Truly as good as it gets. I rented a 20' ocean container, brand new - never used, to store our household furniture for five months while we did a rehab of our home. We purchased moving blankets off the web rather than rent them. The driver came with the container on a ramp truck and placed with the precision of surgeon exactly where we wanted it and just inches from a 10' driveway lamp. It was 20'-30' away from the house and with the sea-seal rubber gasket on the doors, this thing is dry in a Cat 5 Hurricane; and we got to test it a few times with torrential driving rain and everything from our piano to our mahogany desk was snug as a bug in a rug. It was close if we needed to add or remove something and it was a lot of cubic feet. We had looked at pods but even the larger one was not as big cubic foot wise as the container which also was half the price of a pod. With steel walls and sealed doors the new container was just perfect. I really can't say enough good things about this very progressive company who I have since learned have tons of different sizes and buy them new and bring them in like Russian boxes; all nested inside each other. So whether you're storing a lawnmower or a 2 ton truck; they have the size to fit. We called and left a message on Sunday that we were all set and they could retrieve the again empty container any time and they showed within 24 hours and happily and SKILLFULLY plucked it up and took it away. I cut an 8x8 landscape timber into four sections and put one under each corner in an attempt to save the grass under where this sat from August until January. Worked like charm! Again the driver was so helpful in positioning the container exactly where we wanted and needed it. If I could give them 8 stars I would; they were that good for us! My first rental was a 20' in August 2022, and I still have it. A couple of weeks ago I added a 10' to family. In both cases the driver, Erick, was fantastic. He was courteous, professional, and very skilled at placing each unit as close and level as possible to my needs. He never rushed the process. Great customer service. Other than relatively minor price differences, it might seem that there is not much to differentiate one shipping container company from another. But when you consider responsiveness and fast skilled delivery, then Mini-Warehousing stands out as stellar. Oh, and their price is great too. When we began our renovation project it became obvious we would need some temporary on-site storage. I called a competitor (starts with a V) who looked at the site and said they wouldn't do it. I called Mini Warehousing and they said "no problem". And it wasn't. Eric did the delivery and pickup of the 20' unit and he is a magician in handling the truck and the storage unit. They delivered the day after next, and I live about 2hrs away from them. The driver was fantastic. The delivery of the storage unit was great, it went very smoothly. Bob the driver was great. He was on time, actually a couple of minutes early, he called to let me know he was on his way and he accommodated my request for placement of the container. I asked that it be placed a little farther back on the property by the side of the house. Bob was able to place it exactly as I wanted it. It was all done in a matter of minutes. We have rented alot of containers over the years for both business and personal use. Yes the price is often the driving force in such a competitive world, but we also get clean, dry, pleasing to the eye units. that always are better priced than any others. We never have to worry about embarrassment in locations where you might worry about damaged, dented or just junky looking units. Even the ones we have sent out to construction sites are always the best looking in the bunch. Skill of the driver is also recognized, as we sometime are not sure we can fit the unit in, but Bob always come through without even a drop of sweat!!! We had been looking for a 20 foot container for a while and kept putting it off. When we finally committed to doing it, we went with Mini Warehousing and could not be happier with that decision. From the emails back and forth to finally going in to meet the staff and look at a unit and all the way to the delivery, everything was perfect and the people wonderful. I would like to start by saying this review comes after a bad experience I had with this company leaving me a very unsatisfied customer. (see previous review) I felt it was only fair to take the time to leave a second review because since the incident in question occurred, I have received a phone call from Brian, the guy in charge, telling me that he did not feel right that I left his office unhappy (to put it lightly). He asked me what he could do to make the situation right and what I thought was a fair price. I told him what I thought was right and fair and without hesitation, he accepted the amount I gave him and immediately began the process of crediting my account. It is not very often that a company cares enough about their customer's satisfaction to personally reach out to the customer and to do what needs to be done to make it right.
