This was my first visit to this location and I was very impressed with the food. The Korean fried chicken had a sweet taste but not overpowering., the jap chae and veggie Kim bap were the perfect combination to round out my meal. There is a nice outdoor dining area and all the diners on this night were sitting outside. There was only one person taking orders and serving but it only took 20 minutes for my take out. I am looking forward to forward to returning to enjoy the lunch menu.

A true gem can be found at Mini Momo. Now this is a bit hard to find because GPS takes you to a weird spot. But it's in the back of this shopping plaza. You need to park and walk a little bit and look for the white umbrellas which are next to the orange umbrellas. Lots of closed shops here, and a courtyard. This is a cute place and sitting outside is nice and dog friendly. Inside is cozy. Service is excellent, we loved our female server. Super friendly, smiling, checked in on us, fulfilled and delivered our order and made sure we were doing great. Even made great recommendations. Ordered the stone pot bibimbap and the Momo Korean tacos with beef and shrimp. Excellent flavor. Sooo tasty, our food was just too good for words and our service was even better. Definitely a great spot for lunch and it made our quick visit to Gainesvillle a great one!!

Mini Momo was a little hard to find using Apple Maps, but it was actually nice walking around the plaza to find it. I was craving Korean food and remembered this place is run by the same people who have Momoyaki, so I wanted to check it out. It's a cute little spot with both indoor and outdoor seating. The waitress was really nice, though it looked like there were only two people serving, so they were handling all the tables. The menu here leans more Korean with dishes like bibimbap, pajeon, and tteokbokki. I ordered the momo taco and a side of sundubu jjigae. The taco came in a hotteok-style shell with beef, onions, lettuce, and a really good sauce on top. It was about the size of my hand and tasted great. The meat was seasoned really well. The sundubu jjigae had a lot of soft tofu, but the broth itself wasn't very flavorful and mostly tasted like spicy water. Even so, the taco and soup together were filling, and for about $13 it felt like a pretty good value for dinner. I also tried the iced pomegranate tea, which was really refreshing and had little jellies in it.

I have been a momoyaki fan for years. (I have a "Momo till you can't no Mo'" shirt...) when I saw this spot opened, I had to check it out. I love the outdoor seating, and the food was possibly even better than I remembered! Fast service and very kind staff. Will definitely be back Recommend starting with the crab Rangoon's and getting the Bibimbop- it is their specialty!!

Very cute down to earth Korean restaurant. Delicious authentic dishes with some modern extras on the menu. Loved our dishes and would absolutely would go back. Small, quiet interior. Perfect for a quick lunch out.

I recently visited Mimi Momo for lunch and had a nice experience. For my entrée I had the Stone Pot Bibimbap with Beef. Soft savory rice was nicely crisped at the bottom of the bowl and topped with crisp cabbage, carrots, and bean sprouts, wilted spinach, tender lightly sweet beef, and a soft yolky fried egg. A side of spicy pepper sauce was a nice touch to mix into the bowl. I also felt compelled to order the Matcha Green Tea Cheesecake for dessert. The Cheesecake had a very nice matcha flavor, was not overly sweet and paired nicely with the scoop of cool sweet vanilla ice cream. Overall, this was a quality stop for lunch.

We went here for my birthday after seeing all the stellar reviews and we were not disappointed. One of the best restaurants in Gainesville. I got the ribs and my wife got the pork belly lunch boxes with white kimchi and they were delicious. The manager, Sang, was also incredibly welcoming, nice, and helpful. Highly recommend.

This place is really a 6/5! Everything from the food to the service, it's the perfect little addition to town. The staff is so friendly and despite it being a small location they made a huge impression! Cannot wait to be back and try other items!

Still as yummy as the first time I had mini momo. Everything came out pipping hot and so flavorful. My bf loved the momo taco with bulgogi. I had the shrimp bibimbap this time because I wanted something lighter. I might have to come by on a lunch time to try out their specials. Our server as soon as we came offers complementary tea. It was barley tea and I've never had it but it was cold outside even though we were sitting inside I was chilly so I got hot and my bf got it cold. It was soothing and helped me with some inflammation and nausea I was feeling. I felt much more relaxed and crazy I don't know if it has healing properties but I've been insomniac and I feel asleep so quick at night. Might have to get some barley tea for home. I ordered the wontons and they were so yummy. I love their sauce that they pair it with. It's sweet but not overwhelming. I saved it for my bibimbap. My bf had the galbi box and he loved it . We love how intimate and small mini momo is and hope that it can stay. Not sure how well they are doing but they are on the side of town that not many young people frequent. I saw people pass by and we came around 7pm on a Wednesday and there was one other couple with us but no one came in. I wish them the best because it's not a busy area of town in my opinion. I would like to see them last and thrive because frankly I love their quality better than momoyaki which I've had some issues with. I think the simplicity of the menu makes it so that it's quality food coming out every time.

My friend and I visited Gainesville and were looking for a quick bite in the area when we came across this place. It's located in a mini courtyard surrounded by other shops. Inside is pretty cozy with a good amount of seats. The worker was really pleasant and we had a nice conversation with her! We didn't order too much since we just wanted a snack, but the kimbap was good and the pajun was super flavorful! It was crispy, fluffy, and the vegetables were refreshing. I was glad that we chose this place since it was perfect for what we were craving. I'd love to come here again if I'm ever in the area!

Delicious Korean food was amazing! (See pics and receipt for what we ordered.) We sat outside in the evening and enjoyed the whole experience. They had umbrellas and heat lamps. Marina our server was awesome! Highly recommend.

