Good Asian eatery next to panda. I was mostly intrigued by their bourbon chicken (my favorite that most places never have anymore!). They had gluten free options like rice and veggies and non breaded chicken, which was nice. The bowls were huge, i couldn't eat it all and wish I would have gotten one choice of meat and base instead of 2 each! Service was fast and friendly. Bourbon chicken was 10/10! Inside was quiet with plenty of seating.

This place has pretty good prices for the amount of food you get! When I walked in they instantly offered me samples and gave a detailed description of each size and how everything works (both times!) The ambiance is pretty nice with a decent amount of seating. The food was delicious and there are so many choices I had a hard time deciding! I highly recommend the mushrooms, they're cooked so well and have amazing flavor!

Today and boyfriend and I went to BAMBUU Asian Eatery on Archer Rd and our experience was great! We were greeting when we arrived and we were offered samples to try out their specialty meats. I chose the 2 Two Bowl with Steak sweet potatoes and Base - Lo Mein Noodles. My boyfriend chose the Bambuu bourbon chicken and rice, his entree isn't in the pictures but it looked amazing. The service, ambience and good was amazing. Nelson served us when we came in and he was incredible! The restaurant has seating and side parking also. 10/10 will return again!

Not bad for the price! The service was quick and the area seemed very clean. The menu and food quality are really similar to Panda Express, but Bambuu offers more bang for your buck. I recommend the rangoons--they're better than some of the fine dining locations around Gainesville.

Great experience. The customer service was so amazing with everyone helping out, especially on their opening day and being so busy. Everyone was very welcoming and the food was great with good portions. Definitely recommend the orange and bourbon chicken. Welcome to Gainesville Bambuu!

The service was great but the food left more to be desired. Best bites: bourbon chicken, udon noodles Worst bites: Korean chicken, fried rice First the good: the staff was welcoming and friendly. Our meal was free for their opening event but normally, the Four bowl would be $11.99 + the cost of your drink. The Chinese bbq pork is reminiscent of char siu and the bourbon chicken is a solid protein choice. The udon noodles were cooked perfectly and added to the meal. The bad: the Korean chicken was like biting into soggy Styrofoam. No crunch. Flavor subpar. The lo mein noodles under cooked and the fried rice was extra dry. Overall lacking seasoning. The okay: Seeing purple rice on the menu was exciting. Overall okay cook on this base selection. Shrimp was okay, not really an appealing flavor for us. They let you sample the protein in line, so take advantage of this to find your perfect protein! Portions are just okay. In summary, will not be returning, but I hope they improve the quality of the dishes with strong competition right next door.

Very oily. A little lack of flavor. If you're hungry it'll be good. Small spot with seating inside. Parking is tricky!

Excellent little place to grab some Asian food that tastes good fast. None of the food is over cooked. Easy menu and lots of choices.

The staff member was super nice when I walked and immediately welcoming and friendly. I went with the brown sugar milk tea with boba and upgraded to almond milk for my milk choice. The upgrade is $1 surcharge however he was super nice and gave the upgrade on the house. The boba shop is pretty small and has a claw game inside. The prices are pretty reasonable and he informed his favorite boba was a seasonal one, the hami melon boba tea which sounded good and will try soon! This boba tea was surprisingly not super sweet at all. It was very creamy and delicious. It had a subtle hint of brown sugar and the boba tasted like it soaked up the brown sugar flavoring. I highly recommend this drink. However, be mindful of trying to get to this place if you're a local as it's that time of the year (aka football season). If you can find parking - definitely stop by Tan-Cha.

Get a drink and snack and get a dessert for free. Kiosk was a bit tricky, but staff was standing by to help. Drinks were decent. Red bean milk tea, large size, light ice, and 25% sweet. You get the idea--lots of customizations were available. There were a large selection of snacks on the menu. Tempted to get the popcorn chicken ,but went with the veggie ramen. The spouts were crunchy, leafy greens were fresh, and the soup base flavorful. Served in a plastic bowl. Lots of snacks to choose from too. The ube cream puff was pre wrapped. There's lots of yummy sweets in the bakery like chiffon cake, cheesecake, basque cheesecake, cream puffs, burst cake, mochi, crepe cake, french macarons, and more. It's near the Enson Market. It wasn't too loud inside and there were plenty of places to sit. I think it would be a great place for a date or to meet up with friends. My order: The matcha green tea w. coconut milk (no boba). I also tried the tiramisu mousse cake. The green tea was really tasty, the tiramisu mousse was just okay IMO. Why I left a four star review: There weren't a lot of dairy-free milk options, the price point was a tad high, and there are too many other boba tea shops in Gainesville with a better price point and flavors.

I settled on some boba tea instead and had oolong but unfortunately they were out of boba balls so I had it without. They added a replacement for the boba balls which was a little off and like a jelly texture . Almost like aloe Vera texture . I still loved their boba tea flavor which I got brown sugar. We also tried 2 mochi. The mochi had a great flavor but the texture was too hard for me. We had the strawberry and coconut mochi but they had other amazing flavors like habanero coffee, expresó , lychee , passion fruit etc. I appreciate that they had so many unique flavors you don't see often. I am not sure if the macaroons are fresh or who makes them but they also had a variety of interesting flavors . Would definitely come back to try other items and flavors that they offer.

Before I say yes to boba tea, though, I ask the waitress for their dessert menu and they sent me to BC Boba Tea & Ice Cream. Apparently Swamp Boil doesn't serve dessert. Anyway, this cute little tea shop also sells some snacks and ice cream. Given my friend wanting some boba tea, the desire was contagious and I wanted one, too. I also figured it made more sense for the road as I had many hours until I would reach South Florida. He ordered an oolong milk tea with boba while I ordered a strawberry green tea with boba. Both were refreshing, but I think I'm happy I stuck with the strawberry green tea. Milk and long car rides aren't good companions and that's with me not being lactose intolerant. Anyhow, the service was fine, a bit cold perhaps, but it is what it is. They have a lovely mural on site and I'm generally curious if this and Swamp Boil are owned by the same person. At any rate, I would go back if in the area.

There was one time the texture was off, but they mentioned switching distributors, so I hope that's been fixed. I haven't ordered it in a few months, but I'm looking forward to trying it again. This time, I was hungry, and my usual ramen spot was closed, so I decided to try their food. I got it to go since they were about to close in an hour. I got the Tonkotsu Ramen and Crab Rangoons. The ramen had a decent broth, and the portion was filling. The broth was creamy but lacked the deep, slow-simmered richness you'd expect. The noodles had a good texture but weren't as firm and chewy as fresh ramen should be. The toppings--tender pork, green onions, and an egg--were satisfying. I wish the pork was as melt-in-your-mouth as proper chashu. It's a convenient option if you're already there, but for a truly rich tonkotsu experience, I'd go elsewhere. The Crab Rangoons were crispy and had a nice balance of creamy and savory filling. Overall, Kung Fu Tea is still my favorite spot for boba, and I'm excited to come back to see if the consistency has improved!
