We used this moving service recently and were overall satisfied with their service and work ethic. A few items were damaged and I think we're missing a few lamps/lamp shades, but we ended up moving a lot more stuff than we expected. Honestly, I searched many reviews of moving services. I would recommend this service again - especially if your move is local. I think when you're planning a move you might not anticipate how much stuff you have and how much time it will take. We were given an hourly rate and an estimate based on our description of our stuff. In reality, on move day, we had a lot more stuff and it took a lot longer than I had anticipated. While we were extremely prepared to move and it still took 7 hours. We were given an estimate of 2,000lbs of stuff, but in reality we had about 7,000lbs of stuff. But my husband and I felt that the workers never slacked off and did a reasonably good job moving our things. They were professional and nice guys. We value that they a good service and were attentive to our requests. read more

Pickup date was rescheduled 3 times and 3 days from the original date. When items were delivered more than half my stuff is missing. There was some confusion on how many crates were at the receiving location and how many that should be delivered. Also found out after the fact all my boxes should have been numbered and itemized, Now I am having to go back and try to remember how many boxes were picked up and what was in each box. Minimoves is trying to find my missing items however 5 days later they still have no idea. Because of this I have also had to go out and purchase new items to hold me over until either my stuff is found or a claim can be done which I am hoping does not come to that. Some things are just irreplaceable. read more

A true reflection of a company is their care, concern and involvement when a problem arises. Although I experienced a few hiccups in my move from Colorado to Florida, the staff and executives at MiniMove, Inc were a class act and provided an exceptional level of customer service to correct the issues and concerns I had, better yet it was corrected above my expectations. Word of advise to the consumer, stay engaged in your move - but know the staff has your best interest in mind! Thanks MiniMoves for making a chaotic move across the country a little more at ease. read more

Excellent Service! I hired MiniMoves on very short notice and they helped me with everything. Their coordination and organization were the best. The guys who came for the move were quick and didn't even take a break. Hard workers! Overall I am very very satisfied and I would definitely suggest them to my friends and family! read more

My first experience was a good one. Moving is always stressful and MiniMoves helped relieve some of that stress. Excellent customer service very much appreciated and I would gladly use this service again. read more

NEVER, EVER USE MINI MOVES!!!! They are terrible and nickled and dimed me every step of the way. We were also misinformed so many times by their incompetent staff that by the time my stuff arrived I was so furious I could punch something. The guy who did my estimate forgot to list crucial items, like my bed; the movers who came didn't have the proper paperwork and had to write my inventory by hand, they gave us the wrong information about how they calculate cost, and when they did FINALLY deliver my stuff the amount due was more than DOUBLE the cost they estimated, not to mention, on the contract I opted out off the insurance, but apparently that contract wasn't enough, as the fine print said I had to sign an additional form that I never received! WTF??? That was an additional $200 on top of 2x the estimated cost. Further, they misinformed us about the delivery window, and we had to pay an additional fee $200 fee to have it arrive on time!! And to add insult to injury, when I asked for a breakdown for how they arrived at the total cost, they said they would e-mail it to me, but I have yet to receive this e-mail or a receipt! That was over two weeks ago. How hard is it to send an effing e-mail? And last but not least, in order to pay for all of these additional fees, and the insurance that I OPTED OUT OF, I asked them to use a different card for payment, but they charged it all to the same card! These people are incompetent middle men just trying to make an extra buck. I would advise just going through moving companies directly. I plan on sueing them when I am an attorney soon. Save yourself the time and frustration and use a different moving service! Worst experience EVER! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Good grief. read more

After quite a bit of comparison shopping I chose MiniMoves for my daughter's move. I felt they were the company that was straightforward -- no gimmicks, such as free tape, etc. Also, all movers have loads of complaints so I looked to find a company with fewer complaints. Despite the movers stuck in traffic which delayed our start time and ended up causing us to rush to finish before our time expired at the dock of her new place, things were efficiently loaded, nothing damaged, lost or broken and the team of three employees (beware of companies that hire day labor or temps) were polite and hardworking. Cost was just as expected. Professional company. I recommend this company! read more

I don't recommend Mini Moves. The only reason I went with them is that they were less expensive than some competitors. The customer service girl had an attitude of sorts but I stayed with them based on price. I shipped a bed and it was DAMAGED. The plastic cover came off of it, placed on by the mover. When it arrived, it had dirt and mud on it. Mini moves uses several contractors along the way, so there is no accountability. I did not bother to call to complain since I do not want to deal with them anymore. What a shame. read more

