Truly as good as it gets. I rented a 20' ocean container, brand new - never used, to store our…read morehousehold furniture for five months while we did a rehab of our home. We purchased moving blankets off the web rather than rent them. The driver came with the container on a ramp truck and placed with the precision of surgeon exactly where we wanted it and just inches from a 10' driveway lamp. It was 20'-30' away from the house and with the sea-seal rubber gasket on the doors, this thing is dry in a Cat 5 Hurricane; and we got to test it a few times with torrential driving rain and everything from our piano to our mahogany desk was snug as a bug in a rug. It was close if we needed to add or remove something and it was a lot of cubic feet. We had looked at pods but even the larger one was not as big cubic foot wise as the container which also was half the price of a pod. With steel walls and sealed doors the new container was just perfect. I really can't say enough good things about this very progressive company who I have since learned have tons of different sizes and buy them new and bring them in like Russian boxes; all nested inside each other. So whether you're storing a lawnmower or a 2 ton truck; they have the size to fit. We called and left a message on Sunday that we were all set and they could retrieve the again empty container any time and they showed within 24 hours and happily and SKILLFULLY plucked it up and took it away. I cut an 8x8 landscape timber into four sections and put one under each corner in an attempt to save the grass under where this sat from August until January. Worked like charm! Again the driver was so helpful in positioning the container exactly where we wanted and needed it. If I could give them 8 stars I would; they were that good for us! Thanks MiniWarehousing!

My new place has a tiny, steep entrance stairway and they couldn't get my couch or box spring up it. They didn't miss a beat and hoisted them up to the third floor onto my back deck and into the unit. An all around great experience. Will def use them again and recommend them to all of my clients. Well done!

While the gentleman who did my paperwork for Guardian was pleasant enough, and the rate was competitive, I experienced an unrecoverable loss of a red leather chair, to what appeared to be rodent(s) chewing at it. There were a few newly purchased packing boxes which also suffered the same type of damage. When I brought this to the attention of Brad, the manager of the facility, he told me about the facility's insurance coverage and pointed me in their direction. (I guess that was easier for him than just telling me what he surely already knew.) I filled out a multiple page claim form online and provided clear evidence with pictures. About a week later I get a form letter back telling me that I'd be covered for a natural disaster, but if their storage unit had rodent infestation resulting in damage to my property, that was not covered. Moral of the story would be to inspect the unit thoroughly; ask the unlikely questions; and get representations in writing. Not a good experience.

Extremely Disappointing Experience with RA Movers -- Unprofessional and Unacceptable Service…read more Our experience with RA Movers was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this company based on the service and professionalism we received. To start, they left our 70-inch TV behind in their truck, and we were left trying to get answers about when our property would actually be delivered. Communication and accountability were frustrating from the beginning. Even more concerning was the behavior of the owner. During phone conversations with both my wife and me, the owner came across as condescending, confrontational, and seemingly intent on bullying rather than addressing our legitimate concerns professionally. Customers should never have to deal with that kind of attitude when simply asking a company to take responsibility for its mistakes. On top of everything else, RA Movers filmed videos for their own promotional content despite both my wife and me explicitly stating that we did not consent to being filmed for that purpose. Despite our clear objections, the videos were posted anyway. Disregarding customers' stated boundaries and then using that footage for promotional purposes is completely unacceptable. Mistakes can happen in any business, but how a company handles those mistakes says everything about its character. Forgetting a customer's property, treating customers disrespectfully when they raise concerns, and disregarding their objections to promotional filming demonstrate a serious lack of professionalism and accountability. Moving is already stressful enough without having to chase down missing belongings and deal with an owner who makes the situation worse instead of resolving it. I strongly recommend considering other moving companies. Based on our experience, RA Movers fell well short of the level of service, communication, respect, and accountability that customers should reasonably expect from a professional moving company.
