Every time I go in I just want to lounge on the settee and have my servants cater to my every whim. OK, back to reality. As mentioned, Anthropologie is a hodge podge (I mean that in a good way) of clothing, decor and books. The clothes can be a bit over the top but the closer you look the more likely you'll find something of interest. The cool thing is they also have kids toys and housewares. It's almost a one stop shop. Another dose of reality is their prices. They're on the high side, but like many things in life you get what you pay for. Often times you can find the decor items at a better price, but by the time you find (if you even do) you'll likely have spend that much in time and effort. If you have eclectic tastes go here and have a feast of eye candy.

If you like to wear more unique brands, this store carries lines from New York and L.A., including Line & Dot, Anlo and Yumi Kim. The quality is fantastic - luscious, cozy, elegant fabrics and designs - sexy & sophisticated, inspired by more than a hint of Paris, and most of the pricing is reasonable, although there are a few higher-end price tags about the store. I came back 5 days after the purchase, with my receipt and tags still on the dress and wanted to return it. The sales girl said they did not do returns, OK fine I would have gladly taken a store credit, but they don't do that either. I was not told this at the time of purchase. One of the dresses I bought was on sale so they told me it was a final sale... that's pretty standard. But I was not told that they would only do an exchange right then and there. There was nothing in the store that I wanted since I was just there 5 days prior and bought everything I was interested in. None of the girls helped me. Finally I found something (that I know I will never wear) and went to exchange it. It was $3 dollars cheaper than the dress I was bringing back and the girl told me I couldn't get my $3 dollars back!! Finally after telling me there was nothing they could do, she called over a very rude young lady and she refunded my debit card the $3. If I could have just received a store credit I would have continued to shop there. Now I will never go back and I'm stuck with a dress I will never wear!

How could you not use and love them for $2? Even if you don't buy anything, I'm sure you will find something funny or entertaining in this store. The selection of vintage shirts is varied and the cost around $30.

We took a chance on Sara's and I'm so glad we did. It was the second store we went to. We walked in on May 19th, with Grad coming up on June 7th. The saleslady acknowledged that it was a tight timeline, but wasn't worried. She explained the layout of the store and let us look around for a few minutes. She was incredibly helpful with pulling dresses and getting them done up. We found THE dress quite easily. It was only the second or third one that was tried on, but there was no interest in anything else after that. They had the correct size/colour combo in their warehouse and said it would be in in a week. So, back we went on May 24th to try on the dress again. The seamstress was standing by to make note of what we wanted done, and made a few suggestions. I was worried but she assured me that the dress would be ready by June 5th and it would be perfect. She was right. It was absolutely stunning. It fit perfect and the alterations were amazing. The dress was $525 and the alterations were $189, but hey... you only graduate once! I would definitely recommend this store to others. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Side note... on one of our visits to the store, there was a lady there trying on dresses for her wedding. She was probably in her 40s or 50s and mentioned that this was her 3rd wedding. The staff gushed over her like they would any young bride and helped her find the dress of her dreams. It was so heartwarming to watch.

I have been a big fan of Fossil watches for over three years. The designs are fun, the prices are…read morereasonable and the three watches I own have held up through the wear and tear I have put them through. Recently, the battery died on two of my watches and I thought that since they were both Fossil I would take them into the WEM location for a battery replacement, instead of my usual stop at The Bay. Everything turned out OK in the end, but I wish I hadn't taken my watch into this store. When they replace batteries or do any service at this store, they take the watches into the back, so you have no idea what is going on with them. After waiting for about 15 minutes, the saleswoman came out to the front with one of my watches and said that they didn't have a battery for the second watch, and that they were also having some trouble with the screws in the back, so it would be a few minutes before the second watch was ready. I thought this was odd - why wouldn't they have a battery for a watch that has 10 different style iterations currently on display? I took my functioning watch and paid, and put the second watch in my bag to take to The Bay to get a battery. When I got to The Bay, the man that was responsible for watch repair informed me that the screws on the back plate of the watch were stripped and that he didn't even want to try to get them off. I looked closely, and sure enough, two of the screws were mangled pretty bad. Since I have never replaced the battery on this watch, this only could have been caused by the Fossil store. I marched back down the length of the mall to the Fossil store to see what they would do for me. Again, it goes into the back, and 10 minutes later the manager comes to talk to me. He said that clearly the man at the other store ruined my watch, and they hadn't done anything wrong, but "just this time" they would do a damage replacement. After waiting for them to find the a replacement model in their system, it was put on hold at the Southgate location for me to pick up. It was really frustrating to have my watch damaged by the store, and even more frustrating that they wouldn't accept responsibility for it. After I left the store I wondered if they just couldn't get the screws out in the first place and made up the excuse about the battery being unavailable? Either way, I question both the competency for repairs and the honesty of the store, and I will not bring any of my watches back to this location.