I had had a good experience with Minimoves before so I thought I would have no problems with their services in my most recent move from Seattle to Chicago. Unfortunately, there turned out to be many problems that have cost me time and money and made moving with them a pain. 1. Lack of proper communication. I had the pickup day confirmed a week in advance, but then received no communication about the time of day the movers were coming. I called the office three times the day before and they always said they would call me back. I never received a call. I ended up getting up at 6:30am Seattle time to check in with them when the Chicago office opened, only to receive the information that they had no idea when the pickup would be scheduled. 2. My agent never mentioned insurance to me so I had not selected an insurance plan, and it turns out that when we sign to say the furniture was picked up was the moment we were supposed to pick an insurance plan. My mover helpfully wrote in "per contract" - turns out the contract is ambiguous about insurance coverage and that was the moment I had to pick one. Which is a problem because, as you will see below, there was substantial damage to my shipment because the company did not pack the furniture as they had promised in writing that they would. 3. Many furniture items were not wrapped at all, despite explicit mention of furniture wrapping being the responsibility of Minimoves, and there was damage to three of my items including a couch that will cost over $1,300 to recover. I documented with photos and listed the cost of my shipment and cost of the damage. Perhaps not surprisingly, Minimoves has been slow to respond to the claim. 4. Cost was high - in fact over $1,000 higher than other estimates I had received. I had had a good experience with Minimoves before so I thought I was paying for a premium service, but this turned out not to be the case. read more

An unmitigated boondoggle. A half-assed fiasco. An expensive tour of the outer edges of incompetence. - Unclear on timing - movers show up in a window, like the cable company. - Missed the window by several hours anyway, so who cares? - Poor systems for assessing amount of items to be moved - they ask you over the phone (i.e., off the top of your head). When I offered to update the list, the coordinator said no need. The movers were surprised. - Poor communication between management and the movers - the movers were not informed that we specifically needed packing assistance, which I mentioned when I first called. - Hourly rates get hella expensive fast. - Even though the movers showed up five hours late, management requested that we have the rest of our things moved in a few days, so he could meet timing on the next customer's move. You know, for fairness's sake. - I ended up helping the movers, to save time and costs. - Cost twice as much as estimate. Seriously, these guys could stand to get their shit together. The movers themselves were great - respectful, careful, efficient (which was gonna get them an extra star, but shouldn't that really be the baseline for a company that makes money moving your stuff?). They are unfortunately very poorly managed. And seriously, what kind of company rides the customer's ass when they've overextended on their commitments? The manager kept saying "it's not my fault". I respectfully disagree. read more

From the initial call to the final delivery of our property Minimove was terrific. The salesperson we talked to was very knowledgeable, courteous and fully explained everything about Minimove. A courteous crew showed up to pack and cart away our property. Almost to the minute, a few weeks later, our property arrived at our new home. This is an ideal way to move a small amount of boxes etc. Pricewise, it compares favorably with pods and renting a truck for the move. It was a pleasure not to have to do the packing myself or lugging around boxes. read more

I used this company to move state to state and had some issues. TK was great and setting up my move, taking all my information. The movers door to door were great, packed and wrapped items and inwrapped liked pros. Great men doing a great job. The problem I had was with customer service and getting information about when my items would arrive as I had to reverse an elevator so I needed a date. I was told two different dates by two different people who work for the same company. You would think they would have a system to be on the same page. I had to do the follow up, call and check on the status of my items. It was just poor customer service, thankfully the drivers and movers made up for the mistakes of the customer service group. They did the work it helping make my move end up working out. The stars I rate this on is for the men packing and moving the people who decide to use this company. read more

