    Chicken & Garlic Sauce (7.5-8/10) Beef w/Mixed Vegetables (7.5-8/10)
    Joy X.

We didn't want to do any dishes (Story of all our lives!) - needed an easy meal & went with Chinese after my hubs 93 yr. old grandfather asked for it & highly suggested this place. We ordered by phone and it was ready in 10-15 min.! It's located in the same plaza as Publix - abundant parking and popular with people picking up orders. For 4 people, we ordered: Hot & Sour Soup (7.5-8/10) Egg Drop Soup (7.5-8/10) Chicken & Garlic Sauce (7.5-8/10) Beef w/Mixed Vegetables (7.5-8/10) We were most impressed with the vegetables (broccoli, snow peas, green peppers) because they were not overcooked after waiting +30 min. to eat it; it came with a lof of broccoli! The sauces between the two were very similar regardless that one was a garlic sauce - more corn starch in it than my personal preference. The beef was good - have had better from other Chinese takeout & I think the addition of baking soda would make it more tender. For $30.23, we got a ton of food and enough for leftovers!

The counter; may I take your order?

Great staff personalities, consistently good food. Ask for a recommendation if you want to try something new. It's worth it.

Absolutely the worst egg rolls ever, I am praying I don't get sick. The filling tasted rotten!

General Tso chicken is 10/10. Definitely not a healthy meal but the chicken is juicy and the sauce is legit

The grocery offers most everything you'd want from a pan-Middle Eastern grocer: dry goods, teas, frozen food, fragrant waters, syrups, canned goods, et cetera. They also have a good selection of baklava and other treats by the front counter worth checking out: they get different sweets in sometimes--always baklava but sometimes also namoura cake and other things. When they have sari burma it's normally excellent, so look for that as well. They also have a good spice selection and try to include a lot of Turkish and Persian speciality items as well (this include Turkish frozen goods and yes, the pudding mixes also). The restaurant portion is a buffet and they have a hot bar and cold bar. The hot bar has traditional Egyptian foods and was very good when I tried it while the cold bar has things that could also be taken away like hummus, salads, and babaganoush. You can get the hot bar to-go as well, but having things like hummus is a big deal because you can purchase enough to have on hand for the week. I hope the restaurant continues to work out for them: buffets only make money if they have a lot of customers, so I really hope the community supports this fine establish and wonderful people who own and run it.

We started with the wonton soup, which was visually beautiful. The broth had a rich, inviting color and the wontons themselves were excellent -- thin, delicate wrappers with a very flavorful filling. Unfortunately, the broth itself was a bit underwhelming and lacked depth. A touch of hot mustard helped bring it to life, but it needed more natural flavor on its own. The standout dish of the meal was the Mu Shu Pork. Absolutely fantastic. The portion was generous and the flavor reminded us of classic Mu Shu from WoHop in NYC's Chinatown -- high praise. The pancakes were incredibly thin, almost paper-like and nearly translucent, yet soft and perfect for wrapping. This dish alone makes us want to come back. The Bang Bang noodles were another dish that looked beautiful when served, but the flavor didn't quite match the presentation. The sauce seemed watered down and there was quite a bit of liquid in the bowl, which muted the overall taste. It felt very close to being great, just not fully there yet. Overall, this was a mixed but promising first visit. There's clearly real skill in the kitchen, and when the flavors hit, they hit well. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying more dishes -- and we'll happily update this review after our next visit.