The boa buns were soft, the pork was cooked perfectly, and the hoisin sauce at the bottom of the bun was amazing. There were vegetables on top, including cucumbers that tasted sweet and carrots. The vegetables were fresh and tasted great with everything else. We also ordered the crab Rangoon which I personally really liked. I don't like fish, and this crab Rangoon must have had a large amount of cream cheese base. I personally really enjoyed it since the crab wasn't very prominent. The filling was creamy, the Rangoon was crunchy, and the sweet and spicy sauce it came with made a perfect combo. For our meal, we ordered the chicken pad Thai. Unfortunately, it didn't really meet our expectations. The pad Thai was sitting on top of a sauce at the bottom, which tasted like a hoisin sauce base. The taste was very minimal, which was disappointing. The noodles were soft, almost like they were overcooked. The chicken was cooked well and lightly seasoned (which worked perfectly for the pad Thai). The vegetables on top of the pad Thai were also very fresh and you could tell they were freshly cut. The lack of peanut/pad thai taste was the most disappointing part that unfortunately lost it for us. The service was good. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and were able to select our own table. The inside is decently small, with around 8 tables.

We started with the wonton soup, which was visually beautiful. The broth had a rich, inviting color and the wontons themselves were excellent -- thin, delicate wrappers with a very flavorful filling. Unfortunately, the broth itself was a bit underwhelming and lacked depth. A touch of hot mustard helped bring it to life, but it needed more natural flavor on its own. The standout dish of the meal was the Mu Shu Pork. Absolutely fantastic. The portion was generous and the flavor reminded us of classic Mu Shu from WoHop in NYC's Chinatown -- high praise. The pancakes were incredibly thin, almost paper-like and nearly translucent, yet soft and perfect for wrapping. This dish alone makes us want to come back. The Bang Bang noodles were another dish that looked beautiful when served, but the flavor didn't quite match the presentation. The sauce seemed watered down and there was quite a bit of liquid in the bowl, which muted the overall taste. It felt very close to being great, just not fully there yet. Overall, this was a mixed but promising first visit. There's clearly real skill in the kitchen, and when the flavors hit, they hit well. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more dishes -- and we'll happily update this review after our next visit.

Oh my god, I took a single bite and didn't speak to my friend for 15 minutes as I continued munching it down. It was amazing. The vermicelli comes underneath this mound of pork holy grail, and while I'm used to having my vermicelli with these bowls cold and a bit thinner, and there being significantly more noodles than meat ratio, I'm thrilled to say that not this bowl - this bowl was 60% pork, 30% noodle, and 10% veggie. I'm taking every bite with 2-3 pieces of pork. I'm soaking up the juices with the noodles. I'm crunching on a few cucumbers to balance it out. I'm savoring every piece. Absolutely wonderful. I'm so excited to go back and try every one of their dishes. The restaurant itself is small, located inside of a shared mini-food court place with a pasta-to-go restaurant and a boba tea shop, and has a really cute sitting area. Now, Mala Tang and Mala Xiang Guo both come from Sichuan as far as I'm aware, so they're spicy--and the other food here is, too. I got some food to take away from the bar including Kung Pao chicken, lion's head meatballs (pork, no lions were harmed!), eggplant, and lo mein. The lion's head meatballs were excellent, the Kung Pao chicken very spicy and very good, the eggplant a bit soggy but alright, the lo mein . . . well, no better than most strip mall quick Chinese places, honestly. Still, it was good overall and this is very nice to have a place for take-away in the grocery store--it's also beside the boba tea and mochi donut counter so you can get your dessert and just everything in one fell swoop here. I did find it, as someone who cooks a lot of Chinese food myself, rather bemusing that they aced the tricky dishes and yet pretty much botched the lo mein which should have been the easiest part of the menu.

Both Mala Tang and Mala Xiang Guo are some of the most popular and authentic dishes from Sichuan province in China. I would not try spicy or extra spicy unless you are familiar with spicy east asian food.

There is plenty of seating and the staff is very friendly. Since it is located in Midtown, parking could be tricky. It wasn't super busy when we arrived, but it seems to be a popular spot amongst college students. The menu offers a nice variety of asian dishes and they also serve breakfast/brunch on the daily. The interior appeared sort of "run down", but in the best way possible. It was still inviting and provided for a nice, laid back sort of meal. The food doesn't take too long to come out either and it is made fresh to order. We ended up ordering the steamed dumplings as an appetizer. I also ordered a cup of miso soup. The dish comes with 5 decent size dumplings. They are handmade and packed with filling. I appreciated the flavorful pork and the amount of it in them. My miso soup was pretty standard, nothing too special. But is hit the spot on a chilly evening. For our entrees, my friend ordered the beef udon, while I ordered the Lemongrass chicken. The portions are pretty large and we found it to be quite filling. My friend said this was some of the best udon she'd had. The broth was very flavorful, the beef was tender, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The only thing she didn't like as much was the fried egg, opposed to the more traditional hard boiled egg. My lemongrass chicken was satisfying as well. It came with a copious amount of chicken, with a really tangy sauce over it. The rice was overcooked, which was disappointing. Overall, Bagels and Noodles is a wonderful asian eatery located in Midtown. Its location is prime for college students and I can see why it is so popular. The service is very good and personable. The "hole in the wall" feel of the restaurant makes the atmosphere! The food is made with lots of love and it was served fresh and hot. The dumplings are amazing and I would recommend.
