They gave me a pretty good deal, if you're a student ask about special rates, and it was about the same rate as I had been paying. Another plus is that they'll let you use your own lock, which I've found to be rare in storage units, and the facilty is very clean, and I found it to be pretty well lit for a storage unit. Yellowbrick is in a narrow alley, and has multiple levels, however that wasn't too big of a hassle. The staff was always super friendly, especially Trevor, who ended up helping us back out of the ally in a big truck and stopped traffic for us too. If you do have a bigger vehicle definitely be aware that there could be some problems. When I was moving out of the storage unit I used their new delivery service. It was $90 but I found it to be worth every penny. They delivered to me on Labor Day, and generally seemed to be working that entire weekend and really flexible. The guys were very friendly, on time, and incredibly helpful. They were so wonderful, especially as I was all by myself trying to move a carload of stuff. If you're looking for storage near Boston, I would say this is a great bet.

I went there on a hot day and the inside was nice and cool. Is the entrance spacious? No, but that didn't stop me from comfortably driving a 10' U-Haul truck right up to the door. And when I had to back out, Tom was great about directing me and stopping the traffic on Harvard Ave. As for the hours, they are clearly stated on the company's website. If you are literate enough to write a review here, then you should have no problem reading the clearly printed hours on the website. Is this place ultra-modern? No. Are the insides of the storage bins well-lit? No. But neither of those things is incredibly important (unless you're planning on illegally living in the storage unit). I've stored stuff at other places such as Brighton Storage and the storage wasn't well-lit there either. I'm not so crazy about the paint flaking off the brick walls, but honestly, there is absolutely no need for there to be paint on the walls. It doesn't protect things any better (although, again, for those planning on illegally trying to live in a storage unit, it might make you feel more at home). The other thing is that after you finish dropping off your stuff, you can go to S&I (probably the greatest Thai restaurant in Boston) on Brighton Ave. and stuff yourself. And then you can grab some brews at the liquor store on the corner. I don't know who the owner is, but as far as I'm concerned, Tom should be getting paid more. That guy turned an incredibly hectic and stress-filled day into something a lot less so. Great job!

Before I even called EZ Storage, they called me, saying they needed to refund me and asking where should they send the check. The guys at front desk are courteous and reasonable. The storage was always well lit, a good temperature, with plenty of carts, and several different options from 5x5 to 5x10 to 10x10. Auto access is easy, drive-in, drive-out. Good hours. Only reason the rating isn't five stars was they were a little trigger happy about putting an extra lock on the cube if the rent was a little shy. This would happen whenever the rates were hiked and the automatic payment hadn't been adjusted yet. A warning sticker would have been nice. But the guys at front desk were pleasant about getting it off... as soon as payment was made.

I looked at 20+ facilities all around the metro area and nothing comes vaguely close to the safety, cleanliness, and service provided here. Drive through bay for your car and truck makes you feel super safe even if you're a female going to and front the unit alone (most storage facilities are terrifying). The bay is also clutch for moving trucks especially if a rain storm or blizzard hits on moving day (we had one of each). It's well lit and bright. Units are all super clean as is the rest of the facility. It's well staffed and Leo is wonderful. Climate control will keep your precious belongings safe even in frigid Boston winters or humid summers. We tell everyone we know about ezstorage. I had just resigned to the fact that all storage units are terrible, sketchy places often with homeless people living in them if you're anywhere near Boston, oh and they'll rip you off too and raise your rates or never stop billing you. Storing your goods does not have to be misery, people!! Go to EZstorage now. They're honest and wonderful. You have actual peace of mind knowing your stuff is safe. Beacon St in Brighton) only had one. I didn't even know this was an option until I clicked on "locate nearby" and Watertown Self Storage popped up. Not only did they have what I needed (and picked up 30 minutes later) but to avoid the craziness at the N. Beacon St location is a relief. Watertown Self Storage is clean, organized and new; U-Haul is old, dirty and a hot mess. The 9 foot cargo van is also available for pick up here (and can be picked up during off hours!!!) and I have a tentative reservation for that later this month as well. As expected, they were easy to work with, pleasant all around from the texts to the phone to the muscle! Three nice guys showed up. We weren't even done packing yet, which they took in stride, and helped us wrap, box and tape like champs. They even had to take some big items out the back way and hoist them over the 2nd floor railing! In the new place, they positioned our rugs, and our sofa and desks, even assembled our Sleep Number bed and adjusted the setting. They are VERY experienced in all things! And only one item broke, and it was too easy to break, and will be good as new with some Crazy Glue. I hope we don't have to move again anytime soon (knock wood!) but if we do, I know who to call!
