantly something to engage you on social media, email, or even the newspaper. As far as the products themselves go, I've never been disappointed with a purchase. Something as small as a bath creamer or something as significant as an extravagant pair of pajamas - I've enjoyed it all. You will pay more for these products. At first, I had a hard time wrapping my head around the cost of the pajamas. That is, until I bought my first pair. These garments are built to last and you can wash and wear them for years to come. read more

Want to walk on cloud 9? Well, the first step is to visit this outrageously fun PJ store! Cloud Nine Pajamas is the cutes pajama store I have ever seen. The fuzzy, flannel, cotton, terry towel or yoga flow all reside here and they range from practical to positively posh. I saw PJs with sushi, birds, cupcakes, flowers, snow fakes and on and on. There's a kid's section, a men's section, a sexy teddy section and then of course the tons of two-piece, anti-freeze-your-Alberta-A$$-off during winter and look totally chic while doing it, ones. I saw some brands that were way over $100, but I also saw some (on sale, have you) that were only $25. The store is well set up with two floors, room to walk around and not overly crowded - I really dislike overcrowded stores. And, the girl that was working when I was in was really friendly and nice. There are also cute bath products too; this is a wonderful place to purchase a gift for someone. I will definitely be popping in again in the future. Probably because it is now Spring, but there were a lot of great sale deals to be had... If you were a Large or XL PJ, get in there and check it out. I ended up at Cloud Nine PJs since my less than hospitable experience at Vi's for Pies on August 26th (those of you who read what happened know to that which I am referring)....so, alas, I didn't end up attending the Yelp Event, however, in getting to my evening destination early (about which I will write too), I took a stroll around the shops at High Street. First, who in their right mind, on a lovely summer evening (Friday no less) closes at between 5:30-6pm when there are folks around and about walking?? This is what happened when I got to this area, save Cloud Nine which closes at 7pm. So, with time to kill before my dinner date was to arrive, I peeked in to see what was new, and yes, what was on sale :-] I have shopped here before when they were at 149th & 104th and know they have nice things to consider. On this evening, with the great sale they were having and being open, I couldn't do anything except buy a nice new pair of summer 'jams :-] As always, the owners (and on this evening, it was her daughter working) were personable and easy. They have a reasonably sized selection of styles and materials too for their 'jams (and carry "Hanky Panky" underwear too)--even saw pi's for "Cinco de Mayo" :-]!! So, again, thank goodness I made it to my destination area early..... read more

This is a lovely little store located on Stony Plain Road. It is equally lovely on the inside as it is on the outside. Here you can find hundreds of pajamas and sleepwear that are sure to suite eveybody's needs. Whether you are looking for fleece pajamas to keep you warm during winter months or a sexy nigh gowns just like the ones those fabulous Park Avenue women wear in the movies - Cloud Nine has got them all! Some of the brands represented are Elle Macpherson, Vera Wang and Betsey Johnson. The materials range from polyester to cotton and bamboo. Unfortunatelly, I couldn't locate any silk sleepwear. All the items in the store come with hefty price tags but they do look like good quality pieces that will last a long time. There is a sales section.