They gave me choice of price Options. Option 1 was included insurance and option 2 was not included Insurance. From begining I told them I would like to choose option 2 and I do not need insurance. The customer person told me Ok. But the end after they delivered my stuffs. They told me they will charge me for option 1 which us included insurance which a coupld hundreds dollar more. I told them I did not choose option 1. But they made excuses Oh, because of law. Plus they came to deliver my stuffs in the morning and forgot my stuffs to bring. Plus the dirver did not give me any explanation and left. Then same driver came back in the afternoon and delivered. Then ai asked what happened in the morning. He said he made mistakes and took wrong truck. No apologies to me. Also the customer person did not apology and only made excuses. Terrible Terrible customer service! I never use this company again. This is a horrible company. I wish I had been warned about how dishonest and incompetent they are. So I'm warning you, DO NOT let MINI MOVES touch your property! I was desperate to do a small move across the company. Knowing now what I didn't know when I started this process, I'm urging you to figure out another way to move your items. You will deeply regret the money, time and aggravation that you will spend dealing with Mini Moves. Run don't juwalk away from this grossly negligent and incompetent company! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are horrible. They were 3 hours late. They did not call to say they were going to be late. Customer service was not helpful or apologetic. They movers complained the whole time and damaged a lot of our furniture. Then could not get our couch up. Hired different movers the next day that got the couch in our apt in 15 minutes. Worst moving experience possible. Filing a claim has also been a long, horrible process. Go with Jays Movers if you are moving in the Chicago area. Same price, great people. read more

This was my first time using a moving company and while I was happy with the pricing, I could have been happier with the treatment of my furniture and goods. When I examined my shipment, I found that I many things were broken and damaged. When I made a claim, I did so modestly, trying to get a small sum that would be required to fix only two of the broken items- an antique chest of drawers and a picture frame. -Since another moving company packed a painting , they would not pay to fix the frame or glazing. -Instead of paying a modest sum required to fix the chest of drawers, they gave me a "settlement" based on the weight of the chest of drawers. Apparently, my antique chest of drawers is worth $.60 a pound. (NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE VALUE). I feel fortunate that more valuable items were not broken in the shipment, because I don't think I could handle being a "settlement" of .$60 a pound for some of my furniture that has cost a great deal. Also, Mini-moves took a calculated 5 months to respond to my claim- probably after 5 months they knew I would have gotten over the damage to my grandfathers chest and painting. I would only use mini-moves in the future if I were shipping books or old, near-worthelss furniture... otherwise, I'd find safer ways for anything of worth. read more

Extremely happy with MiniMoves!! When I started getting quotes with movers I was kinda horrified by the high pressure techniques to close the deal. But from the start, talking to Mini Moves made me feel at ease, like I was talking to a regular person who wasn't out to cause me grief. All communication from start to finish was professional, on time, and we were all on the same wave length. No tricks, no surprises, up front I got a quote that didn't change. The pick - up crew and delivery crew were professional, courteous, easy to deal with...just a wonderful surprise. At delivery the guys went above the call of duty to assemble a tv stand and hoist my tv on top, so grateful! Could not be more pleased from beginning to end. No damage, no surprises. Thank you!! read more

I used MiniMoves for a small apartment move from San Diego to D.C. and had a very positive experience, from my initial conversations to finalize a quote until the day my belongings were delivered. On both ends, the movers arrived promptly within the designated window (for my move-in they even arrived early) and worked quickly but with care. For my move-out, all of my furniture was wrapped securely to my liking and I had no concerns that my boxes containing breakables would be thrown around. I also had a positive experience communicating with my MiniMoves reps through the booking process and after my belongings were picked up when I needed to put everything into storage with MiniMoves at the last minute. They were accommodating at every step along the way. I would definitely use MiniMoves again for a future move! read more

I recently used MiniMoves to move my grandmother to a different state. I have personally moved many times and this was the easiest move with the most efficient company I have ever used. I called for a quote on Thursday and scheduled the move for the Saturday of that same week! They provided excellent communication to me throughout the entire move process. I have already recommended them to several friends in the area. I especially like the concept of not having to meet a weight limit, which was something I ran into with a handful of other moving companies ---MiniMoves worked with me to assure I had the best rate and my grandmother had the best experience. Thank you! read more

I haven't tried a lot of movers but with my experience with Mini Moves, I can say that a service can not be as bad as theirs. Starting from the loading, I was told the crew arrival time will be 9 to 10 am. After several phone calls, mails and several reschedules, the crew finally came at 3:30 PM. In the meantime, i had to postpone all my works as there was no definite time for the crew arrival and the lady from the mover's side, to whom I was talking all this time, was very rude to answer with any specifics. Now, today it is more than 17 days and I do not have any delivery date from their side. They have confirmed that the shipment has arrived the destination state 4 days back but customer care has no idea when will it be delivered to me. Made approx 10 calls but the only answer they have is they do not know when they can deliver. When I ask them to call the warehouse and get the detail they put me on hold for some time and would reply that the warehouse did not get a chance to look for the schedules for my delivery so far. Once they are ready to have a look they will call me back. In between the above, there was a customer rep who even denied that the shipment has ever reached the destination state and told me it is going to take much more time. After I said that the other reps told me that the shipment has already arrived, she finally agreed that it has reached. In this entire episode, I am the one who is suffering as I am forced to extend my hotel stay one day at a time and even after renting a house and paying for it, i am forced to stay in a hotel and pay out of my pocket for the hotel as well. I told my condition to the movers and they seemed least empathetic to my problems. read more

