Once I previews their menu online, I called and ordered. My coworker and I ordered the 8 piece Fried Chicken Wings with Chicken Fried Rice. Beef & Broccoli with Chicken Fries Rice. The Beef & Broccoli was apart of the $7.98 lunch special, but the wings entree was built (10.98), most wings don't come with a meal. All in all the service was great, only a 25 wait for Call in orders, which gave me time to clock out and get there. And the food was flavorful and fresh! Service is very very poor. When the phone finally was answered the guy sounded very annoyed and irritated. Kept saying k anything else. After I gave him my order he said ok 25 minutes, bye. Can't say it's a language barrier bc he spoke perfect english. I have never felt like such an inconvenience to a restaurant. This is your typical Chinese take out place. Nothing too special about it. Same items you find on any menu. I give it 4 stars because my food is always served hot and with more than generous portions. In fact, I usually end up sharing with my kid or husband. My favorite dish here is the orange chicken because they are really nice about making it without a lot of spice to it for me. that won me over. I would have given them a 5-star rating but every time I go in something is not working whether it's the AC or the soda machine. other than the minor maintenance issue of broken items this place is a solid 4 star. This place is horrible. This was found in my son's shrimp lo mein. They do not wear gloves. An object was literally pulled out of his mouth. When I called to inform them of what happened, they didn't understand. I drove all the way back and showed what was in the food. I received a refund and will never visit this establishment. 4 stars for fast food Chinese. Typical takeout Chinese, YET there are approx 16 inside tables, a lunch buffet ($6.60 for buffet takeout) & the food is quite GOOD. The servings are large for the price. Staff was friendly & easy to communicate with. The roasted pork lo mein combo (w/ fried rice & egg roll) was flavorful & is easily 3 meals for me (see pic). The fried donuts (10) for $3.50 were hot, bathed in sugar, delicious & enough for 5 people. This establishment is worthy of the 4 star rating considering its fast food Chinese competitors. OK, it's your basic strip-mall Chinese takeout place, only we usually eat in. The best thing I've had here is their "special" (i.e. Not on the menu) steamed shrimp dumplings. Five yummy dumplings with an okay sauce make a good lunch for this old gal. Spouse usually orders one of the lunch specials which come with fried rice. And, to be contrary, we sit down and eat at one of their wee tables. They do, of course, offer your standard Woody chopsticks, but we carry our own in the car, so don't run the risk of slivers on the tongue. On the whole, I'd say this is as good or better than other strip-mall Chinese places in the neighborhood. read more

The food here is horrible. Their sweet and sour chicken is basically a ton of fried dough wrapped around an extremely small slice of chicken. I have never had bad fried rice until I tried China 1's. Usually when I order steamed dumplings they are whole pieces of pork or beef. The steamed dumplings here were made of some low quality meat that was more of a paste rather than a ground meat, which is the first time I have ever had dumplings made with ground meat.
