Whi cares wear has the top of the line best woman's clothing in the city possibly the province. You can shop in there if your 16 or 80 there is something for all ages. The store carries the most beautiful clothing I've ever seen. I shop in there regularly because the quality is second to none and thing last for years. I love this story, I just don't like the prices! This is a very high end store with a lot of very beautiful dresses in particular, as well as shirts, skirts and some pants. They don't really have a lot for jeans, but the SHOES! Oh my goodness the shoes. They make me squeal with glee every time I come in here, and then mope in despair when I usually can't afford any. This is a great store if you are looking for a very special item, hopefully that you will wear much more than once, but personally I would be afraid of wrecking anything I spent over 350$ on. Who cares what I wear? No, it's more like, who cares how much it costs! I walked in this store, walked over to the first rack, and grabbed the first price tag I saw: $400. Yikes! I kept looking, thinking that I just hit the "expensive" rack. Well, almost every dress I looked at was at least $300, usually more. And I was surprised when I saw the Betsey Johnson brand. I've never actually seen it before, except on TV... wow, it really does exist! But do people in Edmonton really buy these clothes? Who can afford it? Who can afford not to care how much it costs? I'll admit, some of these fashions were amazing. It was definitely like the high fashion stuff you'd see on Fashion Television, but I can't afford it. No way. Honestly, I think I could find comparable fashions for less at other independent Edmonton stores. Not all was lost though! There were a few affordable items here, like some really nice scarves for $30 and gloves for $15. The shoes were fairly reasonable as well. I saw brands like Nine West and MUDD. After reading some of the reviews, I also regret not checking out the upper floor, because I didn't know this was the clearance section. I'm all about getting a deal, so I'll be back to check it out. I found the sales staff to be really unpleasant. I'm looking for a dress to wear to a wedding and thought I'd take a look around. Nobody approached me to tell me about sales or anything even though they did for everybody else. The sales lady then proceeded to follow me around the store as if I were a thief (it was pretty obvious since she went upstairs when I did then downstairs when I did..). She also went over everything I touched and readjusted it. And no, I wasn't grabbing shirts and throwing them down in a heap or anything. It was a hot day and I was wearing a cheap F21 dress and my hair was a mess. I assume this is why I was being treated different than the other customers decked out in aritzia? Just because somebody isn't dressed up or wearing expensive clothes at the moment they're shopping doesn't mean they never dress up or can't afford nice things. For me, buying a Michael Kors dress at Who Cares was a decision based strictly on emotion. It was my one and only purchase there, and I am not sure whether I will be going back because I am scared of what might happen. The dresses at Who Cares are good enough to wear to red carpet (like that ever happens!), and the shoes selection would make Carrie Bradshaw proud. All items of clothing, shoes and accessories are neatly organized and showcased proudly. As you browse, you will feel your inner fashionista kick in- the feeling which suddenly becomes overpowered by the sad thought that you can hardly afford any of the beautiful clothes. I love the niche market that these clothing, shoe, and accessory items are geared towards; I just wish it were more budget friendly. The best thing to do is find one (or two) key pieces that can accent your wardrobe with your existing items; ideally these are in the sale section! All of the staff are very friendly so I never feel pressured or out of place while browsing. I have even mentioned "oh that is out of my budget" and they have responded with nice comments like "I understand" or "that's okay, maybe next time" which I find comforting. The clothes (and maybe the shoes) are the best part about this store. If you live for fashion, everything here will make you cry with glee. It's certainly a high-end store indeed, with top designer brands like Susana Monaco, Michael Kors, and Betsey Johnson. They have a wide shoe selection with the newest ones from lines like Nine West, and a great clutch collection as well. The jewelry is beautiful, but a bit overpriced. I know I can get good stuff like that for way cheaper elsewhere. They have a sale selection on the upper floor, although the sale prices don't seem any different. Seriously, I think my fingers are still burning from picking up those pricetags. The stuff here is beautiful, but it's a little ridiculous how much some of it costs. Service was also nonexistent when I went, as I seemed invisible to the salesgirls. I mean, I know I don't have money to spend here, but they don't know that! And I don't know about you, but I like to at least be acknowledged when I enter a store. It seems that beautiful and expensive clothing comes with snooty service. I have been past this store probably close to a hundred times and never gone in due to the fact im not exactly the boutique type but I just happened to need a gift for someone who is so I decided to make my first trip in today. After reading all the reviews for this place that noted how spotty the service can be I have to say I am fairly surprised as I got excellent service as soon as I walked in. I was greeted immediately and offered assistance by not one but two staff members. When I mentioned I was looking for a gift and inquired about whether or not they had any infinity scarves I was lead right to bin upstairs where some sale scarves were sitting and the lady even dug through all of them for me to pick out which ones were infinity scarves and which weren't. I got a great deal on my scarf because it was half off but admittedly alot of the product in here is ultra high end and therefore very pricey. I don't mean to imply it's not quality merchandise because it definitely is but being raised by a very frugal single mom has left me with the belief if your going to pay say eighty dollars for a shirt then it needs to be reflected moreso in the quality and not so much in the fact that it has a fancy brand name on the tag. With that being said however I would probably come back in the next time I found myself in need of a quality gift item for a stylish friend. This is a nifty boutique store on Jasper Avenue. I was drawn into it initially by the mannequins they'd set up outside dressed in the latest fashions. What got me in the door was a purse they had on display in the window. This is definitely higher-end clothing and accessories. The clothing is rather pricey but certainly haute couture. It is certainly trend-inspiring clothing that has its own indescribable uniqueness and charm. The feature window showcases the latest footwear and purses which is enough to make most women at least sneak a glance. The purse that caught my eye had a black and white photo of The Beatles on it. There was no question that I needed that purse. If you're looking for style that's a little different than most, this place is worth checking out. read more