Cannot say enough good things about Mini Moves. The process, from my initial quote to the delivery of my stuff Was seamless. They gave me a 4 day window for pick up and they came day 1. My delivery window was just shy of 2 weeks and they called on day 2 of that window to schedule delivery. They were responsive to my calls, changes, requests, etc... A big shout out to the guys that delivered my stuff today, they were efficient and helped me move a piece of furniture I couldn't move myself. I would definitely recommend Mini Moves!! read more

After spending two weeks looking into moving companies I chose Mini Moves. I travel to Seattle quite often for work and it came to the point where I needed to get a small place there to stay while travelling. Of all the companies I called, only MiniMoves was able to give me a specific delivery date option for a very reasonable price. This was important because all of the other companies were quoting two and three week windows for delivery, which is fine in some cases but I only has a small timeframe to accept my items. After signing the contract, I was told that they would pick up my belongings between October 18 and October 23. On October 12, the MiniMoves agent in San Diego, called and said they would be at the house October 18 between 8 and 9am. They were on time and got everything into the truck in about an hour. I was told that they would contact me later to schedule delivery. The Seattle agent called as promised and the items were delivered on my promised date as scheduled. The MiniMoves representative in Chicago was very helpful and patient answering all of my questions during the move process. Would definitely recommend using MiniMoves to all friends and family. read more

Alfonso, Driver ID: 3643 was awesome. He helped us move out furniture and pack our moving van as requested. However, he went above and beyond that by offering to help pack on all of our boxes as well and did it under his estimated amount of time. He was like a Tetris master fitting everything in its place. I highly recommend him if he's available. Very reasonable and flexible. read more

Mini moves did an excellent job for me. They came on time to do the estimate. The estimate was very fair. And when they came to finally pick up the load they made a notation of what went on the truck and when it got to the final destination, they actually reduced my bill because I had one box that was smaller than originally planned. They were fair and they were timely and I thought they did a fantastic job. Their bid was significantly lower than a big moving company. The unloaded into the house and not one item was broken. Since items were being shipped from NY to Austin and the rest were coming from California to Austin they were able to coordinate the two shipments to be delivered together in one load. They said they weren't sure it could be done, but it was clear they worked hard to make it work. They could not have been nicer. I think the negative reviews must be unique to those vendors. My shipment was handled with great care. read more

I used Mini Moves from my move to New York to Chicago a couple months ago. BEWARE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR ITEMS. The service from the movers that picked up and disassembled my furniture was great. The service from the movers that delivered my items to Chicago were also great, they also helped me assemble my furniture as well as delivered everything in a timely manner. HOWEVER, the middlemen involved between states STOLE MY ITEMS. It took me awhile to unpack however, after a couple days of unpacking, I realized that there were a couple of items missing. Two of the boxes did look like it had opened in transit and I did not think anything of it. I figured that since I packed my items myself it was probably my fault that a leather bag and a pair of boots fell out. I was ready to forget about it but one day, I was going through my purses and was searching for the leather clutch my boyfriend had given me. I had purposely hidden this clutch in one of my other bags due to the fact that it was brand new and did not want it to get damaged in transit. To my surprise that leather clutch was GONE! For someone to even find that, they had to open EVERY single purse in my box. Not only did they steal something, they had the nerve to open every single purse and search for other valuable items. I am beyond disappointed that Mini Movers would not take responsibility for this. I paid for insurance but they claimed that since I packed my own items it was not under the insurance policy. Not even sure why they even made me pay insurance since it did not help me anyway. BEWARE of the theft within this company. If you have valuable items, I would rather pay a higher cost and go with someone that can be trusted. I tried to file a claim but they make it impossible. NOT WORTH IT. read more

