Small mom and pop Chinese restaurant, more of a to go restaurant. I wasn't feeling good so I go with Chinese food every time. Pork lo mein and pan fried dumplings were very good, wonton soup was just good with Typical portions. I wasn't amazed but will go back again. read more

Is this fine dining...nah. Is it some of best strip mall Chinese food, absolutely. Can't beat the value. About 20 lunch specials for under or around $9, with a can of soda. The food is made fresh with each order so everything is hot and delicious. a my wife's favorite is the chicken with broccoli and mine is the boneless spare ribs. I've tried about half the lunch options but I'm drawn back to my fav most of the time. While mainly a take spot, there are four tables and with sitting most of the time. I grew up on what I would call American style Chinese food, and this doesn't disappoint. Definitely worth a visit! read more

The food came out PIPING hot and was pretty tasty! Pretty standard for American Chinese food, I wouldn't say it was anything special but it hit the spot. It came in pretty large portions and the leftovers held up well. The service was fairly quick and the ambiance was alright, though I think it's meant to be more of a takeout place. read more

RE LUNCH Was in the neighborhood and in the mood for some Chinese. This is a fairly new place in a new Publix shopping center. So I figured it would be a better choice than the usual dingy strip mall takeaway spots. (But there wasn't really any difference.) For a new place, it wasn't so clean. The floors, windows, tables and sills were dirty, but not filthy. (Lost Star) There was a brisk lunch trade during my visit as noted due to the offered Specials for $8 that include lunch portion entree w fried rice and soda. I ordered the Lunch Shrimp w Mixed Vegetables in White Sauce. The entree was very good, especially since the GENEROUS portion of veggies and shrimp were PERFECTLY cooked in a flavorful sauce. The fried rice was BLAND and thankfully there were soy sauce and chili sauce packets available that I HIGHLY recommend you take with you to use -- or you could opt for just plain rice instead. A SOLID choice for vegetarians for something quick. Definitely an option to place your order, go pick up a few things at Publix and then collect your food afterwards. Food was good and the rice was even better! I always get extra shrimp and add egg to my shrimp fried rice. The shrimp were pretty big ! Will for sure go back. The ambiance was a little dull but the food made it for it. Service was great. read more

Welcome back, Gator China! It's still my favorite chinese restaurant in town. I was so sad to see them closed for so long while the new shopping plaza was built, but they are finally back and are just as scrumptious as ever. I think their wonton soup is the best in town and their chicken dishes are not super oily like a few other restaurants in town. There is limited indoor seating. It's more of a takeout place. Be sure to come for lunch from 11-3. Great combos! read more

This is a veggie friendly meal, something i wanted to try and it was delicious! Tonight I ordered a "Broccoli & Veggie Fried Rice Platter" with a Spring Roll, and it was only $10! I have also tried other entree's such as Sweet & Sour Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Chicken Wings, Chicken & Broccoli and each meal was very flavorful! Food is yummy and fresh, prices are affordable, servers are chill, there's some seating inside and there's enough noise that you feel comfy chilling on your own or with a small group. For quick Chinese take-away, it's pretty good and their new location and building are super sparkling clean, as well. What is more, the service is quite prompt and friendly. I had the chicken with cashews (the larger portion) and it was if anything extremely generous and tasty. It was also prepared quickly, in less than ten minutes, while I shopped at Publix across the way. Again, it's fast Chinese take-away and the usual suspects when it comes to the long list of dishes on the menu. No surprises, and even the "house specials" are the same generic dishes I've seen at many a strip-mall Chinese restaurant but the speed, friendliness, location, and quality really cannot be beat. read more

Takeaway Chinese food is something I've always been a fan of, and I must say this is one of the better experiences I've had with it, As you would expect, it is the same items you'd expect from any establishment of the genre, but the service is efficient, and the food was very flavorful. The staff were also very friendly. the building itself is mainly geared towards takeaway, but there is seating for those who would like to enjoy it inside, or simply wait for your order to be ready (less than ten minutes in my experience.) My meal of sesame chicken, fried rice and egg roll was ok, not what was expected. Could not recommend and have some positivity as other reviewers. I reheated it lightly at home to finish the meal the veggies in the fried rice did not seem fresh and did not overcook it. The peas were very hard and some of the chicken seemed to have a grizzle texture. I don't think the chicken is the best quality. Came here on a whim and the food here is pretty solid. We got the shrimp Lo Mein, the beef and broccoli, and a cup of the egg drop soup. Everything is what you expect when you think of Traditional Chinese take-out style food. Food came out in a good amount of time, we didn't feel like we waited too long. There's a few tables inside if you want to stay and eat which we did. Will most likely be coming back if we're looking for some good Chinese food. read more

The Kung Pao chicken lunch special was so good!!! The perfect amount of veggies and chicken with a little kick to it. I like that it's not a thick corn starch sauce and it's not super oily.