That's the effect that this store has on me. It's got beautiful clothing, and they craftily seduce you inside with these headless mannequins out front modeling the latest arrivals. I've been at a stop light and caught a glimpse of a gorgeous dress, and that was it. I had to have it! (The headless mannequin allowed me to imagine my bobble top in her place. And I looked fabulous!! Well, I bought that long 100% silk black dress by Nougat for over $300 and I've never looked back. But I try to look the other way when driving by as much as possible. Why Care? carries designers lines like Betsey Johnson, kensie, true religion, industry, kersh, nougat, sinequanone, Miss Me, Twisted Heart, Soia & Kyo, xomo, Michael Kors. Everything here is expensive, even the sales items. Sometimes I come into the store, linger only briefly in the new arrivals area, then head upstairs to the clearance floor. Items are often reduced to 70%. A lot is picked over but sometimes you find something you love. Words of advice: pay your rent and buy your groceries BEFORE you come here. FINALLY! It had been quite a few years since I had been to Who Cares (simply out of utter forgetfulness) and gosh dang it, I am kicking myself now for not revisiting sooner! I was nothing short of in-awe after my arrival last week. Many of the amazing brands they carry I absolutely cannot find anywhere else in Edmonton, and am accustomed to finding only on my trips to New York or via ordering online. The racks were lush with Mackage jackets, Betsey Johnson & Robert Rodriguez to only mention a few. DROOL. On top of my delight at the clothing, the shoes were divine, and they had the sequined leather carry-on tote bag from Oprahs Must Have list I was recently about to order from Neiman Marcus! Of course the prices are not exactly cheap but also not unimaginably expensive, but when I come to a store like Who Cares I am looking specifically for designer, high quality, delectable and one of a kind pieces. And this, they definitely deliver on! I am in love! Their sale rack was also lovely, something to visit the store for alone! The customer service is also divine. I was greeted instantaneously and the delightful blonde woman was very attentive but never pushy or annoying. I felt comfortable and really enjoyed my visit (and my purchases). I would HIGHLY recommend Who Cares (both of their locations, as I just this weekend visited their south-west location) for a modern, different and beautiful take on fashion in Edmonton. Not happy. I purchased a bracelet from the Edmonton location, I wore it for two days and the gold became silver. The bracelet was originally priced at $50 so when I bought it on sale for $25 I thought I was getting something of decent quality. I called to see if it would be possible to return the bracelet and they said no because it was a sale item and sale items are final sale. I said that it's pretty bad customer service to sell someone something that's poor quality and then refuse to take it back after it doesn't last two days. She said "sorry you feel that way", which might as well been "sorry, not sorry". She did say I could come show her the bracelet, but judging by her initial response to my question its not worth the drive over there to deal with more terrible customer service. I understand sale items being final sale if you change your mind and want to take them back, but if something fails to last two days of wear the store should take it back. read more

I love the clothes, and although they are pricey, it isn't really surprising. They are carrying higher end brands that can be more difficult to find in Edmonton. My only problem is that I have on occasion found their staff to be snotty/snooty/snobby... whatever word you want to use. This isn't always the case, but it seems to really depend on whether I am wearing my own high-end clothes, or if I am stopping by in sweats before hitting Save-On Foods. I understand where they are coming from, but they have lost sales from me because of it. Great Clothes though, and since I am such a fan of their choices of what they bring in, they still get a 4/5 read more

I am disheartened and so disillusioned... I went in to Who Cares tonight because as we all know (from my previous review, if not more) that I am a shoe addict - but tonight, Who Cares broke my heart. I saw a new pair of shoes through the window that I so loved; I popped into the store and saw from the sticker on the shoe bottom that they had them in my size - hurrah! I waited for one of the 2 people working in the store to ask me if I needed assistance as I wandered the shoe section. I was the only customer in the store as it was around 20 minuets till closing time, but alas, no one would talk to me, nor help me out. After 10 minutes I finally left. As I exited I mentioned to the completely incompetent girl behind the front counter that I loved the one shoe I tried on and would have bought them if anyone had helped me out and brought the mate... she responded by saying "Oh Thanks"... Are you F*@&ing serious? I just literally/figuratively bitch slapped your chosen vocation and you say thanks!? Right. Someone's job needs to be reconsidered. Luckily for me every shoe carried by Who Cares can be found elsewhere. But still, I am I just so hurt that a place I have probably spent over 10 grand in, in the last 10 years would make me feel so terrible to the point that I never want to return, ever. Who Cares is a nice boutique with lots of great quality items and brands that I don't know where else to find in the city (ie. Kersh sweaters and Betsey Johnson dresses). However, the staff has never really impressed me. They're usually really disinterested and unhelpful, which you can forgive on an off day but I've been to Who Cares dozens of times. Be prepared to meander about the store unnoticed and unhelped for at least the first 20 minutes you're there. But you're going to get great items, and sometimes catch a great sale, so it's worth your time to browse. End of season shoe sales at Who Cares are unparalleled in the whole city -- buy one get one 50% Steve Maddens? Yes, please! Mark downs on other almost-out-of-season items are equally kind to your pocketbook. Actually, I would even go as far as to suggest never paying full price at Who Cares (unless it's jeans or jewelry) because their sales are really THAT good... or maybe I'm just cheap.