I had an amazing experience with MiniMoves. I moved about 25 boxes from Las Vegas to Indiana and didn't need to lift a finger (well, besides the packing obviously). Everyone I talked with in customer service was polite and helpful and made me feel very comfortable in entrusting all my possessions with them. They gave me general and money-saving packing tips for the move, and took care of everything on their end. I needed only make my trip and await the boxes on the other end. Delivery took about 7 business days, arriving well within the time window MiniMoves quoted. Not only was the experience wonderful, but they offered by far the cheapest price. I will definitely use them again if I make another move sometime in the future. read more

To be clear before i am presenting all my points, this is the very first time i am leaving bad yelp review ever. I never do this even the service is a bit unsatisfied cauze i totally understand running business is not easy, but this time, it's just outrageous. Situation: I moved from Chicago to San Francisco. With the referral from friends I picked Minimoves (even they mentioned Minimoves is bad in indemnification and warn me to buy the extra insurance avoiding the situation they met). Quote: To be honest, the quote process is smooth. The sales rep was warmly introduce all the services and process, and be flexible on the picking and delivering date for me. And I bought the EXTRA insurance as he suggested, which the insurance itself costed me over $500. And not surprisingly, he guaranteed all the damages and lost will be payed if any, and he insisted they are very experienced and there shouldn't be any. Pick up: The pick up service is good. They work very hard. But there happens first tricky part, the final price (after they packed everything) is almost doubled the quote, but the volume (number of parcels) is only 20% more than the quote. The moving guy and customer service says they are counting the weights rather than the number of boxes, which is different from what i was told in quote. But following the prices, i still feel it's totally acceptable. Deliver: First of all, the deliver person is not belonging to Minimovers at all. They did a great job of moving everything into my new place. But, there are multiple items been lost. I have about 40ish items in total, and they lost 4 boxes (the medium size), one big luggage suitcase (yes, like the ones you need to check at the airport), and one bicycle. While i can't believe they can loss so many big items, and the deliver person were regretting of accepting the job, they still calm me down by mentioning i bought the full insurance. Insurance: This is horrible. First, they respond very quick, and ask me to fill a list of items been lost. After unpack all the bags and checking all the items (except i know i lost my $3000 wedding suits and other jackets in that luggage), we found out the two boxes of my wife's hand bags has been lost. I tried to recall all the detail info for these bags, find the pictures and the price online to give a reasonable evaluation on these items (which took me over 10+ hours). Finally, i send the list to them and the total value is about $20k (think about i spent $5k for moving). After waiting for couple months (yes, i did type right). Some 'analyst' send me a mail (right, i've been communicating with them all the time with email and phone calls, and they don't even send me a message about mailing me the 'decision'), and the mail says she evaluate the lost and decide to give me a fair payment on $6/pound. $6/pound???!!!! what you can buy for $6/pound? And who would deliver anything only worth $6/pound from Chicago to San Francisco? The entire weight of the deliver is around 2k pounds, that means she think i am delivering $12000 worth items by paying them $5k to do it? If she's not the dumb, i must have to be the one. Following up: I tried to reach them again, and not any sufficient feedback, and they just mention i can find some type of court to make an judgement. While i am picking up the law to pretend myself, i want to alert everybody, if you want to get item lost and be paid by $6/pound while you bought extra insurance, use Minimovers. Otherwise, close the site and use some better services. read more

Every single one of my furniture pieces was broken and/or damaged. I'm not an unrealistic mover. I have lived in 6 cities, 3 states and 2 countries in 10 years. I have moved several times within one state (on my own) and I have moved out of state (and hired professional movers) for the following -from the South to West Coast -from the West Coast to the East Coast -from the East Coast to the United Kingdom My point is, that I expect some damages but this is the WORST of any of my moves. If my belongings can survive the above mentioned moves...then why can't they survive just one move with this company???? I hired MiniMoves for a move from the East Coast to the South. I only moved a handful of furniture pieces and every single one of them is damaged. One piece has fallen apart; the dining chairs are all broken; and everything has nicks and scratches ruining the appearance. Its as if it was placed on a truck without using those padded blankets that I see most moving companies use. And a significant portion of my fragile items (dishes etc) are broken. The bulk of my move was just boxes and plastic storage containers. One of the plastic storage containers was ripped in the corners if that tells you anything. How the heck did they rip plastic? it is very frustrating to have spent thousands of dollars to move belongings that are now ruined. I am still in the middle of the claims process but I do not anticipate very much. read more

My wife and I used minimoves for an out-of-state move. Overall, we had a poor experience and would like to echo what others have said about them. -POOR COMMUNICATION: At first, it seemed like the communication was going to be great - but after we signed our contract - Minimoves did not contact us until the day before our move out, asking us to change our moving time/date. After they picked up our things, they did not contact us to go over how to arrange our delivery nor any time line. We contacted the on multiple occasions unsuccessfully. It was a disaster. -SLOW SERVICE: not only was their customer service slow and awful, it took them over 3 weeks to move our things and our things were dropped off at the last possible date on our contract. Overall, we were unimpressed with Minimoves and do not plan on using their services again. read more

I had a great experience with them. Talked with Anthony and Michelle. Both very helpful, courteous, and professional. The 2 guys showed up 15 minutes early, were very polite, got started right away, and finished early, and adjusted my bill, and saved me a few dollars. With so many choices, and no idea who to call, they came up on Google. I'd recommend MiniMoves to anyone needing a moving company. read more

Be careful about using these guys I moved from California to Colorado. I originally we're supposed to get my stuff picked up between May 27th - 30th but they came on the 31st. They claim they truck broke down like the only have one truck for the company??? The movers came on the 31st they move my stuff and I got my stuff on the June 20th in Colorado my estimate rate was $1,301. I told many movies are had extra stuff they told me they charge as they go depending on how much stuff I have so when my stuff arrived it went from $1,301.10 to $3,127. 76 which they told me the rates will change depending on how much stuff I have my understand that part. But when my stuff arrived my TV stand, My Dresser, and My Nightstand damage during the process I made it claim to them but I was denied! Because mimi moves said my furniture was made of Particle Board which they do not cover, also they told me that the natural stress of moving which is bullshit!!!! I didn't spend $1500 dollars on a black oak wood bedroom set an a $200 TV stand to have it damage by mimi moves when I did receive my furniture it was shirink wrap with no padding, no protection whatsoever but their website said they do professional packing which is bullshit!!! When you move people stuff it is your duty and responsibility to make sure their stuff is 100% intact if its damage I know stuff happens but you are responsible for the damages. People have valuable things. So I have to appeal my claim or take them to court. DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL if you don't believe me look at some of the reviews that are posted on here.... read more

We used them for an office furniture move. Their price was much lower than other quotes we received, and they were flexible on the timeframe for pick-up. The service itself was hassle free and professional. The quote was done over the phone and confirmed via e-mail and again at the time of pick-up. There was one mistake on the paperwork at the time of pick-up, and it was corrected on the spot. We had a few other quotes which were extremely high for what we needed done. One company came out to our office with two guys just to give an estimate. That's a waste of my time when we're only talking about 5 file cabinets. Would definitely use Mini-Moves again for a small move and I wouldn't waste my time trying to find someone else. read more

This is regarding a move we made through MiniMoves in Feb. 2015. The entire move which consisted of just 5 boxes was a harrowing experience and the lack of professionalism shown by the customer service staff is appalling. Here are the specific incidents which caused us unnecessary headache: 1) The original pick-up was scheduled for 11am-3pm and we were told that we will get a call at least 30 mins before they arrive for pick-up. They called us at 1.30 pm to change the time to 4.30 pm. In spite of us agreeing to that, they called us again at 3 pm (without the 30 min notice), waited till 3.20 pm and left without a pick-up. We told them repeatedly to wait for 5 more minutes for us to get back but no luck there. 2) The customer service agent we spoke to after this incident *shouts* at us saying we have to pay a $85 charge for re-scheduling the pick-up. This was the most unfriendly customer-service we have ever had to deal with. The manager was extremely rude and did not value his customers. After repeated calls to two different agents, they finally rescheduled the pick-up almost a week after the original date. 3) The delivery in Boston was to be made to our 3rd floor apartment. This was made clear while booking (and the address was provided which also explains the parking scenario in the area). However the delivery guy simply refused to take the boxes up the elevator citing his truck being in a no-parking zone. We even volunteered to stand by the truck, but again, no luck arguing with him. He pressed on rescheduling the delivery stating it was a 2-man job. My need to receive my boxes without further delays (which were already ample), forced me to transport the boxes to the 3rd floor all by myself. Will not recommend this business to anyone - bad dispatchers, worst customer service. read more
